I agree with Baker's review. The story has no logic. For instance, the lawyer has a tough case,

and he needs help. A beautiful and talented woman comes to him

and offers her help. For free. And he refuses! No reason given.

Gimme a break.

A very enjoyable action comedy, if you don't expect genius.

And Emma Sjöberg, who plays Emma, is hot beyond belief. Tall, blonde, gorgeous, and athletic. Why has she not been in more movies? Casting directors worldwide, are you asleep?

"20 Dates" had a few very funny moments, and some promising developments, but also very uneven, and lacked the talent it takes to make a good mockumentary. It is a pity that Tia Carrere agreed to appear in the film (rather briefly), because it lends it an appearance of class that it does not deserve.

I think this movie is excellent, and unique for one thing especially: The character Michael and the way Travolta plays him.

The director chose him because he was the only actor she could think of who could be both innocent and powerful.

And he does that in spades.

I think the character of Michael is very unique, and one we could learn a lot from. He is damn charming, and has a wonderful attitude to life.

Besides that, the film is really funny often.
