The Book of Redemption Boba Fett was a cool looking bounty hunter who fans went crazy for during the original movies. The Star Wars EU also made Fett even cooler by expanding on his story and giving his armor a really cool name. Yet, this series isn't about Boba Fett the legendary bounty hunter, but Fett's journey to redemption after ending up in the stomach of a Sarlac. And...it's not only Boba who gets redemption. The entire planet of Tattoine gets a makeover, including the much aligned Tusken Raiders, who have previously been portrayed in Star Wars mediums as savage killers. The Tuskens killed Anakin Skywalker's mom, which was a pivotal event that pushed him closer toward the dark side. Basically, Tattoine is like the butthole of the universe and Fett is now the leader of one of the largest cities on the planet, but he doesn't want to rule with fear. He wants to rule with respect and in essence that is the point of season one. Yes, bad things have happened on the planet and a lot of folks there have done bad things in the past, but none of the defines who they are now. This is a slower paced series than The Mandalorian or Obi-wan Kenobi. There isn't a big mystery or riddle to solve. This is more like a space western and I would liken it to the great series Firefly, which relied more on character driven storylines. Personally, I really enjoyed this.
8/10.
