I was sure I reviewed this one when it came out, but i guess it wasn't here. I remember being so irritated at the time and typing out a review. It must have been for another site.

I admit right from the start I am an action fan/junkie. I watch all of Stathams films.

Was so looking forward to this and the trailer showed so much promise.

Sadly the film didn't live up to the trailer.

First of all the whole flashback thing started to get on my nerves very quickly. Talk about hitting you over the head with a plot point. It was over telegraphed, over used and damn well annoying.

I couldn't get into the characters at all.

The script was so predictable and as a result boring. By the end I really didn't care who killed who.

I always thought Ritchie was overated and this film confirmed it for me.

I LOVED the first film. First time I have outright laughed in the cinema in years. Renolds and Jackson were great together. The acting the timing the script all worked well along with some great chase scenes.

What the hell happened!!! This was terrible. Renolds was allowed to run rampent. He was downright annoying throught the whole damn movie. His performance didn't raise a smile once. It raised my blood pressure in places though when I wanted to shout at his character to "shut the hell up"

I will watch ANYTHING the awesome Samuel L Jackson is in. But you couldn't PAY me enough money to sit through this again.

There is no sence that there was a decent storyline or even a flimsy one. In a word it was dreadfull.

Got to say I was not a fan of the parent show. I gave it a try but just never got into it. This came along and I have always admired Mr Sinise so I thought I would give it a go. I watched the entire season willing it to convince me it was worth my time. It didn't. The episodes ranged from okay to bad to insulting.

Now this was ALWAYS going to be a hard sell, because we know they are NEVER going to leave the back lot of L.A. They wont be filming in Thailand, Egypt or South Africa. And sorry to say it shows, big time.

Some of the sets are so obvious its cringe making. This detracts from the stories and spoils the overall feel of the show.

Added to the obvious L.A. back lot feel there is the cultural clichés that are insulting. This isn't a show about other cultures this is a show about Americans basically pointing out they are far superior to everyone else. So much so that they need to send in their own police to help the poor inept, corrupt, bumbling police forces of the world. And that everywhere outside the U.S. is dangerous. Well look to your own backyard America. This is insulting TV and insulting narrative to the countries portrayed so far.

The U.S. TV industry has a very poor record when it comes to portraying other cultures. I was hoping this would be different that it would be an intelligent and up to date look at world crime fighting and law enforcement co-operation. And yes in some instances non co operation. But to be honest even in the shows where there was co operation it was still condescending.

It is very poorly researched with multiple errors and plot holes. And visually does a very bad job of convincing you they have set foot outside of California.

No fault of the cast, I liked them all, but this is not worth the air time.

I am very surprised it is back for a second season. As much as I love Mr Sinise I will not be watching.

I really can't understand how some far superior shows were cancelled and yet this substandard offering made it to a second season.

Right I have seen tons of reports in the new and on social media saying this is awesome, its wonderful, its brilliant. We it's none of the above.

What it is, is basically a Star Wars Episode IV reboot.

Rey is Luke. Finn is Han. Kylo Ren is Darth Vader. The Death Star is the Death Star only bigger. Han is Obi Wan (once you have seen the film you will know what I mean). BB-8 is R2D2. The final Battle is a replay of the final battle in Episode IV.

I have seen some damn lazy writing in my time but this takes the biscuit. It's the 70's script with a few tweaks. I was exited for the new film, I took a day out and went to my local city to see it. While it is beautiful to watch, I felt so totally cheated when I came out of the cinema. It's just a rehash of the 70's film with shinier toys and a bigger special effects budget.

Basically it's a lesson on how to con millions out of your fan base.

We were promissed something new. They lied, there is nothing NEW in this film.

I really enjoyed the first film and was so looking forward to this one.

But I have to say it's terrible. There is not one funny moment in it. It's filled with every bad cliché in the book. It's filled with tired flat jokes and as a result it's terminally unfunny from start to finish.

Such a shame as the original was such fun. Glad I didn't out to go and see it in the cinema as I would have been really annoyed at the waste of good money.

Not even Mel Brooks could save this film.

Very disappointing.

I am not Brosnan's biggest fan, but I have to say I enjoyed every minute of this.

The characters are interesting and believable and the plot has enough twists and turns to keep you intrigued. There are plenty of fights, shootouts and car chases to keep the action fan in me very happy without going over the top.

The pacing of the plot is well done, you are carried along with the characters and interested in finding out just what the hell is going on.

The lack of massive amounts of CGI in this is also a selling point. I like a good honest action scene.

Much better than some of its big budget overblown contemporaries.

Last week I watched White House Down, which everyone told me was terrible.

It wasn't. It was a fun, check your brains in at the door, roller coaster of a ride of pure entertainment, An unashamed action film, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

This week I watched Olympus Has Fallen, and OMG it IS Terrible.

Someone commented that the plot to White House Down was too complicated, ummm not if your older than one and have more than one brain cell it isn't. Whereas with this film it is a case of Plot, What Plot? It's just one stupid action scene after another with more plot holes than swiss cheese, and some the plot holes are the size of the damn White House.

It has a stellar cast but the characters are so one dimensional that you honestly don't give a damn if the entire film blew up. You don't engage with any of them. It's slick it has plenty of bullets and explosions and a whole pile of bodies but in the end its just MEH.

It's a case of thats 1hr 59mins of my life spent watching something that is instantly forgettable. I finished watching White House Down wanting to buy the film. I finished watching this one wishing I had re watched White House Down.

Boring.

Thankfully I didn't listen to the majority who said this film was bad. It is an unashamed action movie. With a few clichés I grant you, but a damn good ride from start to finish. And a damn site better than a lot of its contemporaries.

I am not a particular fan of Mr Tatum or Mr Foxx, and I admit I only watched it because it was the only thing I fancied on the telly tonight. But damn I really enjoyed this film. It does exactly what it says on the tin, it entertains. I liked the good guys, I wanted someone to put a bullet in the baddies, and there are a few baddies. The kid in it is very likable when in some films they can be irritating as hell.

As I said earlier it does its job it's a no holds barred, check your brains in at the door, action movie. And I loved it.

This is one I am going out to buy.

I had never heard of the character or the books before I clicked on the first episode of this series. But much like a book that you can't put down I just couldn't stop watching this series. In fact I ended up watching all ten episodes over two nights. Titus Welliver is excellent as Harry Bosch a cop that just wants to get on with his job.

I will be reading Michael Connelly's books after this. Very taught thriller with some nice twists and turns, and a very creepy bad guy. Over all a perfect mix of cases, back story and human interest along with some lovely shots of LA that really gives you a feel for where it is set. Plus a theme song that I just can't seem to get out of my head.

Truly excellent film and definitely Ocsar worthy material for both the film and the actors. The entire cast are amazing.

As Cumberbatch says near the start of the film "are you paying attention". You should pay attention, Alan Turing deserves your attention, his story deserves to be told.

I went to see this at the London Film Festival last week and I am going to be one of the first ones in the cue to see it when it comes out next month. It is an excellently paced and executed script that has you gripped from beginning to end. The whole audience were laughing and applauding and crying in places, including the man next to me who had to borrow a hankie from his wife.

The film switches between the drive of the team of code breakers to solve the Enigma code, young Alan Turing and the events after the war that destroyed his life.

It is truly heartbreaking in places, and Benedict Cumberbatch's performance as Alan Turing is outstanding. He really deserves an Oscar nomination for his performance.

It has been a very, VERY long time since I enjoyed a film so much, that when I came out of the Cinema I wanted to turn right round and go back in and watch it again. A lovely script that had you switching back and forwards between tears and laughter.

I know some wanted a more in depth and in detail look at Alan Turing's life and have commented frequently that this does no focus enough on his sexuality or the events after the war.

In this case I think less is more, this film highlights the man and the mind. It shows us the genius that was destroyed by a society that was seriously homophobic. It brings to life the man behind the facts and we laugh at his interactions with his fellow code breakers and cheer as he proves his theories and our hearts break as we watch him try to cope after his court case.

One of the best films I have seen in a long time. Go and see judge for yourself.
