In the short time since this movie opened, it has become one of my all time favorite films ever. Moulin Rouge is fast, furious, and gorgeous. It will take you from extreme comedy to extreme tragedy and all points in between. Not one member of the cast is lacking. Ewan McGregor is incredible as an actor and a singer. The same is to be said of Nicole Kidman. Jim Broadbent and John Leguizamo also give standout performances. The music is familiar, brand-new and completely brilliant all at the same time. It is said of this movie that you will either love it or hate it. And I agree with that. But I think most people that gave it a real chance loved it. It's an unforgettable movie experience.
