One of the worst adaptations of a novel I have ever seen: the last ten or fifteen minutes were made up by the script-writer, while the book itself left a lot of things open. Other parts of the book were neglected which might have improved the script, but no. And why change the name of Michael Daley into Adam Daley? To make him different from the character in the book?

The principle is well-known: present a story from different points of view. But in this film it proves a successful formula. Unexpected twists, an Alzheimer sufferer who appears to understand more than you expect, sisters that trust and don't trust each other make this a film worth watching.
