Period of Adjustment
(1962)

It was a pleasure
This movie was a keeper. I loved the plot and the talented performers. Jim Hutton was one of the finest comedians in Hollywood, I miss him. He was taken from us too early. Hanoi Jane looked magnificent and turned in a fine performance. Lois Nettleton was a bright spot, also.

The Horizontal Lieutenant
(1962)

A fine Movie.
I saw this movie in the early sixties, while serving in the U.S Air Force. It's a little dated now, but back then it was fantastic. We lost Mr. Hutton, in his forties, we will never know what fine work he would have given us. He died too young. Paula Prentiss showed her talent in this fine flick.

Captive Girl
(1950)

One Hoakie Movie!
This is a funny movie that is completely unbelievable. Had I seen this movie in the early fifties, I would have believed it is realistic. It is light entertainment at the most, but the Jungle Girl Anita is one fine "Honey", I think I love her. To my consternation this beauty made only ONE movie. History is abundant with horse faces making multiple flicks, why not a beauty like Anita? Oh well, That's life, but this movie is not about life.

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em
(1973)

What a crazy show!!!!!
I have only been viewing this series for a few weeks. I am addicted to them, They are just crazy, Mad. I thought Peter Sellars was the best comic in the U.K., but Michael is fantastic. Then I found out HE was THE Michael Crawford/Phantom of the Opera STAR. I can't believe the two are the same. We are talking about two ends of the spectrum of talent. I am a fan for life. I am going to scarf up as many videos as I can. Are the Brits just so talented or are they using mirrors or something? What great entertainment!!!!

French Kiss
(1995)

Kevin Kline does it again
Once again Kevin Kline shows his unequaled talent. He should have several Oscars by now, but he makes it look so easy. "Soapdish" and "I love you to Death" are prime examples of comedy at its best. Kevin Kline makes these movies. He is a talent. Sally Field and the others are a comedic force in this wild movie.

The Thomas Crown Affair
(1968)

Wow, who knew the ending
Steve McQueen showed a new wrinkle of his many talents. He had to beg for this role, no one though he could put on a suit. He put the suit on and performed star quality, all through the movie. The beautiful theme song, by Dusty Springfield, is truly memoriable. The ending is an unforgettable scene.

The Draughtsman's Contract
(1982)

Beautiful Photography and scenery!
This film should be seen on a large screen, it is breath-taking. The country side is unbelievable, it's so pretty. The costumes are equally lush, a lot of effort was put into this classic.

The Hunt for Red October
(1990)

A fine movie, Alec Baldwin scores bigtime!
This is a must see type of epic. Alec Baldwin did an admirable performance portraying a hero. You can watch this outstanding story, many times, and gleam new bits of details each time. Tim Curry shows why he is a major talent, also don't forget Sean.

The Mean Season
(1985)

Suspense!
This is one scary movie. Richard Jordan is one of the finest actors ever to grace stage and screen. He died too early, and we were the losers. Jordan's talent makes this movie a TEN.

Temporarily Yours
(1997)

Fantastic Entertainment!
A short lived sit-com that was funny and entertaining. The two stars had a wonderful rapport. Better than Lucy and Ethel could ever dream of. Debi and Joanna are top notch talents and are pretty also.

My Favorite Year
(1982)

Bologna for President
So many good performances in this wonderful movie. The music and photgraphy is excellent. This flick honors the memory and career of the great Sid Caesar. Bologna and O'toole are fantastic.

Moon Over Parador
(1988)

Entertainment par none!
This is one fine movie, I can watch it any time. Rauol Julia gave an outstanding performance, we lost him too soon. Richard Dryfus is a great talent. Only thing it needed more of was Dana Delany, what a babe!

Charley Varrick
(1973)

What a thriller!
This movie has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. Mathou is truly a great actor. We need more like this.

Charade
(1963)

Only about the most fabulous movie!
What an entertaining movie, I loved it. I will always remember seeing it for the first time. As soon as Mancini's theme song began I knew this was going to be a first rate movie. It was better than I could have hoped for. I still love the movie and the song still gives me chills.

Rebecca
(1979)

Daphne, Thank you
This was a four part movie on PBS. I did not care much for fiction at the time, but after the second night, I went out and bought the book so I could find out what the finish was. I watch Rebecca nearly every time it is showing.

Caccia alla volpe
(1966)

What a Fantastic movie
Without a doubt Peter Sellers is the finest of them all, But Victor Mature steals this show. Gina Romantica and cast are so entertaining. I love this movie, we lost Peter too soon. We need him now, what a loss.

Hotel Berlin
(1945)

Sub-plots Abound
Great movie! Andrea King and Faye Emerson fabulous and talented. Very entertaining and historic.
