Brigham City
(2001)

I knew it would be great,Richard Dutcher didn't let me down.
I was so delighted to go see Gods Army. I loved it. I think Brigham City is even better. To be able to go to the theater and see a film about us LDS is wonderful. Its about time. Its been done many times with other religions. Now its our turn. I enjoy movies about other faiths and think many will like seeing flicks about Mormons. Richard Dutcher can do it all. His work is very satisfying. In front of the camera and behind it. And in writing. If he had the funding he could make a better movie then Spielberg.

The Million Dollar Hotel
(2000)

A big disappointment A waste of time and money
I rented this flick without knowing anything about it, except that Mel Gibson was in it. He's the man so it had to be good. Not! It was boring and dumb. I was so disappointed that Mel was in such a film. I ask myself, why would he do such a bad picture? Did he owe someone a favor or what?

Me, Myself & Irene
(2000)

Dumb and Perverted
I was anxious to see this movie. I knew very little about it. I just saw the poster. Boy did I get a surprise. It was so bad We should have walked out. It was extremely brainless and very perverted. The language was atrocious. I was very disappointed in Jim Carrey. I'm wondering if I want to see any more of his films.

Battlefield Earth
(2000)

A big disappointment
I was excited when I heard they made the movie Battlefield Earth. When I saw that it was only 121 min. I was doubtful justice could be done to a book of 1050 pages. I finished the book then rushed to see the movie. I didn't think I would like it because of the length. I was very disappointed. I disliked it more than I thought I would. About the only similarity was the title and some characters names. They took to many liberties with the story. I find that even those who didn't read the book, didn't like it. It should have been a mini series 6 or 8 hours long.

God's Army
(2000)

I'm looking forward to see more movies made by Richard Dutcher.
I and my wife loved this movie. We laughed, we cried it changed our lives. It was real. It's a feel good movie. It accomplished the three things every great movie should have: It taught, It entertained, It edified.
