Two Hands
(1999)

Heaths best performance
What a great film. Wonderful story with a superb cast lead by Heath. This a one of those great Aussie films with international A-List stars before they were famous. Except for Bryan Brown.

Bluey
(2018)

The best kids show
What a great fantastic well thought out show. Wonderful storyline's, beautiful voices and great animation. Make sure you watch it as a family!!

The Secrets She Keeps
(2020)

Missed opportunity
Women keep a lot of secrets and so do men!! Not very interesting theme so predictable. Secrets always causes trouble when it's out!

Doctor Doctor
(2016)

Ridiculously crap
Is this really Australia? No I don't think so!! I don't know why anyone finds Roger Corser appealing or even a good actor??? A Country Practice was much better!

The Gloaming
(2020)

Is this glitch
Slowing gloaming at such a slow series. Same old cast, same old faces and same old mystery. Yay! Come in Stan! Do something different and original!! I mean ORIGINAL new series!!

The Commons
(2019)

Commonly Boring
Wow. Some things just dont make sense and this series just doesn't make sense. Boring lead actress and boring storyline. The world is not doomed.

Mother Fish
(2009)

Powerful story
This is a very interesting topic for a film and told visually different to your blockbuster films. The Vietnamese refugee journey had a global affect during its peak. Many people who were affected still deal with the affects of trauma the war caused. This film deals with that trauma with heart and conviction. The actors are fantastic and raw. Hieu Phan and Vico Thai gave pretty strong performances. A good film for the for cinema collection.

True Blood
(2008)

Amazing supernatural series
The is a well structured series, the characters are addictive and the supernatural themes keep the audience on edge. Anna Paquin is perfectly cast as the lead.

Better Man
(2013)

Waste of time
What a waste of time this production was. Firstly to idolise a convicted crimes in a series and making heroes out of drug traffickers is a sad excuse for a show. The casting is also off putting, with the usual Australian faces and lead actors who are worlds apart from being Vietnamese. Are there no Vietnamese actors out there? Absolute waste of time.

Hungry Ghosts
(2020)

Top Series Pick for 2020
What an outstanding concept for a series. I applaud the creators of this show and cast and crew for their bravely in telling this spectacular Australian story. I feel the message in this series transcends All cultures. The direction is marvellous. Each scene was carefully beautifully brought to life by director Shawn Seet. The cast were fantastic and it was very refreshing to see so many diverse faces. On Aussie screens. I really enjoyed the cameos by Susie Porter and Gary Sweet who did a great job. My only quarrel is that this series deserved more episodes to indulge the audience on the developed storyline's. The characters are engrossing and addictive such as Suzy Wrong who played Roxy, the talented Catherine Van Davies as May Le and Gabrielle Chan was a delight to watch. I was also really interested in the vengeful Ghost Quang's storyline, beautifully portrayed by Vico Thai but was only given snippets of his history, not enough! The story may gel better if writers and creators were given room for more episodes. The Ghosts characters storyline's were lacking and inconsistent at times. Ryan Corr did a great job of looking scared and it was lovely to see Claire Bowen and Justine Clark in different challenging roles. Overall great casting, great acting and a great new series for 2020, something you can watch more than once.
