  • Warning: Spoilers
Nothing really happens except the guy going around killing the neighborhood's pets. Other than that, I wanted to like the movie but the story wasn't solid nor interesting enough for me to give it a higher rating. It's probably just me but I didn't get what the purpose or theme of this film was. I gave 5 stars for the time, creativity and energy that went into creating this movie because the creator has skill and potential. This just wasn't it
  • The acting is subpar. the story line is all over the place. Its as if they just shot a bunch of scenes and threw them together and said 'yep that's a movie.' don't watch. I kept waiting for the moment where it all ties together and it never came together.
  • So grateful I came upon this little gem, totally by luck. In a nutshel everthing that a good movie has to give without some absolutely top notch fantastic plot. It is all about character development, each more interesting than the other. So get a beer and enjoy every minute.
  • Warning: Spoilers
The acting and direction are very good, and there may be one or two familiar faces along the way. What stands out the most about this little gem is its realism. You know these people--all of them--from the teenage skaters (one of them a reluctant hero) to the lonely old maid whose just lost her best friend to the pregnant young couple whose male half doesn't want to grow up yet to the second or third generation Korean family to the lonesome elderly Black widower, and everybody in between including the strange late-thirties sociopath who is the focus of this film which does a masterful job of encapsulating a fully nihilistic American once not so long ago caught in the throes of existential crisis.
  • Don't waste your time with this non-movie. I might as well sit on my street and watch the neighbors leave for work, because that's about all that happens here.
  • Do yourself a favour, please don't watch it. It will save you an hour of your life. Ignore the high ratings.

    Warning: Spoilers
Not alot happens in this movie other than someone killing pets in the neighborhood but it somehow manages to be entertaining & not boring. The worst part was when kids in a garage band performed a song that's hard on the ears. With all the thousands of crap movies out there, you could do alot worse than this one.
  • The Dark End of The Street is a film that will remind those who grew up in the suburbs of a simpler time. Told through the lens of multiple characters and families in a small town, the film slowly but surely intertwines each narrative to each other. Never in a forced way, but in a subtle and realistic way. By the end of the film you have a strong sense of each character, regardless of how much screentime they got. Strong debut film, certainly a film maker worth watching.
  • It starts with a tragedy, but it's 'the day in the life' of this neighborhood, a little piece of what's going on, with one thing that's effected everyone. I thought the acting was great and characters were relatable. There was one scene I had to look away, but it didn't end up being as gruesome as I expected. Very low-key, actually kind of sweet movie. Thanks Kevin Tran! Hope to see more from you.

    1/10
    Why
My cat fell asleep, probably more entertaining. The script was messy.
