Cabin Fever
(2002)

It's About time!
BEWARE SOME SPOILERS

This movie was pretty gory. I liked how it wasn't hyped like most of the movies. And I didn't even know what it was about. I thought it was going to be a typical in the woods serial killer and had no idea about it being about a virus. That makes all the more creepier and more gruesome. I just don't understand why they didn't shoot Grim's dog the first time it came back and tried to attack them. Although it wouldn't matter because they all had the disease by then in the first place. I like the hill billy guy in the store before they leave. The one that looks like Santa Claus. Also what was up with that kid Pancakes? I didn't get that part. But it ended pretty cool and I think they could get away with making a sequel and it might be worth watching. I like diseas movies and all that and it gave the the creeps the part when the girl was in the bathtub shaving her legs. That was pretty bloody. This is the best HORROR movie beside House of 1000 Corspes and that is in a different range of horror. I give it a 10 for have it's own fresh ideas and all the blood was pretty good. The actors did just fine to me. Keep up the Great work Eli Roth! You are superb.

Stir of Echoes
(1999)

Really Good movie.
When I first watched this movie, I borrowed it from a friend and after I watched it I had to go buy the DVD. I thought that the acting was great and the movie kept me on the edge of my seat. I especially liked the hypnotizing scenes, how it got the audience to feel and see what he was doing...It was completely scary to me, until I found out that the ghost wasn't there to hurt anyone but to try and get their help. It was kind of like the Sixth Sense, but not as dull and slow. I personally thought Kevin Bacon did a great job, I like most of his movies...I gave this a 10 because I'm just a type of person that likes these types of movies, and it really freaked me out a lot. Anyhow if you like good ghost stories this is the one for me. It was sad at the end when you actually find out about what happened to the ghost. Check it out though you won't be disappointed.

The Amityville Horror
(1979)

When I read the book I was scared, and the movie was pretty scary too.
When I first read Jay Ansen's book about this house in Amityville that was haunted I was pretty freaked out. Then I found out that the book was a hoax for money and fame and now it's just a movie for chill's and kicks. I still like the book, it doesn't scare me like it used to, but it's still pretty scary for horror flicks...the goo on the stairs, the dog digging at the cellar wall, and the flys and the preacher. It was pretty good and spooky in it's own way, I liked this one out of all the rest of the Amityvilles, because they just turned the actual storyline around and went into Hollywood fame. I did like the Amityville about the Dollhouse that one was pretty good. The actors were good in this one, the dad was frightening with the axe and the children were cute, they didnt' go into much detail about the make-believe pig, Jody. I guess that was the glowing red eyes you see in the window...Anyhow I give it a 71/2 out of 10, maybe just because I've seen it a lot more times, because that is all they play on basic cable where I'm from. I have it dubbed too. Anyhow good movie if you haven't seen it, it will scare the younger generation that's for sure.

Red Dragon
(2002)

Really Good Movie!!!
I liked the movie first of all, it was pretty close to the actuall book. The ending was slightly different, but didn't change to the extreme like Hanibal did. The actors, Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton played great parts in this movie. It isn't really about Hanibal, besides him helping the detective on a seriel killer case. The Red Dragon was incredibly powerful in his character role, but as you learn more about him it makes you pity him. Not at all like Verger on Hanibal. The killer in this movie has his unique way of slaughtering people. But you don't feel sorry for him in the same way as you do Verger. I thought Red Dragon gave an excellent performance and I gave it a 10 because it was so close to the actual story line. I give it 2 thumbs up. I recommend you all to see this movie, if you are a fan of the Haniabal triology.

Hannibal
(2001)

Very Grotesque...
Guarentee that this movie will leave you with tremendous head aching...It was a great movie and great acting...This movie is much gorier than the first. It is about Hanibal more than the first one also. IF you want to see lots of blood, guts, and other gross features watch this one...but be prepared to feel sickened as how could someone do this? I liked the movie and it was very scary indeed...it wasn't like all them other slasher horror movies because after all it is just a man doing the killing not a monster/vampire alien or a guy in a hockey mask. But a true man (in the flesh) Anthony Hopkins is wonderful and brilliant. This movie is deffinetly rated a 10 in my book. If you liked the first one, then you will deffinetly like this one and if you like blood and guts you'll like it. This movie stook out more than the others because this could really happen and that is why it is realistic and very disturbing to watch some scenes. My face hurts just thinking about it. This is the first real horror movie that has satisfied me in years...Thumbs up!!!

Night Visions
(2001)

Great New TV series...
This is a great tv series, Night Visions, is like two great shows from the past...The Twilight Zone, and Most Famous Tales From the Crypt...their strange stories and with strange plots. I love watching this show, and have taped every episode except for the first two I missed. :( My favorites so far are - "Dead Air", "A View Through the Window", "Now He's Coming Up the Stairs", "If A Tree Falls", "Neighborhood Watch", "Bitter Harvest", "My So Called Life & Death", and "The Doghouse". I can't wait for next Thursday's show. This is deffinetly worth a hour out of your time. With cast stars and great turn of events. I really hope they don't take this one off the air in 2 months. I like it, and I sure hope they come up with a second season, because I will be sure to tune in, and keep taping them. Night Visions, you have a true fan now! :)

The Fear Inside
(1992)

Very Crazy Movie!!!
This is a movie about Fears, Merideth is a agroaphobic...I guess that means she is afraid to go outdoors of her own house. So she is like a prison...and two people claiming to be brother and sister movie into her extra guest bedroom, for a little extra money. Janie comes along-claims to be a vet and Pete her supposedly brother a cop...These actors are very talented as they go from nice to psycho after Merideth catches them having sex out doors in the pool...she finds this strange, for being brother and sister so she goes and tries to search the bedroom for an idenity. She finds a womans finger with a ring on it...Pet sees a light come on and knows something is up. Merideth plays it out, until he catches her calling 911. I love the scenes when, Pete & Merideth are kissing and making out the first time...and how Janie gets jealous it is awesome and the part when Merideth convinces Pete that Janie is trying to steal the ring and that she wants him and he wants her...and they are making out about to do it, when Janie comes Slashing him on the back with a butcher knife calling him a traitor...Best performances I've seen in a movie for a while...Plus Dylan McDermott is FINE, His body is mmm mmm good :) and he has the most adorable eyes and eyebrows. I give this movie a 10 for sure.

The Shining
(1980)

Tv-series/movie
I liked the The Shining Movie, I believe I watched that show when I was a kid...about 4 years old for the matter. I loved the actors/actresses in the movie, but after I read the book, I thought to myself why did edit the movie so short...why was everything so different. Then I watched the Tv series that was on ABC I think. It made a whole lot of more sense than the Original movie did. Don't get me wrong the movie was still the best, but if you liked the movie (I Did) then you'll love the Tv series even better. SPOILERS AHEAD-TV SERIES!!! In the movie-it had a Labrynth in it, and in the book it wasn't a labrynth it was hedge animals that came to live. The relationship of Jack and Wendy were more explained about the abuse and the drinking....Wendy had blonde hair in the book and tv show, in the movie Shelly Devull of course didn't...even though that is a minor part of it. Danny was more powerful, as he could get a hold of Dick Haloran by contacting through his thoughts...the movie didn't show that well enough the tv show did, infact so that Dick had bloody noses and almost falling over with a heart-attack in a store...1000 of miles away. Dick did not die of course in the book, and the show carried that out as well. (Which I liked Dick, I was glad he didn't die) In the book it mentioned Jack had to dump the boiler before it got too full or the hotel would explode...the movie didn't mention nothing about a boiler. Danny-having his episodes where he sees Tony, in the series it shows more details on Tony, that he can show the boy the future. Also in the book Jack chews on asprin for his frequent migraines...they did so in the series...they left so much out of the Original movie, it just sucked. I wish they would of had Jack Nicholson in the Mini Series though, because he made a better psycho than the other guy did...Well there are numerous other things I probably didn't mention but I could go on. If you haven't read the book, I would if I were you. Then watch the televison series...you'll be much happier with the ending I am gaurenteed, you will also be spooked out of your whits...lol

Beverly Hills, 90210
(1990)

The best show ever!!!
90210 was definetly the best show ever, I watched this show since I can remember (1990) I was 11 years old when the show first aired. So what if I wasn't in High-School yet, it sure made a big impact on my life. The characters were like my new best friends that I watched every week on FOX...I loved this show, because it moved faster than any daytime soap opera. The actors/actresses were actually good, they seemed so real. I liked how the show developed and how the characters interacted with each other. I loved all the seasons, I missed Brandon and Andrea when they left, but by that time, Donna & David were basically the stars of the show. I think if they would of had a way to bring Brandon back for a 11th season then the show would still be running to this day, but Jason Priestley had future plans...so they brought back Dylan (Luke Perry), because it seemed they needed more viewers and Dylan probably did that, but without the originals aka the Walshes the show didn't get enough viewers to pay for the show. I will always treasure this show as long as I live. I have almost every episode on tape...a few missing. I was taping the ones I missed off of FX, but then my cable got shut off so now I am back to watching the ones I have on tape. :( I wish they aired re-runs of this show on a regular tv channel. I think they would get a lot of people to tune in. I agree with pretty much everyone on this message board about the show. It was the best 1-8 and then did change quite a lot after Brandon & Val left. I loved those two characters/actors...they were great. But I still loved Gina and Dylan and Noah and Matt. I loved the new additions to the show, so I watched it until the end. You can say I am a devoted fan to this show, and if they ever decided to work with Aaron Spelling again, I will be sure to tune into it too. Thanks 90210 for a wonderful 10 years...I'll Miss You all!!! :)
