The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy
(2024)

Morning Train by Sheena Easton
S1, E6, 11:20, the music playing is Morning Train by Sheena Easton and I don't see credit given to her or the writer. I was just wondering if it was overlooked. I don't know why I'm watching this series, just to pass time. I'm not really interested, but I did notice this and thought someone should say something.

I have nothing else to say about this movie except that my husband won't be in the room while it's on. It makes absolutely no sense at all, only to tell a story about people who have no type of parts or human traits or even animal. They aren't really people-, animal-, or plant- based bodies, so how do you relate?

White Christmas
(1954)

One of the best movies ever!
One of the best Christmas movies ever released! Great cast, music, dance, and a great storyline. I don't know if it's a spinoff from Holiday Inn, but they are both similar, with some of the same cast and music set 12 years apart.

Very typical of show business people sadly deserting, changing, or leaving partners without notice and hurting each other only to forgive them as though nothing happened. For a Christmas story, it amazingly plays well. The snow showing up on Christmas eve was an important part of the movie, but it wasn't as important as the movie made it out to be except to the title song. Still, they don't make good Christmas movies like this anymore or good movies at all! It would be nice if someone designed a new movie around a good movie like this, in order to produce a real, well-produced movie again for a new America without good productions.

The Days of Noah Part 3: The Valley of Decision
(2019)

I agree about the Catholic Church but fanatical about sabbath
I agree about the Catholic Church but you're fanatical about sabbath. First, the sabbath is the day of rest, not the day of worship. We worship in everything we do, every day of the week! Even Jesus protested the Jewish fanatics over putting the law above God. You would probably leave people behind if they don't believe like you do too? What's important is to accept Jesus as savior, ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and repent. He will then show you the truth if you seek Him with your whole heart. He washed away all sin on the cross so the only laws left to obey are to love our Father with all our heart and love our neighbor as ourselves. You have some good information, but seem too obsessed with small, unimportant laws.

On a Wing and a Prayer
(2023)

I couldn't finish this
I have to admit I couldn't finish this movie. I'm so tired of hearing people blame God for, in this case "taking another one." I've lost my mother, father, sister, brother, best friend, and many other friends, all in the span of about 10 years, but most of them are now blessed to be with my Lord. So the only thing I can be angry about is that I'm still here.

After seeing the previews, I thought this was going to be an uplifting movie of faith and hope. Disappointed to find it's based on "God should do what we want without consequences" as so many others uneducated in Christ.

Hollywood has gotten so lazy, they don't even do their jobs in research anymore. Just throw together a new script of words that worked before, with new characters that people might like and a new twist. The age difference between the husband and wife is so great, Quaid could be his wife's grandfather.

I gave this a five, but I was being generous.

Merlin
(2008)

Great rendition and acting
Slow to start but it's worth the wait. The main character, Merlin, I thought at first didn't fit. But, he's perfect for the role and nobody else would be right in it. He brings an animation to the character that makes the character zing. Arthur, Gaius, Uther, Gwaine, Morgana, the casting is almost perfect. There's only on character that stands out like a sore thumb - Gwen. Why would they choose someone so unattractive to play a part that at least three men are drooling over?

I would have liked to see the story go on longer with more enemies than just Morgana and Arthur living to be a ripe old age. Maybe you can bring it back, who knows? Very few series I will watch over and over, but this one never bores.

Marketing the Messiah
(2020)

Cast never read the Bible!
These people do not speak with authority because they don't know the Bible.

It went from okay to terrible as they continued speaking. I thought this would be an interesting show, stating what might encourage people to buy into Christianity but it was more what would make anyone NOT listen to anyone speak about Christ.

They made a mockery of faith, lumping it in with all cults and other false religions. They speak as though they read the Bible but said that Paul never acknowledged Jesus or His miracles when he risked his life constantly at the temple, in front of thousands exposing himself as human and saying he is only man but that Jesus whom they crucified is the one who performed this miracle of healing the cripple sitting at the temple, which landed him in prison. From there, he remained in different jails, transferred many times, where he wrote many of his letters.

News of the World
(2020)

My gosh is this slow!
The only thing worse than watching this movie is probably working on the set. All of Tom Hanks recent movies have dragged on and taken forever to get to the point. This one is probably one of the worst. At least there's no soccer ball on the cast!

The only way I could make it to the end was to ffw past the redundant parts. Not enough to say about it to use up the words. Lots of horses, dust, way too many tragedies for one person to experience on a trip this short. He wasted bullets when he only had 20!? Writers just aren't creative anymore, producers don't bother to think. Nothing is unpredictable!

The Living Bible
(1952)

Too much banter & loud music
Most of this is great, but I can't hear the important part over the loud, staccato piano parts playing in the background? (foreground). Dialogue is too improvised, so it's hard to follow when I have a hearing problem, the accents are pronounced and voices whispered, dialogue uncertain and unnecessary. The Word is really all that's needed. That part is great! Constant piano is just distracting, especially the choice of music.

However, I have to say that without the Dove Channel, I wouldn't be able to complain. I love having this show to choose! I had been looking for more Bible dramas since I have ADHD and I can't read for very long without getting too distracted and I don't even notice it for a long time. Thank you for producing this show! I would love more shows produced of each book.

I Don't Know How She Does It
(2011)

More disappointed in the sponsorship
I started watching this movie and got about 20 minutes into it. That was hard enough, with the acting and fast talking that I couldn't follow, but when it was sponsored by the HIV drug that goes on with too much visual sexual content that we just don't want to watch, I couldn't take another minute of it. Money from sick sponsors is not worth the price if it will interfere with the possibility of making a show appear any better. Not that it was getting there yet.

It was a poor portrayal of working parents in general and when they portrayed the single mom the way they did, it was a terrible insult! They needed to interview real people to get a feel for the real thing before taking characters and totally botching their reality.

The Gospel of Luke
(2015)

So Real, Felt I could've been Mary or Joanna
Makes me feel like I'm living back with Jesus. The lines are straight from the Bible, spoken in Arabic but translated in English (or whatever language the viewer needs), so far all of the first four gospels are done well like this one.

I watch these daily as I would the Bible because my eye problem makes it hard for me to read extended times. I can follow my Lord easily through your portrayals and have learned so much more of Him since I have been able to follow these. God bless your production teams for putting the time and efforts into these! I wish I knew of a way to invest in your making more of the books you haven't done.

Your actors are very good, Jesus looks like the image in the shroud of Turin. But not just him, all the actors are well chosen & seem just as one would expect to find in Israel at this time after living under such conditions at the time. The direction, costuming, location, extras, & voiceovers are all perfectly done for the purpose!

The Gospel of John
(2014)

Very Much Life-like
This makes me feel like I'm living back in Jesus' days. The lines are straight from the Bible, NIV I believe, spoken in Arabic but translated in English (or whatever language the viewer needs), so far all of the first four gospels are done well like this one.

I watch these daily as I would the Bible because my eye problem makes it hard for me to read extended times. I can follow my Lord easily through your portrayals and have learned so much more of Him since I have been able to follow these. Saul: The Journey to Damascus
(2014)

The Butcher is just the lead, not the message.
The film is good but I'm addressing previous critiques here. Saul/Paul played a major role in the life of so many or most Christians today. Without Paul, there wouldn't be a lot of books in the Bible. It's still disputed which ones were written by whom. The Butcher only led Saul to need Jesus and therefore become Paul. What the story told was true enough to make the point and touch a soul.

The story is from the Bible and I've never seen details on Saul's life as Saul before Jesus rescued him. Prove me wrong, but the Butcher is never mentioned anyway.

I thought it was well played but you should give credit to all the actors and staff.

Dominion
(2014)

Not impressed with insulting angels
Although the actors are good and I was taken in by the first episode, I would not want to be one of the people responsible for insulting God and His angels and pitting them against each other this way when I had to finally face them. What they do to them is an abomination! Unfortunately, now that I started it I can't remove it permanently from my "Continue Watching" list.

The Wheel of Time
(2021)

Can't wait for next season
This is a unique fantasy adventure but not fakey. Characters are realistic, make you want to cheer them on and I can't wait for the season 2! I'm glad the humble man is the one most unlikely to be the dragon but eventually the strongest candidate. It's also nice to see him depicted as a redhead, most commonly & falsely stereotyped as angry, out-of-control personality types.

Outer Range
(2022)

Get to the point!
Started out good, good actors & plot, but what's with all the minor side bars that take up all the time? All the fighting, lack of communication causing problems make me want to go in and grab their tongues to make them talk. Nowhere are there that many people that don't communicate with their families! It makes the show drag on & on & on.

The Trump Prophecy
(2018)

Good True story
Good, true story. It's unfortunate that people are rating it poorly because they don't believe, however it does reflect what happened in the US and the power of God & prayer, when a leader is blessed. The beginning was slow but once it got to the point, it was pretty good.

Jesus of Nazareth
(1977)

Best Movie Ever!
Not only the best Easter movie, but it has great actors, tells the story as accurately as possible, with as much detail in a little time, and it always leaves me crying (in a good way). Jesus is portrayed as the God-man that He is. Great movie!

Saved by Grace
(2016)

Decent message
Decent message but the man playing Rick couldn't remember which leg/knee was bad or even that it was bad. He would limp on different legs, but mainly the left leg, then rub the right. Grace acts a bit too obscure for a real human as though she was sent of God but as a Christian, she would make it clear that she wasn't.

8 Out of 10 Cats
(2005)

Laugh Track Too Loud!
I enjoyed the last half of the first show I watched so I started the second episode. The laugh tracks are Unnecessary, loud, &cover up and potential humor, not only by being louder that the comics but by being distracting and so obviously NOT real laughter! Take them away. People aren't that ignorant to be fooled by them anymore.

Tommy Little: I'll See Myself Out
(2021)

Unexpected
Started out slowly with unrelated humor for the TV audience but developed into some good humor and he relates well to his audience. I will watch more of his work because of this!

LOL: Last One Laughing Canada
(2022)

Could become great!
This has much more potential but maybe a new MC or less cussing (thank you Dave for saying it!). Mostly great talent but the language makes it appear amateur & flat - not funny, just annoying! I would raise the rating from 5 to 8 were it not for the language.

24
(2001)

Should stop while you were ahead!
It started out great! Some great actors, Kiefer has come a long way and his assistant is good. The woman playing his wife is a train wreck! But then, the part she plays is absurd! Who has that much bad luck all while acting a fool? The daughter is a little better, but not much. The writers need to get a check on reality and I'm just disgusted with them always writing women as being such frail idiots! We don't scream at every criminal trying to rape, kidnap, or attack us! We are smart and use our brains!

Solos
(2021)

Poor
This is a perfect example of why Hollywood lost the viewership of half of America! Within three minutes you're lying about politics and trying to push your own beliefs as truth. The sound is so bad my brain was confused and trying to avoid listening at all. Carrying a ball around and talking into it did not look like an easy, convenient or comfortable method of brainstorming? I just couldn't get past the first ten minutes. How you got such good actors to do this with such poor writing and direction and is this really rated higher than 3 stars?

The Last Days on Mars
(2013)

Another Zombie movie
We thought that when we put on a Mars movie plot it would be a good interplanetary themed show. Liev is usually a good actor in good stories but this is Just another zombie movie.

We need more shows like this one!
Thank goodness for shows like this! It's funny without unevenly balancing today's PC issues as most new shows do and isn't another detective series. We need more shows like this one, more comedies!
