My Little Pony: A New Generation is not good. It's missing that magic from older versions that I've enjoyed over the years. A lot of the songs were annoying and mediocre. The characters weren't flushed out enough to the point you forget their even there at all. Not to mention this movie dragged. I felt like I was watching a two hour movie.
There were things I liked: The voice acting was perfect! Along with the comedy from James Marsden and Kimiko Glenn. There was even one good song by Sofia Carson that I enjoyed. I even loved the animation! It was absolutely stunning!
A movie that didn't need to happen, but I'm sure kids will enjoy.
Can't Buy Me Love is an interesting concept with a boring outcome. A lot of times I felt bored and that nothing was really happening. I did like the chemistry between the two leads, though. And the lesson Ronald has to learn is great. They handled his redemption quite well.
I wish this show would've gone on longer! I thought it was so fun an cute! The concept along with the animation was perfect! The characters are interesting and the music is pretty good. If only it would've been more than three minutes and had more episodes.
I was really excited to watch this movie since I like the two leads, but this movie was awful! Very slow and terrible characters. I didn't root for either of the characters because their personalities were disgusting. At least it served for entertainment.
I was hoping this Barbie movie was going to be great. Instead I got a really bland movie with some random musical scenes added in. There were a couple musical numbers that were fun. The friendship between the two girls was alright. But I didn't like the fact that there were two Barbies. Or that Teressa, Ken, Raquelle, or Nikki weren't even in it.
Barbie movies used to be great and special. Now there just used to make sure people buy the dolls.
Cinderella is actually not that bad. There are quite a few enjoyable moments that kept me watching. A lot of the performances were terrific and made me smile. I thought Camila did a wonderful job, seeing as this is her first time acting. I enjoyed the romance between the Prince and Ella.
I didn't enjoy some of the songs because they felt so out of place. And the Shining Star scene went on for far too long. The mice were kind of annoying and useless. Even the whole feminism part was kind of annoying, too. I wish the stepmother had been more evil since that's what she is. Also, this sort of felt like a rip off of Ella Enchanted.
Out of all the Princess films this one is the worst. It can get boring and Snow White is super annoying. I did enjoy the dwarves and the songs throughout, even if Snow White's harmonizing could get annoying. And the Prince came off as kind of creepy. The end was the part that kind of annoyed me, she woke up and then said goodbye after everything they've been through? Why not just throw a celebration?
Cinderella 2 isn't terrible, it just isn't great either. There were some parts I enjoyed like the last story with Anastasia or the Prince finally having more of a role. I love the new voices and the music was great. But otherwise this movie is pretty dull compared to other sequels. The third movie is the best and does it's story wonderfully.
Get Smart is hilarious! Steve Carell is fun to watch and always puts a smile on my face. The chemistry between all the characters was perfect! Although, there were moments where it felt dull, but they always came back with a laugh.
Dan in Real Life is a great movie! The acting is perfect, the romance is cute, and the comedy is funny. I enjoyed watching Dan's life situations and how he was learning from his daughters. There were moments where I cringed from how awkward a moment was, but it wasn't bad.
Pocahontas 2 is another good sequel! It's fun, intense, and filled with great music. Except, there wasn't a ton of music like I had hoped. John Rolfe is great! I enjoyed his and Pocahontas' romance. Even seeing John Smith was pretty nice.
Pocahontas is a great movie! It's one of those movies that will make you fall in love with the characters and songs. There's intense scenes that leave you worried for each character. And the colors throughout are beautiful! Also, that scene when John Smith first sees Pocahontas is gorgeous!
When I turned this on I thought I was going to be incredibly bored. Turns out I actually fell in love with it! Sleeping Beauty is fun and has beautiful animation! The music is really good along with the story. I'd have to say Maleficent is the best villain of all. She's ruthless and completely evil. I even liked the love story between Phillip and Aurora.
The Princess Diaries is a classic! It's funny with memorable moments. The acting is fantastic with a perfect cast! I loved that Anne Hathaway and her friends were super awkward like normal teenagers. Mandy Moore was great at playing the mean girl. Although, I didn't like Michael and Mia.
I will say that I prefer the second one, but this one is great!
Frozen 2 is amazing up until after Into the Unknown. Then there are some great moments, like Olaf playing out Frozen 1 and Elsa's Show Yourself. That song absolutely blew me away along with her transformation. Plus the meaning of the song is beautiful!
Of course there are some negatives: Anna is kind of annoying when clearly Elsa can protect herself. Also, when she destroys the dam-risking Arendelle-she just doesn't care? Kristoff is pretty useless in this movie. Not enough Sven or funny moments. And killing Olaf was completely ridiculous.
There were some positives: This movie is stunning! Every detail is perfect and breathtaking! Most of he music is wonderful, except for Anna's song. I found it to be too depressing. I loved watching the sisters grow up and rule both kingdoms.
I had heard this Tangled show was amazing, so I thought I'd give it a shot. And to be honest, I didn't care for it. Tangled: Before Ever After would be dull without Eugene/Flynn. Rapunzel's choices in this movie were odd and her character just seemed off. I didn't care for her at all. I missed seeing the interactions between Pascal and Maximus with the other characters. Eugene was the same as ever: perfect. The songs were alright but nothing like Tangled. Lastly, the plot was pretty weak.
This short was hilarious! Although it was missing some of the key elements to Tangled. I wish it would've focused on Eugene and Rapunzel more. But I loved watching Maximus and Pascal try to get the rings back.
Aladdin is one of the best animated Disney films! It's fun with stunning animation! The characters are great, the story is exciting, the comedy is hilarious, and the music is beautiful! A Whole New World is gorgeous and such an amazing song. Jasmine and Aladdin are adorable, while Genie steals the show.
The Little Mermaid is a fun, classic movie! However, since I've been rewatching all the Princess movies, I've noticed that this one is the weakest so far. It's music is catchy and the animation is gorgeous, but the story felt weak. The best part was the characters. I loved seeing Ariel and Eric. Even the jokes were pretty funny.
Overall, it's always fun to watch Disney movies again!
Mulan 2 is still one of the better Disney sequels! It's got great music, cute romance, and intense action! That scene with Shang and Mulan at the bridge is suspenseful and amazing! I loved getting to see the princesses fall in love with the guards. Plus, Shang and Mulan were really cute.
I love Mulan! It has intense moments, great comedic timing, romance, music, and heart-warming moments. What more could you ask for? I laughed a lot and sung all the songs. And that scene where she cuts her hair has to be one of my all time favorite scenes!
To this day it's still one of the best Disney movies!
Tangled is amazing every time I watch it. Visually it's stunning, and it's story is perfect. The characters are fun and charming! I even laughed many times throughout. The romance between Rapunzel and Flynn is beautiful and makes them my favorite Disney couple. I see the light has to be one of the best Disney scenes in history. Speaking of music, it's fantastic! There are even action scenes that are so intense!
