The "Inhumans" are a genetically altered race of superhumans who were once human. They became superhuman millions of years ago as a result of experiments forced upon them by the Kree, an ancient alien race. Later abandoned by the Kree, the Inhumans formed their own society. They discovered that by exposing young Inhumans to Terrigen Mists (a process known as Terrigenesis), they could further enhance their already superhuman abilities. Each Inhuman develops their own unique abilities which they then must learn to control. Their home is the city of Attilan, the location of which has had to change throughout their society's history. The Royal Family is dedicated to protecting Inhumans from outside threats and preserving their history and culture for Inhuman generations to come.

Anson Mount in Inhumans (2017)

Black Bolt is King of the Inhumans.

Black Bolt (Anson Mount) is the head of the Inhumans Royal Family. His signature superpower is a voice so powerful that even the slightest whisper can level a city. His normal voice can cause a disturbance so great, it can destroy planets. He can focus this extraordinary energy and channel it inward to increase his strength and speed or channel it outward in the form of energetic blasts of power. His Master Blow is all of his stored strength blasted into a single energetic punch that can drain him of all of his energy, rendering him temporarily powerless.

Serinda Swan in Inhumans (2017)

Medusa is Queen of the Inhumans

Medusa (Serinda Swan) has known Black Bolt since they were young. As they grew to love each other, they developed a non-verbal form of communication that allowed them to express themselves to one another without Black Bolt having to say a word. Medusa's superpower resides in her signature red prehensile hair, each strand capable of independent movement. She can use her hair to attack her opponent on multiple fronts.

Ken Leung in Inhumans (2017)

Karnak is Black Bolt's trusted advisor.

Karnak (Ken Leung) is a philosopher priest and has the ability to find the main weakness in any person, plan, or object. After his brother, Triton, was irreversibly altered by Terrigenesis, his parents begged that he be allowed to study martial arts instead. His extraordinary skill at martial arts combined with his enhanced Inhuman senses and his ability to identify points of weakness make him a force to be reckoned with.

Eme Ikwuakor in Inhumans (2017)

Gorgon is Black Bolt's brother and the leader of Attilan's military.

In addition to his enhanced Inhuman abilities, exposure to the Terrigen Mists further enhanced Gorgon's strength and endurance. He also developed the legs and hooves of a bull where his own legs and feet once were. He can use the power of his legs and hooves to create powerful seismic waves and trigger earthquakes. Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor) also trains younger Inhumans to help them make the most of their extraordinary powers.

Mike Moh in Inhumans (2017)

Triton is Black Bolt's cousin.

The older brother of Karnak, Triton (Mike Moh) was exposed to the Terrigenic Mists as an infant for an unusually long period of time, making him the most altered of the Inhumans. His parents were so concerned about the effects that the Terrigenesis had on Triton that they convinced the Council of Geneticists to spare Karnak a similar fate. Triton's transformation gave him the ability to breathe under water, while also limiting his ability to breathe on dry land. He uses a special breathing apparatus to survive when he's not under water. He can withstand the cold temperatures and intense pressures of the ocean depths, and demonstrates extraordinary strength and speed when under water.

Isabelle Cornish in Inhumans (2017)

Crystal is Medusa's sister.

Crystal (Isabelle Cornish) has the power to control the four elements: air, earth, fire, and water. Her power is so strong that she can control these elements at the sub-atomic level, making it possible for her to heat or cool the elements in her presence, by instantly freezing water, for example, or igniting oxygen to start fires. Using this power, she can also control the weather in the immediate area and survive in conditions of extreme heat or cold.

Inhumans (2017)

Lockjaw is Crystal's dog.

Lockjaw is Crystal's dog and, by extension, the Royal Family's pet. Due to Lockjaw's terrigenically enchanced powers, he can also teleport. As a teleporter, he's able to help the Royal Family travel to and from Earth and the outer reaches of the galaxy.

Iwan Rheon in Inhumans (2017)

Maximus is Black Bolt's brother, and a challenger to the throne.

Unlike the other Inhumans, Maximus (Iwan Rheon) gained only limited abilities when he was exposed to the Terrigen Mists. He is a genius, and has some ability to control others telepathically. Once he's extended his control, he can use his influence remotely, causing subjects to carry out commands he's embedded in their psyches. His desire for power is stronger than his love for his brother, as is his desire for his brother's wife, Medusa.

Sonya Balmores in Inhumans (2017)

Auran is second in command of the Royal Guards on Attilan.

Auran (Sonya Balmores) is second only to Gorgon in the hierarchy of the Royal Guards. She has parabolic hearing, and is not only able to hear from great distances, but also identify the exact location from which the sound is coming.

Ellen Woglom in Inhumans (2017)

Louise is a human aerospace engineer.

An original character introduced for the television series, Louise is exceptionally intelligent and has a lifelong love for all things having to do with pace and especially everything lunar. Her character has been kept very much under wraps during the development of the show. We look forward to finding out more about how she fits into the "Inhumans" universe!
