Arcane could genuinely be the best TV series ever made. This episode enhances everything about the story to the point where I might have to start rewatching this whole show tomorrow. This episode is a clearly a masterpiece and potentially even peak fiction. It's rare for an ending to be truly great and even more rare for an ending to enhance the IP even half as much as this ending. This could legitimately be the best ending of any TV show of all time and it absolutely solidifies the series as a timeless classic. The $250mil budget was felt here. Every character from Jinx to Ambessa to Jayce to Vi got an extremely satisfying conclusion. I'm going to be thinking about this show for decade, it's rare for a gem like this to exist.
This episode is heartbreaking and absolutely enthralling. There's not a dull moment to this episode in its 40 minute run time. This masterpiece of an episode somehow encapsulated human nature by showing both sides of the coin, both love and destruction, order and chaos, life and death. I don't even think one character stood out above the rest. Somehow Jinx, Vi, Ambessa, Caitlyn, Viktor and Isha were able to have standout moments without any clearly standing above the rest. Arcane's writers make things look easy. The way the plot naturally just escalated in this episode as the characters closed in on one location was very well done. This episode and this show are a masterpiece and the bar has been set very high for the final 3 episodes of this show.
Attack on Titan's conclusion was a masterpiece, along with the rest of the show. The story of Eren Yeager's desire to go beyond the walls is one that is as beautiful as it is complex. The final episode encapsulates all of the horror and beauty that is to be found in the world, giving masterful conclusions to Mikasa and Armin as well as sending Eren off as perhaps the best character in fiction. The animation in this episode was the best in the entire show's run and the pacing made this incredibly enjoyable
to sit through despite the episode being nearly the length of a feature film. The theme of freedom is explored perfectly and we see what real freedom is as well as what it means to be a slave to freedom. This show is an absolute masterpiece and is absolutely the best anime of all time, and perhaps the greatest story of all time.
