Fawlty Towers
(1975)

Brilliant
I consider this series one of the best comedies ever produced! Outstanding humor, exquisite physical comedy. It doesn't get any better than this!

Virus
(1999)

Great F/X but utterly stupid
Were we really supposed to believe that this can really happen? What was Jamie Lee Curtis doing in this movie? This has got to be the miscast role of a lifetime, for her........

Rough Draft
(1998)

Boring....
I thought this was going to be a somewhat decent film about a serial killer and how his/her mind works....YAWN! I couldn't even finish watching the film. It's hard to believe that Gary Busey once was nominated for an Oscar. Now he's doing this garbage.

Twists of Terror
(1997)

Not bad......
I watched this movie, on cable, and have to say that the turns and twists of this trilogy, actually, had me on the edge of my seat. I was impressed how this film, while not an award winner by any means, was able to keep me in suspense. One thing though...I don't understand why they had to keep abusing the dog in the 2nd tale....It was a bit disturbing.......

I Know What You Did Last Summer
(1997)

Is it me?????
I must be getting older. I'm 33 and couldn't relate to ANYONE in this film!! The acting was OK but, come on, it was really cheesy. I'm glad I waited for the video. It was only $1.

There's Something About Mary
(1998)

A funny, original film....
I just saw this film which happens to be in the 8th or 9th week of release. Everyone who has seen it thus far, has recommended it to me. I did not expect to laugh out loud, like I did. The humor was raunchy, but it didn't seem to make a difference, since the whole audience, in the theatre, was laughing along with me. It's rare that you 'connect' with other moviegoer's the way I did while watching this film.

Dirty Work
(1998)

Funny, but no breakthrough
Being a Norm MacDonald fan, from his Saturday Night Live days, I expected to laugh. I did, however, Norm could have done better. I saw this show, after a hard day of work, and saw it with what, seemed to be, a bunch of 12 yr olds...I was the only one laughing out loud...What can I say? I love silly and sometimes stupid movies...It just reinforces my belief that MacDonalds' humor is meant for adults. Who knows? Maybe his next effort will be a little more 'mature'? I did hear, though, that he just signed to do a network series that would premiere in March '99, at the earliest.

Earth vs. the Flying Saucers
(1956)

Great early sci-fi effort
I saw this film on Mystery Science Theatre 3000, on Comedy Central, for the first time and was quite impressed with it. Sure, the special effects were a little cheap, but it made up for that in story. I think it was slightly ahead of its time. Any sci-fi fan should definitely check this one out.......

The Long, Long Trailer
(1954)

A Classic......
What CAN'T you enjoy about this film? If you love Lucy, you love this movie...It captures 50's Americana, like nothing else....
