The story takes place between 1997 and 2017. It tells the story of a strong Hong Kong woman, Tang Meijuan, who struggles with her husband's murder and the near-bankruptcy of her shipyard. With the help of su Zhenhua, a rich family's son, she finally makes a comeback.
