  • I am a fan of One Piece and the trailer released the hype to the World. I couldnt watch the movie in the cinema and waited half a year to watch this movie. I guess for the people who did watch it in the movies the movie felt wonderful. But I watched alone on a laptop and calmly analyzed this movie. The only good thing in the movie is animation. Plot and dialogues are aweful. All those cameos we see during the movie are pointless.. The villains are tremendously stupid. And for that I was waited that long... Good thing I havent spent my money on it.
  • I'm a fan myself, but, there're a couple of "buts" that makes it imperfect, the villain lack charisma, he just show up without any proper introduction that would mask his evil agenda. He just show up and goes like "hey guys, look at me, the demon heir, I'm very damn strong ya'll. Brain? Scheme? Tactics? who needs that? I'm brawnier than all of you combined." Such a not-well-developed, well-forgotten character for an ex-member of the once known as the world's most powerful and the most dangerous pirate crew for me. Visually, I can't help but almost got a sore eyes by the end of the film, maybe it's just me sitting too close to the screen, or maybe the screen just to big, or maybe it's really the case that sometimes, in some of the scenes, the characters and the backgrounds seem disconnected to my eyes to the point that it almost looks like a motion comics you watch in youtube. Actions? just enjoy it, the animation and choreography is far better than in the tv anime series, but still I can easily address some size/scale inconsistencies. Can't wait for another One Piece projects by Goda-sensei, IKUZOOO!!!!!
  • The best movie of One Piece only Movie Z and Strong World. Except 2 of that is suck.

This movie is looks too in a hurry.. Supernova look like a piece of noobz pirate.. They made the main villain look too OP but he's not.
  • Honestly what did you expect from them to do in the 20th anniversary ? they blow everyone's mind , 10/10 !! love it .

I liked that the movie introduced a lot of characters and brought back Luffy and the pirate crew, it was really amazing for One Piece fans to be able to see this great movie on the big screen!
  • It was a great Movie me and my friends enjoyed it but compared to Gold it barely stood up to it I gave gold a 10/10

Without spoiling anything this Movie is basically one very long Fight where as the other ones have a little bit more going on also the Villian in this one is quite underwhelming. His background Story seems very forced to me

tldr: I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed the previous ones even more :)

The best one piece movie full of action scenes and I had a lot of fun
  • Loved the storyline, but the graphics, the animation is getting too realistic. The argument is awesome, I hope they make the next movie with the animations more like Film Z, we love some 3D but this is anime, not 3D movie animations.
  • This movie was perfect. One Piece Movie 14: Stampede has perfect quality and art style. This movie was awesome like every other movies of One Piece. Seeing the fight scenes is so good. The animation was fantastic as usual. And every One Piece fans dream so many old characters are coming in this movie. Like Smoker, like Rob Lucci. I liked that the movie introduced a lot of characters. Lastly I love one thing so much. The clash of King's Haki. It was perfect.

If you fan One Piece, you should watch this movie. This movie is just insane. I recommend this to all One Piece fans. You won't be disappointed. If you haven't watch it., what do you waiting for?

This is the kind of thing a sexually frustrated cabin boy might dream up after six months shipwrecked on an all-seawater and manga diet: a power-crazed Japanese piratical fantasy that lands with all the subtlety of a 100-minute guitar solo. The world's buccaneers all turn up to Delta Island for Pirate Fest and a chance to hunt for renowned outlaw Gol D Roger's booty. But they've been hoodwinked: festival MC Buena Festa has teamed up with the grudgeful Douglas Bullet, a peanut-headed, musclebound brute with Michael Bolton hair, to lure them all into a trap to usher in a new pirate era.

What starts off like cosplay Wacky Races soon snowballs into non-stop battle royale. The various pirate crews are a stupendously imaginative carnival, careering into the melee proclaiming their chosen power-move in gairaigo (ie, loanwords). These names have surreal brilliance: Gum-Gum Kong Gun, Zeus Breeze Tempest, Blade of Beauty ... St Exupéry (WTF?). Dialogue is decipherable only by One Piece connoisseurs (not as much of a problem as might appear - this is the 14th film based on what is apparently the all-time bestselling manga series). Characterisation is as profound as a skeleton privateer laughing at his own farts.

Every time you think director Takashi Otsuka has hit a ceiling for either ridiculousness or destructiveness, he effortlessly busts through both. "Go be the strongest somewhere else," yells the masochistic hero Monkey D Luffy (voiced by Mayumi Takana and Colleen Clinkenbeard) after yet another beating by Bullet. The character animation is rough-hewn and spirited, all the better to capture One Piece's scurvy rabble, and contrasts well with the digitally invoked mayhem, like Bullet's purple crystal tsunamis. All the destruction does get a bit wearing, but it seems churlish to complain: this makes Pirates of the Caribbean look like Swallows and Amazons.

  • The movie is just insane. I recommend this to all anime and One Piece fans every where. You won't be disappointed
  • One piece was my favourite anime of all time. This movie has a great action scene, but many important characters including a new one have a very low screenplay for them.

Still an enjoyable movie to watch
  • Most of the movie seems to be little bits of fan service stitched together, rather than a satisfying story. Here's character X. They're saying that thing that makes them sound cool (Zoro), or doing that attack that makes them look badass (Luffy), or trying to do both and failing because that what makes them an endearing loser (Buggy).

At this point in the canon everyone is so OP that that the villain has no choice but to be equally overpowered; although One Piece can do smart villain plots, they work better as a slow burn over a long story arc. This is more of a showcase for as many characters as possible getting their 15 seconds of screen time before the unsurprising climax.

The sweet spot for characters with such a power creep is similar to an RPG; at the low levels they can't do much, and the high levels they are so strong they can just spam their strongest attacks. It's that middle ground where the most fun is to be had.

Unfortunately that heyday for the One Piece crew was around the Alabaster era. The ongoing stories are still entertaining when there is room for is a solid story, character development, and plot twists. But in a movie which is trying to shoehorn in as much as it can, those fall by the wayside in favor of a simple battle royale plot. It's still fun, but it could be better.
  • This is Luffy!!! The fifth emperor The guard of honour for Luffy By the new era's pirates And also the alliance with navi Warlords, pirates, revolutionary army!!! Offffffffffffff Awesome The king is here And I think smoker will be the next admiral

10/10 !! Oda and Toei did something truly amazing , love it .
  • The thrilling movie experience that One Piece: Stampede, directed by Takashi Otsuka, offers serves as a victorious ode to the adored anime and manga series. The film, which was released to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, brings together a cast of characters from several series to create an epic clash at the Pirate Festival, featuring the Straw Hat Pirates. The animation is just amazing; it perfectly captures the spirit of the series' pivotal action scenes and the vibrant characters created by Eiichiro Oda. Stampede is a fan's paradise, providing an exciting fusion of humor, fierce battles, and poignant moments honoring One Piece's enduring legacy.

Though it was already told to us in the anime about the beginning of the movie I didn't expect it to be that different but it doesn't matter so much as I still enjoyed watching it
  • This is the ultimate movie for one piece fans!

Awesome story line, action-packed with a little roller coaster ride down the memory lane,, full of unexpected characters team-ups which is surprisingly good! and it is SUPERRRRRR COOL & HILARIOUS (say it in Franky style)

and yeah the last scene makes me sobbing.

    that's it.

    10/10.

The animation was very well done for the most part considering the many fight scenes. I liked the island, the pirate gathering and the treasure hunt. The 'Eternal log pose to Raftel' was a nice idea for a treasure but I wondered how everyone was so sure it was the real thing.

The story felt rushed and cramped with too many characters. It was basically Marineforth v.2... 11 supernovas, 2 admirals, several vice-admirals, 3 warlords, the revolutionary army, CP0, hundreds of navy and pirate ships and the one yonko level villain aswell as the one east blue level villain. Mihawk appeared out of nowhere on his oceanchair, then unenthusiastically cut a boat in half and a meteor into pieces and left the battle? Also what was the point of admiral Issho and why was admiral Borsalino stopped by the wall of fire at the end? The villains felt bland because we had little to no backstory of their motivation and training/powers, except a powerpoint presentation from the navy. I dont even remember their names thats how bored I felt about them. Honestly Tesoro from "Gold" was a much more interesting villain and that was achieved with a 1 minute backstory flashback.

Had they cut down on the fanservice and spent more time on the villains I would have found the story much more compelling.

Tons of 'Best OP movie ever'. Seriously? This movie is just pure fan-service. It's not bad, either but it's definitely not a good movie. Don't misunderstand me, I'm a huge fan of OP and that's precisely why I can't approve. I know, the plot doesn't matter much, I know we just want to see characters and fights. But, CGI-wise, very poor and sometimes ridiculous. The fights? Cool Sanji vs Lucci - wait that only lasted for 2 seconds. What's the point of bringing out so many cool characters to just make them show up and leave? (cf. MIHAWK). What about Bullet's power? It's again just some kind of gigantification... His background? Near to none. Well, sort of.

Anyway, unless you're just too much of an Otaku, or unless you're 14 years old, this is definitely not a good OP film. Try Z movie instead.
