This is a good clean respectable family comedy show. I think the idea with the horses is a good one.
  • David Cross has a fantasy that he wants to share. That fantasy makes me feel so good and it gives me hope. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the show is funny as hell. I was laughing a lot. But that golden nugget made my day.
  • The set seems to lack any of the edgy hard hitting humor that Cross has displayed in the past. Especially after the witty no punches pulled style he showed on his previous special; Oh, come on fell far short of expectation. Cross resorts to hacky played out jokes for the first half of the special. Appearing to resort to his normal political commentary in the second half, he comes across as more inflammatory than anything fresh or insightful
  • Ignore the tepid reviews from sensitive Trump voters who seemingly haven't seen any of David's other specials. This one is worth the price of admission.

This is a terrible set. Cross is so repetitious it's torture to watch. This "Special" falls very short .

David has a cute kid and a cool wife now (Amber Tamblyn). He's funny and honest about his life right now, avoiding the typical comedy cliches. But the real gold in this set comes toward the end when David taps into a collective fantasy of many Americans. Enjoy!
  • I've always been a fan of Cross, but this set is so uneven it's painful to watch. The second half devolves into one long incoherent hateful rant. Not what I'd call entertaining. Sad.

Just got really boring about halfway thought. Went 15 minutes without a laugh so I turned it off. He used to be funny.

    David Cross - appalling! ( Caution! )

Let me preface this with the fact that my whole family is Jewish and I read all about the Holocaust as a teen.

So we decided to watch some comedy on Saturday night, and tried David Cross' "Oh Come On". It quickly became apparent that he was an extreme leftist and some kind of SJW. Oh, and one of those self-loathing Jews. I didn't think much of it was funny. But THEN, about 10 minutes into this, he's joking about putting his baby daughter down on the oven door:

"I can't put her on the floor, so, you know, I undo the oven door and set her on that. And, um... it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. You know. If nothing else, it allows her to get a little closer to the history of her peoples, you know. And... ( audience laughing, groaning ) ( Groaning and an appalled hush! ) Her great-grandfather built ovens. For the Nazis. Now, here's the thing. He got out, he got out, Ashville, he got out. You judgmental f_cks."

So my jaw drops open and it seems that this guy's family is Jewish and he's joking about this! I was appalled and didn't want to watch anymore, but by the time I'd reached for the remote, he had moved on to THIS!:

"And so we are taking her in for her one year physical, which means, obviously, my wife and I had the big discussion and, uh, we have decided to let her live. And... And I'm gonna drill that into her head. I'm gonna tell her that repeatedly. Every day, I'm gonna make sure she knows that because when she's like five years old and she's having a tantrum, I want her to be able to repeat that out loud in a public place so that she knows it, you know, and we're at the airport and we gotta get on the flight and she's having a tantrum, like, "Hey, hey! Hey! Stop it! Hey! What did Daddy tell you? What did Daddy tell you?" "Um... you let me live?" "Yeah, that's right. Exactly. Not like..." "Not like the others?" "Yeah! Exactly. Now, come on, we gotta get on the plane. Come on. Seriously. You wanna go meet your sister? Or brother, I don't know, we never found out. Let's go. Let's go, let's go, let's go!" I truly believe that it's... a kid is never too young to learn about abortion."

So he's apparently one of the leftist self-loathing Jews that I've heard about, but couldn't believe that they existed. I cant watch him, ever again.

AND my First Amendment opinion is that people like him are driving this wave of antisemitic violence now. In FACT, you may want to contact Amazon Prime Video and ask that such antisemitic content be removed, because it could be encouraging violence against Jews.
  • It started off ok, thought the comedians had begun to learn something, get back to universal human understandings and the comedy that arises out of those observations, but then it takes a dark turn and you see just how dark the heart of the left has become, that they have become so self unaware that they don't even know to hide it.

but this should have been obvious since Kathy Griffin held up that severed head, "its ok when I do it" said the moralist, 4 years later, nothings changed.
