Burnin' Baby
I remember going out to a drive in movie with my parents when I was a 7 year old. I was too young to understand the concept of the film but I do remember a blonde named Susie who had a baby, went horseback riding and almost got killed, and who went crazy a lot. I'll be 54 within the next week from today, but I read a review about the movie on a site called CoolCinematrash.com that helped me understand the movie a lot better than I did then when I was 7. I haven't seen it since then. And I remember the part where the baby picked up the cigarette lighter while his mom Susie (Connie Stevens) was talking to this visiting guy (Troy Donahue), then a minute later I heard the baby crying from the other room and as Susie and the guy ran into that room, the scene of that kid burning on his bed really jolted me out of my back car seat in a horrifying kind of way that my mom and dad had to calm me down. It was a nightmare on the silver screen that I'd never forget to this day. But from the reviews that I've read including the other comments on IMDb, I feel this movie is a must see and should be released on DVD. Hey, Warner Bros! Where are you when we need you? Please release this movie on video. I'd like to see it again.

The Flintstones: Ann-Margrock Presents
(1963)
Episode 1, Season 4

Ann-Margrock Presents-Viva Bedrock!
Best classic Flintstone episode, simply because of Annie. Annie Margrock (that's Ann-Margret to us). The credits deserve a zero-minus (0-) for not just only forgetting to credit her by her name Ann-Margret in the credits, but not crediting her as "Special Guest Star: ANN-MARGRET as Ann-Margrock" Her animation wasn't bad at all, in fact Ann's animated stone-age image was beautiful, and her voice, I could picture her own live action self in every scene she was in as Ann-Margrock, especially with her singing two beautiful hits such as "My Littlest Lamb is Asleep" & "I Love You, But I Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool!" This episode is quite an entertainer whether you're a fan of Ann-Margret, Flinstones, or if you're like me, an Elvis Presley fan who digs Ann-Margret and remembers her in her role of Rusty Stevens in Elvis & Ann's famous MGM movie from 1964, "Viva Las Vegas". Why was she not credited in the credits? But as long as you and I know that that really WAS Ann-Margret using her voice and being practically herself in that episode, that alone is credit enough.

A Man Called Sledge
(1970)

Other Men's Gold (Lyrics)
I like the song sung in this movie so much that I will share the lyrics with all who might like to learn the song. Here goes.

Come listen here to my story which must be told. Of how men fought and died but not for glory, only for gold. Gold was their god, gold was their guide, For it they lived, for it they lied, And my friends, for gold they died.

Seven men dreamed of holding fortunes in gold, Gold that would make them rich until they grew old. Dreams of the thrill, as they feel their dust spill, through their fingertips, And they laugh at the curse that follows other men's gold.

Remember man, you are dust, and to dust you'll return. If you sell out your soul, then in Hell you will burn. Think of what you've been told, 'bout worshiping gold. And take care my friend, You must beware... of the curse that follows other men's gold.

Seven men gambled on the turn of a card, gambling their gold away and losing came hard. They weren't satisfied until 6 of them died, only one man lived... to tell the tale of the curse that follows other men's gold.

Remember man, you are dust, and to dust you'll return. If you sell out your soul, then in Hell you will burn. Think of what you've been told, 'bout worshiping gold. And take care my friend, You must beware... of the curse that follows other men's gold.

Remember man, you are dust, and to dust you'll return. If you sell out your soul, then in Hell you will burn. Think of what you've been told, 'bout worshiping gold. And take care my friend, You must beware... of the curse that follows other men's gold.

Broken Arrow
(1956)

The Breaking of the Arrow
I don't remember watching a single episode all the way through each program but I do remember in the opening of the series I'd see somebody breaking an arrow, when I was a youngster and whenever I saw my Grandpa Tony breaking a pound of spaghetti in half before putting it in the pot of boiling water it would remind me of the opening to the show Broken Arrow and I'd say, "BROKEN ARROW". Grandpa would say, "Yes! Broken Arrow!" I'm sure it was a pretty good show. I'm surprised that they don't show old reruns of it on TV as they do with Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Could it be available on VHS or DVD? If anybody knows, please do tell me and I'll be very much obliged. But this evening I was cooking spaghetti for dinner tonight and just like my Grandpa I broke the whole pound of spaghetti strands in half and I murmured, "BROKEN ARROW!"

Roustabout
(1964)

An all WESTERN-STAR cast!
It has Victoria Barkley (Barbara Stanwyck) from The Big Valley, Big John Cannon (Leif Erickson) from The High Chaparral, Wilbur Jonas (Dabbs Greer), the general store owner from Gunsmoke, Pat Buttram who was Gene Autry's sidekick from his western TV series, and Joan Freeman who played Cathy Lean did a guest role on Gunsmoke as a kidnapped girl named Annie Shields. Sue Ane Langdon who played Madame Mijanou, Fortune Teller was in one western movie that I can name, "The Cheyenne Social Club". Elvis of course was quite a western actor himself in such movies as "Love Me Tender", "Flaming Star" and "Charro". This is all just a point that I'm making. Elvis was born to be a cowboy actor as well as a singer. He wasn't only King of Rock and Roll, he was also another King of the Cowboys, as was Roy Rogers, and Gene Autry.

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning
(1985)

Suzanne Bateman/Nurse Yates and Her Long Red Fingernails
I gave the brunette nurse in white, a perfect 10 for her red fingernails. I love seeing women wear red nail polish on their long fingernails. I'm glad she was not one of the victims killed by Jason but I'm sorry she didn't get longer parts. Suzanne Bateman had one of the prettiest manicures I've even seen on film and in real life. It's too bad she has not had much of a TV or movie career. And most unfortunately I cannot find any photographs of Suzanne Bateman anywhere on the internet. Suzanne Bateman is a very gorgeous girl. I think so, It is based on that part in the movie after Jason was finally destroyed, when she was standing in the hospital room filing her red glossy fingernails. It's the very first part of her that you'll see when you watch Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Oh I was so impressed!

Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck
(2002)

I Just Love the Remake of this Game
The Big Bank gives contestants a chance to retrieve all that was lost to the whammy in previous spins! The whammies are now 3 dimensional and more entertaining. I remember on the original show, when the pizza making whammy twirled the dough, tossed it in the air and it fell on his face. Now the 3D whammy does just about the same thing, only this time the flat wad of dough lands on the contestant's face instead. I kinda like the one who shreds the documents and the scraps fly all over the contestant. It's just so funny. (No offense to the contestant.) I like being able to play on line interactive as I watch the show on GSN and the GSN site has a fun Whammy game called Whammy Plus where you can get the feel of the game. Peter Tomarken was not bad at all as the host of the old show but I think the new emcee Todd Newton is cool! I hope this show and interactive game runs for a very long time!

Change of Habit
(1969)

Lorena Kirk
This little girl played an excellent role of an autistic child in the movie. I am very surprised that she hasn't acted in other movies or any TV programs. She was cute and kinda funny when nurse Michelle (Mary Tyler Moore) was giving her a block test and she throws one of the blocks towards Dr. Carpenter (Elvis).

Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt
(2003)

Will this movie have a sequel?
I enjoyed every minute of this movie and seeing how Adam and Burt both formed the dynamic duo us batfans grew to love. Since some actors and actresses were lacked in this movie such as Yvonne Craig (Barbara Gordon/Batgirl) and Eartha Kitt (Catwoman), maybe there ought to be a sequel to follow with Adam and Burt on pursuit of that supposed orphan who stole the batmobile again at the end of this movie. And add the characters of Alan Napier, Neil Hamilton, Madge Blake and Stafford Repp. (Alfred, Commissioner Gordon, Aunt Harriet, and Chief O'Hara) I'm just wondering what seeing them back then as we did in Adam and Burt portrayed by Jack and Jason would be like. Anyway I give this film an A+.

Batman
(1966)

WANTED: VIDEO OF BATMAN SERIES
It comes on everyday at 4 AM on TV Land. But they cut out too much footage just to make time for commercials. It isn't as fun watching it with parts cut out as it would be to watch Batman in it's full entirety. So I ask all my fellow Bat-Fans, why don't we make a unanimous quest for all 120 episodes of Batman to be released on video?!!!

Rango
(1967)

Rango, Rango! Where are you? Come back, Rango!
I remember when I was a youngster I saw this show and I thought it was pretty funny. Maybe not high in ratings but I think this deserves a chance. Is there any way that it can be released on video or shown on TV land sometime?

Speedway
(1968)

Bring your groovy selves on home and let yourselves go!
Everything about "Speedway" is as groovy as Elvis always performs. I just love the way Nancy Sinatra performed the song "Your Groovy Self" and the way she moved around as she sang. Nancy's really hot! Bill Bixby was quite hilarious. Elvis' song "Let Yourself Go" is super cool. The scene where Elvis sang "Your Time Hasn't Come Yet, Baby" to the little girl was kind of cute. And the sounds of those roaring engines in the race were very much electrifying. Some of the plots really did show off Elvis' real-life self as the generous and giving person he was. He buys for a friend and his 5 little girls a brand new station wagon, also helps out a troubled waitress with her upcoming wedding. Unfortunately Bixby's character messes everything up for Steve Grayson (Elvis), by betting Steve's money on the horses, instead of paying for those things Elvis bought for his friends, and besides makes an outrageous tax claim form for Steve, with deductions such as perfumed record albums and $4000 for air? Oh yes! Lucille Ball's "Mr. Mooney" was kinda funny too and was excellent for the role of the head IRS agent R.W. Hepworth. When I first saw this movie in the theater I cracked up at the "He's Your Uncle, Not Your Dad!" sequence. It was funny it was cool. Just everything about "Speedway" is superbly exciting. But what else could you expect out of a movie that stars the king of rock and roll! And lets not forget Nancy Sinatra who is more than just the icing on that cake. It's not everyday you see such a gorgeous tax collector. I give this film a perfect A+. It's just loaded with the stuff! "Speedway" is an honest to goodness must see.

Clambake
(1967)

Not a bad movie at all!
I've read all those negative comments about "Clambake" from the other users here, and I fail to understand what they're all talking about. Maybe it's not rated the best but I think "Clambake" is Cool with a capital C. Elvis portrays an oil heir that's had a belly full of false friends apparently just because he's rich or actually it's his dad Duster Heyward that's the actual tycoon. His son Scott (Elvis) is offered the opportunity to change places with a buddy he meets at a hamburger stand, who notices the attention Scott gets from a girl, once she sees his shiny red convertible. Scott explains to Tom why this is the problem he's having, "I'd like to know it's myself! Not my car, not my money" Tom tells Scott "That's the kind of problem I'd like to have. So anytime you want to switch places just say the word!" Apparently Scott does say the word then Scott becomes "Tom Wilson" and Tom becomes "Scott Heyward. Then it's off to the hotel where "Tom" meets Diane (Shelley Fabares) and asks "Tom" to give her a ski lesson so she could meet the famous boat racer and tycoon James J. Jamison III (Bill Bixby) who "Tom" competes with for Diane Carter. In the end "Tom Wilson" (the King) creates a formula to keep the critical boat sturdy which he races in, wins the race (hopefully), and of course what Elvis does in most every other movie, wins the girl. The plot is great and the cast and crew are all magnificent. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 9.9.

Make a Face
(1961)

I remember watching this game show when I was an 8 year old kid
It was so funny, it cracked me up the way some of the wrong face combinations were formed. Contestants would pick 3 numbers corresponding the upper, middle, and bottom facial part. A contestant who makes a perfect face forming the correct picture in the category wins the point. I wish this old obscure TV game show could be revived.

Live a Little, Love a Little
(1968)

A Little Less Conversation
This soundtrack "A Little Less Conversation" from the movie is nowdays very popular in 2002 with Elvis' remix with David Holmes. It was one cool song he sang in the movie, the other one I think that's also cool is "Edge Of Reality". Those song sequences from the movie would look great in any music video on MTV, VH-1 or whatever. Just because of "A Little Less Conversation" it's keeping Elvis on the top charts as it has for 4 consecutive weeks. The movie is pretty awesome too. A must see for all Elvis fans and movie lovers.

Kid Galahad
(1962)

One of Elvis' most mellower movies
This is about one of the coolest and mellowest movies Elvis Presley ever made. The music that Elvis performs is as mellow as the background music in the movie. It's packed with love, romance, and action. 3 important elements that makes a real good Elvis movie. I'm watching it right now and I just saw the part where Elvis polishes of the two hooldlums that busted Charles Bronson's hands. Now Galahad (Elvis) is up for the big fight of the season against Sugar Boy Romero. Who do you think shall win? I can only hope Elvis Galahad does.

Teenagers from Outer Space
(1959)

Skeletonized
I've seen this movie about 3 or 4 times in my life. Last time I saw it was on MST3K about 8 years ago, but I first saw it twice on a late afternoon TV cinema when I was 13. A band of alien teenagers invade our earth to use it for grazing those giant lobster-like "Gargons". A little dog gets zapped into doggie bones just for barking at the curious strangers who landed in that field. Derek is devastated by Thor's first employment of that disintegrator as he looks through the remains of Sparky. Unwilling to be part of the team and plans to invade earth to use it, Derek escapes and wanders off into the suburbs but before he runs off he picks up Sparky's collar and tag and looks up the owner who's a young cute and nice brunette, she was looking for her dog for 20 minutes since she put his breakfast out for him. Thor chases after Derek, hitches a ride with a man who stops at a gas station where Derek happened to stop to seek the address on Sparky's collar. The young gas station attendant recognizes Thor wearing the same uniform he saw Derek wear, asks about it, suddenly Thor reckons Derek was there, angrily pumps the attendant for Derek's whereabouts, the car driver thinking his hitchhiker is nuts starts to take off but before he can accelerate gets zapped into bones then Thor turns to the terrified attendant and skeletonizes him too. Along the way Thor commits a trail of devastating bizarre murders, a young blonde in a swimming pool, a college professor and a couple of plain clothes cops in a battle. Finally gets wounded by one of the officers' bullets, sneaks away then traps Derek and his new earth girlfriend and persuades them to take Thor to a clinic to fix him up. Thor and his focusing disintegrater is just as treacherous as if not more than those Gargons the aliens plan to graze on our earth. I"d like to see the movie again even if I have to rent or buy the video to see it. It aint such a bad flick for a B-Graded movie.
