This was the most fun and pure joy I had watching Agents of shield with few sad moments of course because it's an AoS episode. Deke and Mack are a surprisingly fun duo, I just loved the way they worked together and how the episode helped progress both characters.
Oh and shoutout to the cheesy robot kills, my favorite part!
Great episode!! It manages to balance a lot of emotion with a lot of humour. This was one of the wackiest episodes in the show, and that's not a bad thing. This episode may be the best episode of Mack and Deke as characters. Truly great episode, with lots of fun!
Deke's singing of the iconic Breakfast Club song gave me the feels. Had to go back and watch the Breakfast Club. Classic!
That being said, this episode was a great mix of retro 80's feel, camaraderie between Mac and Deke and depth of character study of just these 2. Not to mention, nice twist for the '80s agents getting in Shield.
It might not be everyone's cup of tea but it was a clever mix of fun, timeless classic reminiscence and storytelling without stepping away too much from the series plot.

It felt a lot like a mishmash of 80's movies. All of the 80's cliches rolled into one episode. Coulson in a Max Headroom style setup was something I did not know I needed to see. Evil robots straight out of Chopping Mall. Not a bad homage to a more innocent time.
One of the weakest episode of this show and definitely the worst of the season. There was no coherence in the episode things just happened and I get that they're doing a "80's episode" and of course the comedy bits they gonna do is outdated but I still mehed and might even cringed at some cliche haha momets.
At least the gore scenes and the excessive blood shower scenes was kinda funny and cool.
This episode felt like it was written by some amateurs because it's nothing like the brilliant writing of previous seasons especially season 4.
But hey, at least with the last scene we know the kidnapping plot line from prev episode wasn't pointless and du,mb.
Al in all I'm disappointed with this episode they kinda sacrificed substance and good material over style. Hope next episodes are good and the finale don't disappoint.
