NCIS: Hawai'i
(2021)

Very Disaopointing
I loved NCIS New Orleans and love NCIS LA & the "original". I was excited for this from the second they announced it. And then it aired. And then I was not so much excited as sad. I like that they have a diverse cast, I like seeing Hawai'i. Beyond that I liked that it ended. The writing is terrible. The acting is terrible. This show is terrible. I will give it another chance because sometimes new shows have to find their "legs" but really this was bad. Sad because CBS has some great shows I wish they hadn't cancelled NCIS New Orleans because that show was wonderful.

FBI: International
(2021)

I wish it was just a little bad
But it's majorly bad. There were so many tropes, so many cliches, such lazy writing and zero interesting characters that I don't have enough willpower to write every horror I witnessed last night. Don't believe me? Here's one example: Someone says American cell phones don't work in Croatia (WRONG) so they HAVE to get one from this specific guy. Mkkkay, let's pretend that cell phones are rare and can only be bought by this one guy. Fine. Whatever. So they set up this "tense" meet to hand off this golden cell phone. Who needs it? Only the most wanted criminal in the USA/Europe that EVERYONE is looking for. Does the Bad Guy send one of his dozen bodyguards? Nah. HE WALKS INTO A CROWDED PUBLIC SQUARE.

ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME. Beyond stupid.

I hate-watched the rest and feel like I lost an IQ point.

The Equalizer
(2021)

fredwmeyer2 said it best
I cant ad alot to the other neg reviews here but just to ad my voice, this show is bad. i love Queen Latifah i liked her when she played in STARS. but this show has really bad writing and dialogue and like fred said the fight sences are choppy and confusing. Denzel killed this when he was the EQUALIZER so it makes me sad this show is unwatchable

The Flight Attendant: In Case of Emergency
(2020)
Episode 1, Season 1

Looks pretty but not much there
Lots of pretty shots, flashbacks, music, "ETC" but the substance of the story is minimal. Very little. but you won't know that because its hidden in lots of flashbacks and other "effects" (like ap icture coming to live).

New Girl: Re-launch
(2012)
Episode 1, Season 2

This show is really funny
I really like this show. It's super funny and makes me feel like someone else has the same sense of humor i do. idk if that makes sense but yea.

Black Panther
(2018)

Chadwick Boseman was a hero
His speech at Howard still inspires me. Great movie. Thank you for your work.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
(1993)

A Good Show About Good
At first I didn't think I would like this show because its not like the others where they are flying around and changing plantes like they do on the regular "Star Trek" but I think it was really good because they are just on one place (Deep Space Nine).

Its a good show and brings up alot of good questions about Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, you get the idea. I feel Avery Brooks did a really good job and I am glad to have watched this now because I ran out of things to watch on lockdown.

The King of Staten Island
(2020)

A good movie about real life
I liked this movie alot it sort of reminded me of me and my family like my brother had a hard time "finding his way" if you know what i mean. like me and my other brothers and sisters got jobs out of hs but he never really figured it "out."? this movie was good because in it Scott doesnt really have an y direction in life and then his mom (who is Marissa Tommei in this and is really good) starts dating a guy and i din't want to reveal the plot but through their fight and Scott learning more about himself he sort of "gets raised" by firefighters (his dad was a firefighter and was killed). I recommend it ,

Star Trek
(2009)

good movie
This is a good movie. I seen a few episodes of "Star Trek" "tv show" and it was okay but this movie was really good. The actors are excellent and the story was excellent too and it made me think I should watch more "Star Trek" on "TV".

I especially liked the messages about truth and doing what is "right". A movie.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
(2018)

Good Movie
And I especially liked the music. The animation was excellent and they do neat things with colors and like statick when there split between this universe and the one they came from. I liked the "characters" alot and like I said the music is super.

Chicago P.D.: Doubt
(2019)
Episode 1, Season 7

Good Show
All though I prefered the show in the early seasons this was the first one where I felt like it is pretty good again. There is alot of action and the watcher is not sure what to think and we are not sure what to think about Voight. Personally I don't like his charcter alot because it feels like hes one note but I like Hasltead alot. The acting is pretty good here and I am going to watch the whole season now.

The Big Bang Theory: The Euclid Alternative
(2008)
Episode 5, Season 2

Funny Episode
This was a really funny episode and it is one of my favorites of this show. Octavia Spencer is in it and I like her in every thing she plays in and I loved her in this to. Like most of this show the episode is funny and smart and interesting. In this episode Sheldon looses his ride to work because Leonard has to work at a different time then normal. Sheldon hits up everyone else for rides but eventually it gets clear hes to big of a burden on them. The gang decides to make Sheldon learn how to drive himself. It doesn't work that good.

Tommy: 19 Hour Day
(2020)
Episode 4, Season 1

Pretty good Show
This is onely the second epsiode of this series that I saw but I really liked it. Ive been a big Edie Falco fan for 3 years ever since I saw her on "The Sopranos". She is a great actor who can do really great things and makes me care about her character and what she's going thru.

This episode is about what the title says its basically "19 hours" in a day of Tommy the police Chief of Los Angeles. There is a bomb threat and a mudslide on 405 freeway in that city.

Because like I said I have only seen one other episode of the show I dont know if shes a regular character or not but the person "Tommy" lives with is "Kate" and she is really a difficult person to like. Maybe that was the intention of the director i don't know. Any way there is the bomb threat like i said earlier and tommy has to figure out "is it real"? They could use some cool police technology to try to figure that out but because they dont have a "warrant" Tommy says no.

After that there is a protest about the "environment" and the protest people are getting out of hand can tommy handle it? But then there day gets even worse because there is a mudslide on the freeway. This is realistic because I've read some stories about how there are mudslides in Los Angeles and also because the environment is a big issue out there so I believe there woudl be protesters.

The protester's get angrier and angrier and Kate is stuck in the mud slide on the freeway and Tommy has to keep telling the bad guy who wants to use the computer tech to hack into phones No! because they should have a warrant. I thinkt this was good because sometimes police abuse there authority and they should have to abide by the laws. Dont get me wrong I like the police and respect law enforcement but i think they should have to also follow the rules.

Any way the ending is very exciting but I won't spoil it here but the bomber does something you didn't expect them to do. its a good episode.

Penny Dreadful
(2006)

This is not a good movie
This isnt a good movie at all. The girl cant grow up normal because she had to see her parents die in a accident when she was little. But then she didnt learn to be careful with cars and she picks up a hitch hiker. I mean the environment or atmosphere or whatever its called of the film is good and adds tension but the movie felt so long that i think i feel asleep a few times. Also it felt very predictable so I would not recommend the movie.

FBI: Most Wanted: Ironbound
(2020)
Episode 11, Season 1

good episode about truth
Like I said in a review of another episode of this show this show did not start strongly but I think over time it has gotten better and better. This episode is part of that. Its about a police man who gets fired from a department because he told the truth and the police department covered it up.

This is very real life because you read all the time about police departments abusing there power. Don't get me wrong though I support police but they should be fair and not abuse their prominet position. But any way the officer (Gabe) gets fired because his department did a bad thing and covered up "The Incident."

Any way then he finds out victims of "The Incident" got screwed out of justice by the courts probably because his old department that was dirty lied. Now hes mad. He starts going after all the people who was a part of the cover up of "The Incident" Its a very vengeful mission.

Maybe my favorite part that made this not like other revenge episodes and its something they did in the school shooter episode to is that then it wasnt that simple. Maybe he was right killing the bad guys I mean not that its right to kill but they were bad an lied and someone died but then the story twists and it's about how hes mad at the guy who was a 'father' to him and taught him to tell the truth. Gabe feels like "the truth" is what made him lose his job and he goes crazy because hes spent his whole life thinking the truth is the best thing you can do and he did and got screwed so he didnt know what to do anymore. Any way I liked that because it was a different story than u usually see on tv.

FBI: Closure
(2019)
Episode 22, Season 1

Great episode
Wonderful episode. I liked how Maggie was trying to avenge her husbands death and it was neat how one of the clues is that a dog bit the hitman so they can track him. This has alot of emotion and is really tense and your cheering for Maggie and OA to catch the murderer who maybe played a role in her husbands death.

FBI: Most Wanted: Hairtrigger
(2020)
Episode 3, Season 1

Good show that is becoming better
I wasn't sold on the first two episodes of this series maybe it was because i was comparing it to "FBI" but now that I'm getting into it more i think its actually better. There is more psychological analyzing to this one sort of like "Criminal Minds" and its really fast pased which is entertaining.

This episode is a different ake on a school shooting which is cool because you see alot of shows just doing simple angry people doing shootings. This is about how someone was effected by a school shooting but then it twists into anger at the government going deeper into the problem. I think this show is good and every episode it just gets better. So far my favorite players are Sheryl Barnes and Kenny Crosby.

Planet Earth II: Islands
(2016)
Episode 1, Season 1

Nature is dope.
This video proves it.

Animals are complicated and beautiful and this somehow makes a story about them which I didn't expect. It's really interesting and also talks about some of the dangers animals are dealing with (humans suck)
