Project Blue Book
(2019)

Such talent!
Man did they pull in some talent for this series. Each episode has a new actor from something you just watched. Check the cast list, how is this not on a broadcast network!?

The show so far portrays some of the most iconic ufo mysteries and adds a little Russian espionage to the mix to spice things up. I wish the show was out so I could binge it already!

Now keep in mind it's a show, not a documentary. And that they are basing this off of newly released bluebook info as well as numerous accounts even ones not published, and not the stuff printed from 40 years ago. But it's a damn good retelling of events. And a damn good watch.

The Happytime Murders
(2018)

God damn funny
If you don't have a good time watching this movie there's something wrong with you. Just be aware it's rated R for a reason, there's some very mature situations and language.

The Matrix
(1999)

Still holds up 20 years later..
Even with the new 4k hdr these the graphics and action scenes area holding up to the test of time. It not only looks better than mainstream movies today, you're hard pressed to tell what was added in visual effects and what was happening at the time of the shoot.

The entire tower scene, not just the bottom level, is a thing of beauty. From all of the rain and explosions and bits flying around that you can see clearly now in 4K, to the generated explosion when the bomb hits the basement. Just gorgeous. Give it a watch, or a rewatch. It's worth it even now more than ever.

The Spy Who Dumped Me
(2018)

Funny
It's another spy comedy with a female cast, been done before. We'll be done again. Grab a blunt and have a good laugh. Mila nails it as always, plus some of the stunt scenes are truly worthy of being in an action movie, not just a comedy. Screw the naysayers!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
(2018)

Can't wait for more!
One of the best new shows to hit Netflix recently. If you remember the kids series from the 90's, this isn't that! But a much more comic driven and adult version that does not disappoint! I binged till done, season two is too far away!

THE FREEDOM PROJECT
(2015)

Cup of noodles presents..
Heavily sponsored anime by nissin cup of noodles. It was part of a promotional event celebrating their 35th anniversary back in 2006.

The movie itself is set in future America where climate shifts have messed up civilization, colonies live in space but there are still survivors on Earth. Which the people in control don't want the colonies knowing. What follows is a Chase across America with familiar sites like Vegas and the Kennedy space center in Florida. Even though it's a promo, it's s great anime and worth a watch, if you can find it.

Bleach: Burîchu
(2018)

Worth it
Any fan of the series will enjoy this, much of the voice acting in the dub is the same actors from the series. The story covers most of season one, they do skip over a few things, we don't get to see Chad's powers at all. Kon doesn't even exist. There's no mention of what Rukia's punishment is (not anything close to a trial or execution in her future). They also wrap the movie up in such a way that everybody else besides Ichigo doesn't remember what happened.. but the graphics are amazing and quality dubbing. All in all it's a decent watch. I hope they make more to continue the series.
