When first I read the title, I thought this was just a cowboy and Indian movie. But I was wrong. There I was deeply entertained as it has excellent story line, elegant dialogue, and characters, and cinematography, I must say this is much better than Thor, or even Avatar. And film has done a truly brilliant job visualizing the Mars planet and its inhabitant in realistic manner. It is because the casting were mostly done in bright dessert, so everything and every characters had be to shown clearly, whereas in Avatar, the characters were in dark dense forest most of the time, so the details were not so clear. I hope they would create John Carter 2, and I also hope they don't change the characters especially the main ones Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins, as the romance between the two was so elegant and mesmerizing.

This is one great beautifully crafted movie about a true story of Yang family. The carelessness of one son can draw the whole family into trouble. And winning many wars does not only mean that you become the hero of a nation, but also mean that you become the most wanted enemy of the other nation.

Yang General has been known in Chinese history to have remarkable tactics and bravery in battles. On the other hand, Pan Mei General who did not help Yang General in the battle because of his personal issue with Yang family, remain to have bad name until today. He was in fact demoted by 3 ranks for contributing the death of General Yang.

I went to watch this movie with my husband and my little son. I thought this movie would be a real entertainment for me and my boy. But no longer after watching it, I felt disappointed. And my little son had no interest to watch it. The movie animation is of course very good. But the story is very boring and slow. It only tells about the wall-e and how wall-e want to be with eve. Well yes, there is a good hidden message behind this all, that human should start stop dumping too many garbage into the earth because earth would one time reach a very high toxic level that can not be tolerate by human body any more. That's why there is wall-e who has the job to tidy the garbage and make it into a tower of garbage boxes.

The sound of eve calling wall-e ... wall-e ... wall-e all the time in this movie is also quite annoying. The robots have no other words to speak instead of calling the friend names. This is absolutely a boring movie.
