This short film is such a gem! I watched it at the HBO Women in Comedy Festival and I absolutely loved it. It was a sweet, funny and relatable story. The main character was very endearing. The world that was created felt both nostalgic of a bygone era, and magical at the same time. I hope this gets made into a feature. It left me wanting to know more about these characters. Really liked the directing. The pacing was slow and steady in the beginning which helped create a magical relaxing environment which was then juxtaposed when the mother comes home and everything happens very fast.
