I saw people suggesting this movie after watching Your Name, almost all of them would suggest this, but maybe my expectation is too high. It's not even half as good.

Watched this on recommendation from my friends, it's okay. Nothing outstanding at all. Would change the rating if the show improve, as of now, just average. Maybe if you're hardcore shonen lover you will like this, but hearing people saying this anime is a masterpiece is very laughable

Pulang (2018)

An underatted masterpiece

I rarely watch romance movies or stories, especially from Malaysia that typically has those extremely cliche rich guy marry poor woman and loses his memory and so on. This one particularly got me by surprise, in a good way. The cinematography of this movie is soooo good for a Malaysian standard, makes the movie much more immersive to watch. The soundtrack is tip top. The acting is great. And not forgetting the most important thing, the emotions portrayed in this film is absolutely heart wrenching. I'm kicking myself for not watching this movie in theatre. PS: For the bad reviews for this movie for the bad CGI can shut up. The movie doesn't has a big budget, with small budget the love that being put in the movie is more important. Would definitely watch this movie over and over again. And no, I'm not a production crew from this movie that give extremely biased review. Just a normal man watching movies for fun.

A copy paste version of the first movie

The same concept, bad guy wanna take over the world, Boboiboy almost lose then he got new power due to friendship reasons. The characters are still the same, to many comedic elements. Even a part it was supposed to be tense is being made fun out of it. Used to love the first movie, maybe because I was younger back then. Came back for the second movie, expecting the plot and storyline has expand so much, not!

On the positive side, the fight scenes is jaw dropping,( eventhough only Boboiboy gets the baddass scenes all the time), the animation is decent. And that just it.
