Things are tense in the city as politicians and followers come for a sort of dialogue and a festival. Partisanship is in the air. Once candidate seems to be upsetting people the most. She is an attractive woman who has lots of problems.

As the police ready for this event, Maria comes upon an intruder and there is an explosion. She is injured but not killed.

A comedian and his assistant are doing harsh, cynical humor which is getting people riled up. The guy seems to have little respect for those he is lampooning.

As the episode ends, we find that the aforementioned woman is in trouble. But because of the political fervor, it is hard to attach blame, plus the candidate has brought some of this upon herself.
