A good look into you... This is one if not my favorite movie. I am sure you have read the plot details.
A group of wealthy New York college kids home for Christmas vacation " not so long ago". During the after parties they talk about philosophy, literature and social norms.
Personally I have had the opportunity to interact with a widely diverse members of our society. From those on welfare with limited education to Ivy League graduates.
And I have found in their peer groups they portray the exact same behavior .
However, when in discussion and examination of their beliefs. They like Nick Smith , Tom Townsend find they either confusion or up end a hypocrite or " The Apes of their Ideals".
I find another good title for this once used in a "Twilght Zone " " People are the same Everywhere "
I love the dialogue the overall pace of the film.
I always loved next to Tom Townsend bed is Oswald Spengler " Decline of the West ".
I have probably watched this two hundred times and never find it anything less than a triumphant.
But for all the wordy reviews this movie has
just watch it and have fun.
This film can't cure cancer but can put a smile on your face.
