The Dark Knight
(2008)

Why So Serious??
'The Dark Knight' which is a sequel to 'Batman Begins' is a successor to the previous part in every sense of the word. Right from the start of the movie to the end Nolan does a wonderful job and keeps the audience at the edge of the seats with all the CGI , storyline and the tricks that he pulls off.Even though the movie runs for over 2.5hours , we just tend to not notice that and the movie just breezes through.I think Nolan has just completed the work of his lifetime and he needs every bit of acclaim that he really deserves.

Talking about the acting , i would go as far as saying its just one man show and that would be the late 'Heath Ledger'.The guy is marvelous ,sophisticated , psychotic , mind blowing as 'The Joker'.Every person who has read the comics and is a religious follower of the batman series would know that The Joker is not supposed to be funny, on the contrary is supposed to be scary.Heath Ledger has done just that and with his acting has proved to the whole wide world what a tremendous actor he is.Its just not that he is the only one who has acted well, simply put , his acting makes others portrayal of their character childish.Look out for joker in the 'magic trick' scene ,when he is talking to the mob boss in the warehouse.

As for the Background score i would say Hans Zimmer has done a great job and the score is creepy at times , ecstatic at others.

Overall I would say a fantastic movie which should be on every movie goers 'must see' list.If you are missing this film , then you are missing something in life.On the last note i would like to add that some people might think that Heath Ledger's character portrayal as 'WHY NOT SO SERIOUS' character done in a 'WHY SO SERIOUS' way, but let me tell you, 'The Joker' is NOT supposed to be funny:)

1000 Ways to Die
(2008)

Bizarre!! Totally Bizarre
Well, this is my first review here , so please bare with me.

Well i watched this on my Pc and din't expect it to be too bizarre. Rather i thought it will be just another show which promises bizarreness like the ones they usually show, and guess what i was remarkably wrong. First of all ,if you are faint hearted i would request you to give this show 'the pass' .

The show depicts intense scenes of violence and possible(not probable) ways to die.It is extremely graphic and shows us how death comes about when you are least expecting it to knock on your door. This show is much like 'Final Destination'(the movie) , i would go as far as saying it is even more violent pertaining to the fact that , the deaths portrayed are real. Especially the one particular death of a reclusive guy called Mark who had a weird hobby of collecting deadly slimy creatures. I am not going to say anything more than this.

This show is only for people who can take this up for educational viewing and seriously not for the faint of heart.

On the whole i would say this is an excellent show and i am looking forward to the next episode.
