The President's Analyst
(1967)

Warning, Extreme emergency!
I'm a big James Coburn fan, and this might be his best movie. None of the smugness of Flint, but a bit of the same cool, slick action. Great spoof, nutty attempted special effects (the acid scenes are way cool man)... a great paranoia trip. The X-files way ahead of its time. Strongly recommended.

Roseanna's Grave
(1997)

Enjoyable
I was ready to turn it off but my wife wanted to see it. I'm glad she did. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, touching, funny when it needed to be. And yet another good movie with Jean Reno.

Gymkata
(1985)

Are they serious?
This movie gets my vote for all time worst. Whomever got Kurt Thomas to do this flick must have had an underlying hatred of him... maybe he beat him up as a kid. Totally absurd flick (how DID that pommel horse just happen to show up in the village, and why do all the bad guys walk right into him while he's swinging on it?) with the cheesiest slow-mo scenes ever filmed and dialogue so bad it makes you uncomfortable. The worst of the worst.

Where Eagles Dare
(1968)

Perhaps the best war flick of all time.
The action, scenery, and cast (Burton & Eastwood, what a pair!) all go far in helping you dismiss what is really a far fetched plot, but what a movie! Clearly my favorite war flick of all time, and one of the best in any category. This is one to own.

The Princess Bride
(1987)

Perfection
Everything you could ever want in a movie. Action, romance, drama, absurd dialogue, and a brilliant cast. You can watch this movie alone, with your wife, kids, buddies, neighbors, anyone. It is harmless, yet massively entertaining, with more quotable quotes than any other I've seen. If you don't enjoy this movie then you're "mostly dead".
