Liza Weil in Scandal (2012)

Amanda Tanner (Liza Weil)

Amanda Tanner was a former White House intern who claimed she was having an affair with the President of the United States, Fitzgerald (Fitz) Thomas Grant III.

Final Appearance: "Crash and Burn"

Cause of Death: Amanda was abducted from Olivia's apartment and killed by B613 agent, Charlie (George Newbern). It was later revealed Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) hired Charlie to get rid of Amanda.

Brendan Hines in Scandal (2012)

Gideon Wallace (Brendan Hines)

Gideon Wallace was a reporter for the tabloid newspaper, The D.C. Sun, who investigating the Amanda Tanner story, and was also dating Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes).

Final Appearance: "The Trail"

Cause of Death: Stabbed by his previous informant Billy Chambers (Matt Letscher), after Wallace threatened to reveal he was the father of Amanda Tanner's child.

Keiko Agena

Britta Kagen (Keioko Agena)

Britta Kagen worked for Olivia Pope during President Grant's first 100 days in office, and then became the White House Press Secretary.

Final Appearance: "Happy Birthday, Mr. President"

Cause of Death:J Shot during the assassination attempt on President Grant. She died in surgery.

Debra Mooney in Scandal (2012)

Verna Thornton (Debra Mooney)

Verna Thornton was a Supreme Court Justice and primary member of the Defiance cover-up.

Final Appearance: "Nobody Likes Babies"

Cause of Death: Suffocated by President Grant. Her death was later covered up as complications from lung cancer.

Kate Burton and Jack Coleman in Scandal (2012)

Daniel Douglas Langston (Jack Coleman)

Daniel Douglas Langston was married to then Vice President Sally Langston (Kate Burton). While he was supportive of his wife, Daniel spent most of his time out golfing and was known to have a wandering eye.

Final Appearance: "A Door Marked Exit"

Cause of Death: Stabbed to death by his wife.

Dan Bucatinsky, Eric McCandless, The Season, The White House, Stand In, and No One in Scandal (2012)

James Novak (Dan Bucatinsky)

James Novak was the Chief White House Correspondent for The D.C. Times and husband of Cyrus Beene. Along with David Rosen, he was investigating the covert agency B613.

Final Appearance: "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"

Cause of Death: Jake Ballard, who was in command of B613, executed James for his continued investigation into the agency. Novak's death was staged as a carjacking.

Jennifer Peo

Vanessa Chandler (Jennifer Peo)

Vanessa Chandler was the White House Correspondent who broke the story about President Grant having an affair with Olivia Pope and also continued to dig into the truth about B613 and the Defiance scandal.

Final Appearance: "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"

Cause of Death: Vanessa was assassinated by Jake Ballard for getting close to the truth about B613.

Dylan Minnette

Jerry Grant Jr: (Dylan Minnette)

Jerry Grant Jr. was the eldest son of President and Mellie Grant.

Final Appearance: "The Price of Free and Fair Elections"

Cause of Death: He was poisoned by Secret Service Agent and B613 Operative Tom Larsen (Brian Letscher) on orders from the head of B613, Rowan Pope (Joe Morton).

Columbus Short in Scandal (2012)

Harrison Wright (Columbus Short)

Harrison Wright was a Gladiator (one who fought on the side of good) and the a Senior Associate for Olivia Pope and Associates.

Final Appearance: "The Price of Free and Fair Elections"

Cause of Death: After discovering the plot to assassinate the President's son, he was killed by Secret Service Agent and B613 Operative Tom Larsen on the orders of Rowan Pope.

Lena Dunham in Scandal (2012)

Sue Thomas (Lena Dunham)

Sue Thomas was an active member of a kinky dating site, who after she lost job, wrote a manuscript about her many encounters with well known men of Washington, D.C. She threatened to release her manuscript unless she was paid $3 million.

Final Appearance: "It's Good to be Kink"

Cause of Death: Huck (Guillermo Díaz) rescued Sue from a knife attack, then slit her to keep her from releasing the manuscript.

Jason Butler Harner in Scandal (2012)

Ian Woods (Jason Butler Harner)

Ian Woods was a mercenary/gun-for-hire/kidnapper extraordinaire who kidnapped Olivia Pope.

Final Appearance: "Gladiators Don't Run"

Cause of Death: Shot by Gus (Chad Donella) during Olivia Pope's rescue.

Jon Tenney in Scandal (2012)

Andrew Nichols (Jon Tenney)

Andrew Nichols was an old friend of Fitz's and served as Fitz's Lieutenant Governor and then as Vice President of the United States.

Final Appearance: "Thwack!"

Cause of Death: Beaten to death with a chair by Olivia Pope

Barry Bostwick in Scandal (2012)

Jerry Grant (Barry Bostwick)

Fitzgerald Grant II, also known as Jerry, was the father of President Grant.

Final Appearance: "Everything's Coming Up Mellie"

Cause of Death: Although he had a complicated relationship with both Fitz and Mellie, Jerry was one of the few characters who died of natural causes after suffering a heart attack.

Stefanie Black in Scandal (2012)

Holly (Stefanie Black)

Holly was David Rosen's assistant but was revealed to be a rogue B613 agent following Rowan's commands.

Final Appearance: "Honor Thy Father"

Cause of Death: Shot by Jake Ballard after it was revealed she was a covert agent who killed the three B613 Agents they were trying to protect

Brian White in Scandal (2012)

Franklin Russell (Brian White)

Franklin Russell was Olivia Pope's love interest who was revealed to be a B613 agent working for Rowan.

Final Appearance: "Baby It's Cold Outside"

Cause of Death: Assassinated by Jake Ballard.

Ricardo Chavira in Scandal (2012)

Francisco Vargas (Ricardo Chavira)

Francisco Vargas was the elected President of the United States under the guidance of Cyrus Beene.

Final Appearance: "Survival of the Fittest"

Cause of Death: Assassinated by Rowan Pope during his acceptance speech after winning the presidential election.

Jennifer Fields- Scandal

Jennifer Fields (Chelsea Kurtz)

Jennifer Fields worked as the videographer on Frankie Vargas' presidential campaign.

Final Appearance: "Extinction"

Cause of Death: Jennifer was shot by the assassin Meg (Phoebe Neidhardt) under orders from conspirators Samantha Ruland (Zoe Perry) and Theodore Peus (David Warshofsky).

Sandra Potter (Tonya Pinkins)

Sandra was a paleontologist and former girlfriend of Rowan Pope. Rowan and Sandra rekindled their University relationship when she returned to D.C. for a lecture.

Final Appearance: "Extinction"

Cause of Death: Shot by Rowan when she was accused of being his weakness.

Zoe Perry in Scandal (2012)

Samantha Ruland (Zoe Perry)

Samantha Ruland, along with Theodore Peus, manipulated and blackmailed several characters to make sure Frankie Vargas didn't win the Presidential election.

Final Appearance: "Head Games"

Cause of Death: Stabbed in the stomach with a dinosaur tooth by Rowan.

David Warshofsky in Scandal (2012)

Theodore Peus (David Warshofsky)

Theodore Peus worked with Samantha Ruland, through threats and violence to make sure Frankie Vargas didn't win the Presidential election.

Final Appearance: "The Box"

Cause of Death: Shot in the head by Jake Ballard.

Phoebe Neidhardt

Meg (Phoebe Neidhardt)

Meg was Frankie Vargas' campaign statistician and Huck's love interest. She was also revealed to be an assassin who worked with Samantha Ruland.

Final Appearance: "Dead in the Water"

Cause of Death: Tortured to death by Quinn.

Tony Goldwyn and Portia de Rossi in Scandal (2012)

Elizabeth North (Portia de Rossi)

Elizabeth North worked her way up the ranks in the White House, first as the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, then as a political adviser to the First Lady during her senate campaign, and eventually Chief of Staff after Cyrus Beene was fired by the President.

Final Appearance: "Trojan Horse"

Cause of Death: Beaten to death with a golf club by Samantha Ruland when Mellie Grant refused to become President.

Tessie Santiago in Scandal (2012)

Luna Vargas (Tessie Santiago)

Luna Vargas was the widow of the President-Elect of the United States, Francisco Vargas, and was briefly the 50th Vice President of the United States.

Final Appearance: "Transfer of Power"

Cause of Death: Suicide via poisoned pills after Olivia Pope gave her the option of death by poison or a bullet in the head.
