This Is Me... Now: A Love Story
(2024)

LOL. Seriously?
This "Movie" is nothing more than one long FACETUNED Commercial for the "Mediocre at Best" J Lo.

J Lo's long history has shown that her only talent is her insatiable ambition and willingness to use anyone and do anything it takes who can elevate her status. She has always surrounded herself with people who provide the smoke and mirrors to camouflage her mediocrity.

Her ongoing campaign to spin her dog-eat-dog history into something inspirational made the audience LOL in multiple scenes. This latest vanity project is another in a long line of attempts to create an image of substance...where there is none.

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance
(2018)

Commercial for D List Actress/ Social Climber
Wow. This is another shameless PR stunt, and money grab by a talentless, grifting, D-list actress.

The brainwashed "Spare," who has his own issues with inadequacy, will no doubt live to regret ever meeting, Meghan The Shark. He's clearly too naive and sheltered to recognize that only one person stood to gain from this marriage, and it certainly isn't him. He's been in a downward spiral since the "I do's" catapulted Meghan's tyrannical and diva-like campaign.

Meghan has a documented history of using people for her own gain. Several in her own family have described her narcissism and her toxic impact on others. Seems like the only person who didn't know this was Harry.

Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies
(2022)

Casey Anthony: Predator & Gaslighter
A more appropriate title of the pretend documentary would be, Casey Anthony: Predator & Gaslighter. The real mystery is, how was this 3 part LIE-fest ever made? The director falls in line with each incredible twist of facts and outrageous omissions, as though her sole purpose is to give this horse-faced child killer an unabashed platform.

This is the worst story-telling/ truth telling efforts I've ever seen. It's absolutely no surprise that this ugly, predatorial, monster would jump at the chance at a "No questions asked" revenge-fest against her family...she is a spoiled, jealous (of Kalee's beauty and the adoration she received), vicious sociopath.

The worst part is that Casey Anthony is still every bit the threat that any Megan's Law registrant is on society. And, Peacock has given this evil Hag a platform to further victimize. Shameless.

Two Words- Cancelling Netflix
Shame on Netflix. Who's the target audience for this junk.

Another low budget, poorly written, and badly acted waste of time. I was excited that at least Netflix added something new- That wasn't dubbed! Vapid. Stopped watching aster 15 minutes.

Netflix content is 90% unwatchable. This is a bad made for TV movie at best. And, the gratuitous wokeness is laughable. A lot of box checking characters, who are completely one dimensional.

Also, this series is not at all scary. Boring, for sure, but not scary. My husband and I laughed at the feeble attempts to copy scenes from other movies.

Completely predictable. It's sad that once again Netflix has underestimated the intelligence and taste of its subscribers. We only check Netflix every few weeks, and even then we rarely find anything compelling or entertaining.

Marry Me
(2022)

Another J Lopez Vapid Vanity Project
JLopez has been known (for many decades) as a Fame Shark. This is another in a long line of over-produced, vapid J Lopez commercials...And, the good reviews?? Clearly paid for.

Eternals
(2021)

Another Dud Performance from Jolie
The movie severely underestimated the intelligence of its audience. Jolie's desperate attempts to rehab her image as a controlling sociopath has failed again. The rest of the cast just seemed bored:(.

Those Who Wish Me Dead
(2021)

Angelina Jolie is Creepy and Miscast
Jolie as an athletic and heroic firefighter is terrible casting and hilarious. The movie might have been better with a less anemic and creepy actress and better writing,

King Richard
(2021)

Mediocrity
Certainly not an artistic, compelling, or well crafted film. Will Smith is so overrated. Vanilla "Made for television," is how I'd describe it. We didn't finish it.

Better Things
(2016)

The 3 Kids Suck- BUT, Pam A (Sam) is Amazing
Aside from the three whiney kids (and their Bad Acting), the show is Great! Pam Adlon is such a talent, and her character Sam is so well written and acted. As the show evolved, and the kids became bigger characters, I simply started to FF through their unbearable scenes. All other characters are great. Look forward to seeing what Pam A. Does next.

Keeper of the Ashes: The Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders
(2022)

Chenoweth Annoyingly Makes this Tragedy About Herself
This docuseries is ruined by the attention-seeking narration of Kristen Chenoweth. The soft-focus and heavily filtered cutaways to Chenoweth are gagworthy. We got 15 minutes in, and turned to another show, after the actual story was interrupted AGAIN for Chenoweth to show more pics of herself, and a slow-motion cut-a-way of Chenoweth running through a meadow. 👎🏼 Shameless self promotion.

Pieces of Her
(2022)

Convoluted Story- Toni Collette Saves
This convoluted and irritating story has more holes than a block of Swiss cheese. The chronically bad and nonsensical choices made by the 3 main characters is insulting to the watcher. Toni Collette's talent couldn't save this predictable "Made for TV" mess.

And Just Like That...: Diwali
(2022)
Episode 6, Season 1

Humorless and Dim- An Insult to Intelligent Viewers and Aging
I LOVE well-written shows about aging, middle age, etc. This is NOT a well-written/acted show:( The bad review have NOTHING to do with Agism (per SJP). The bad reviews are due to a poorly conceived, poorly written, and poorly acted waste of the intelligent viewers time.

Dexter: New Blood: Cold Snap
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 1

Great, but Debra Must Go...
Why the most annoying character (Debra) was brought back, is perplexing. Everything else is well done. Writing, acting, and directing is compelling. Lots of possibilities with this reboot.

And Just Like That...: Some of My Best Friends
(2021)
Episode 4, Season 1

Not Just Dumb...Bad Writing and WORSE Acting
Ok. I'm done. One last try, but the stupidity, desperation, and manipulation, have proven to be too much. Bad writing and worse acting have made this intolerable. AND, I just couldn't make it past SJP's ridiculous white tutu skirt. Switched back to VEEP! 💜.

And Just Like That...: When in Rome
(2021)
Episode 3, Season 1

Kim Cattrall's Next Show
I was bracing myself for the sad absence of Kim Cattrall...but still had hope. Carrie is as unevolved, narcissistic, and annoying as always. For some reason, even Miranda has been written like a ditz...we're left with 3 completely unlikeable performances and too many stereotypes to count. I'll wait for Kim Cattrall's next show!!

And Just Like That...: Hello It's Me
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 1

Unlikeable Performances
Wow. Within 5 minutes, SJP is insulting Samantha...Who would ever believe that Samantha needed Carrie as a client?? Carrie is as unevolved and annoying as always. For some reason, even Miranda has been written like a ditz...we're left with 3 completely unlikeable performances and too many stereotypes to count. I'll wait for Kim Cattrall's next show!!

And Just Like That...: Little Black Dress
(2021)
Episode 2, Season 1

Vapid
The bad reviews are a reflection of viewers insulted by the stupidity of theses characters, BAD acting, and the fact that the two most charismatic characters are gone. We're left with 3 completely unlikeable performances.

And Just Like That...
(2021)

Insulting Samantha in first 5 minutes! Vapid, Desperate, Money Grab
Poorly acted and contrived, we couldn't finish the first episode! This attempt at a reboot completely underestimates the intelligence of the audience. We literally lOL'd at how ridiculous and transparently manipulative the writing is. Unfortunately, Samantha is gone, and we're left with 3 unevolved whiners, who I'd want to avoid in real life. Disappointing.

The Nest
(2020)

Cinematography Is Dark and BLURRY!
Disappointing visually. Good Actors, and writing was good. The movie is so shadowed, grey, and blurry, you can't even tell who's on the screen. Booo. Needs a visual do over.

It's Complicated
(2009)

Great, Except for Their "kids"
Witty, Funny, and charming movie and 4 main ADULT characters are great. The 20-something kids are SO annoying (terrible writing and ACTING), and not sure they need to even be in the movie. The John K. "Son in law" character is ridiculous, and seems like an afterthought.

Dexter: New Blood
(2021)

Superb, Except for Debra is Back:(
This reboot lives up to the flawless original series- it's Superb! EXCEPT, the most ANNOYING character, Deborah, is Back. Ugh. We just FF through those scenes. We thought we were home free, since her character died in the original. The rest of the cast/characters are great.

The Head
(2020)

Who Wants to Read Subtitles??
Too much work to read, and very weak payoff. Story and characters are contrived. And, many scenes are poorly directed. Almost has a local theater feel.

Doctor Doctor
(2016)

One Flaw- Character Charlie (Nicole Da Silva) Is Annoying!
9 Stars- 1 Flaw. Just discovered this show, and am on the final season. LOVE HUGH, Penny, Max, Merle, Ajax....BUT, the character Charlie is such a selfish, boring, narcissist (not crazy about the actress Nicole Da Silva, either). She has been "Leaving" for 2 seasons... but, she shows up again in every episode. I have to FF through all her contrived and badly acted scenes. Nobody believes the story line that Max would actually still be attracted to her.
