Signs
(2002)

Opinion
I liked the somewhat creepy aspect of the movie and it seemed to be more original than what most of hollywood is throwing our way these days. I didn't like the fact that the whole family seemed to be a bunch of manic depressants even before they discovered the terrible truth. If I was Mel's wife, I wouldve been happy to get rundown just to get away from his mono-tone mood and blahness. And whats wrong with that kid.. Eesh, just buy her Evian bottled water and give her a spanking. Problem Solved. I dunno. And you're not supposed to take asthma rescue medication every 3 minutes. Is there no doctor in that town? That kid should've been on a steroid puffer instead of getting high off his ventolin all the time. Then maybe he wouldnt have had that ashthma attack at the wrong time. Way to go dad. Nice research into your kids disease. I give this movie a shammy D- for effort.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy Shamsta!

The Fast and the Furious
(2001)

Punk ass kids with their punk ass cars
This movie is basically a 21st century "Nomans Land (1987)" .. The plot for Nomans Land is:

"A rookie cop goes undercover and infultrates a car thief ring"

The plot for this movie is:

"Undercover cops infiltrate Los Angeles street racers to bust a hijacking ring"

Look Similar??? My Suggestion: get both movies, watch them and see which decade you prefer.

Dazed and Confused
(1993)

Where's the point?
This movie had absolutely no point. No plot, no climax.. A buncha kids get out of school and go to a party and do a lot of drinking and drugs. Flat liner from beginning to end. Good depiction of the 70's.

Hackers
(1995)

blah!
i'd love a robotron o/s where i could nuke viruses with my super charged photon torpedo's with angelina jolie gawking at me while i nuke those worms and rabbits and gawk back at angela's chest.. question: if he was such a great hacker, why didn't he just hack his 5 million into his bankaccount himself? LARA CROFT RULES! USA AOK

Boiler Room
(2000)

if oliver was dead, he'd be turning in his grave
This movie rips off a lot from Wall Street (1987), from lines like: "That suit is dog s**t, get a new suit" and "you wear a suit everyday to the office right? you're a broker".. It's not bad for a laugh as long as you refresh yourself with the original Wall Street afterwards.

Charlotte's Web
(1973)

Babe avoids the frying pan
Plot Summary: Talking pig avoids the frying pan by teaming up with a Spider who makes special designs in her web convincing the farmer he is a special pig, resulting in a saved pig while year after year he see's his friend pigs being slaughtered. Ultimately, I'm sure he wish he died.

Effect of movie on viewing public: leaves you hankering a BLT.

Joke to play on kid: The next time you give your kids breakfast, for a laugh, wait until they finish eating their bacon then say: "You just ate Wilbur, you know." Fun for the whole family.
