The Oprah Conversation: Elliot Page
(2021)
Episode 14, Season 1

Great that he comes and talk about his situation
I'm 100% supportive of Elliot life and journey, but I couldn't event finish this episode as he looks sick, and weak, his voice is trembling. It just didn't feel appropriate at this time. Too bad because there's a lot of things to say.

Fireball: Visitors from Darker Worlds
(2020)

Great trailer, awful documentary
I was expecting to see old cultures influenced by meteors, instead, some « scientists » or weird passionnates, with a soporific narrator and awful music in background.

I stopped after 25 minutes.

Really not what the trailer was advertising.

Losing Alice
(2020)

Decent actors in a weird story.
I watched it entirely but couldn't get over this twisted scenario.

Not entirely sure what bothered me more, the fake character of Sophie or the weird one of Alice.

I like foreign production (Tehran is a great one), but this one leaves me with half a feeling of having lost my time.

The Lion King
(2019)

Very nice, but not worth the original
Very, very nicely made, you can feel like you were in the savanna. But the movie lacks some of the funkyness of the original. Making it too realistic and you loose a bit of the charm of the original. I did not understand the choice of removing Tina Turner's « He lives in you » and replace it with a new insipid song. Bad choice Disney.

Fury
(2014)

Great movie
Good actors, good script, good music. Changes from the usual war movies exposing a different point of view.

Togo
(2019)

Predictable
Not as tears drawing as I thought it would be reading the reviews. Sometimes funny, sometimes moving. Well done in the overall, but very predictable since the beginning. Nice landscape pictures, but partially ruined by a disturbing constant filter/frame over the picture. Who had this stupid idea?!?
