Juno
(2007)

I loved this movie!
This movie was so awesome, the most awesome movie I've seen in a very long time, and I was really satisfied with it. I don't know why so many people don't like it. The plot was an amazing idea, simple as it was. And the acting was really well done and believable. But I have to say, what I liked most about this movie was none other than the main character, Juno MacGuff. The character's lines were spunky, and they were all said at exactly the right time. Also, the character Ellen Page portrayed was a teenage girl that I would like to be friends with, despite the mistake she made. She wasn't too laid back about the pregnancy, but she also wasn't too worried. All in all, this movie was awesome, and I like to watch it over and over again.

Boy Meets World
(1993)

Best Disney Channel Show Ever
I believe that Boy Meets World is the best Disney Channel show ever! Part of the reason is that it's not always only funny and teaches a lesson or two at the end of the show, but it also deals with things that are serious, and not just about not lying. One of the main serious situations is the character Shawn Hunter; in most Disney Channel Shows, the characters have two loving parents, and they live in a comfortable home, or else they only have one parent, but the parent loves them more than anything else in the world. Shawn Hunter's mother always leaves, and then his father leaves, and it doesn't seem that Shawn's parents care that much about him, and that was why in the second season, Shawn went to live with John. But, when Shawn did move back in with his father, he doesn't move into a comfortable home, but a trailer park. Most Disney Channel shows; like That's So Raven, Phil of the Future, Hannah Montana, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody; try to stay away from kids who live like that. And, I like how all of the adults aren't like the children's friends, but the children can still go to them if they want help or something; for example, Mr. Feeny lives next door to the Matthews, but he doesn't like Cory and Eric that much, but whenever Cory or Eric were in trouble, they could always go out on their porch and talk to Mr. Feeny. Boy Meets World is definitely the greatest Disney Channel show ever!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
(2007)

Worst Movie Yet
All the other Harry Potter movies nearly followed the book and were like each other, but Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix was absolutely horrible. It didn't follow the book, and it was unlike all the other movies. In the third movie, the dementors looked like they had black cloaks over them, but in this movie, they had faces and looked like they were wearing normal clothes; they didn't even have the hoods that were mentioned in the book. And, the carriages didn't look the same as they did in the fourth movie; in the fourth movie, there were roofs for the carriages, but in this movie, the carriages didn't have roofs. In the book, Professor Umbridge and Harry were supposed to be super friendly with each other, but in the movie, Harry was super rude to Professor Umbridge, and Professor Umbridge was mean to him. There was absolutely no quidditch, Creecher was barely shown, and when Sirius died, it was supposed to be really, really sad, but it barely looked like that. I admit, I did cry when he died and it showed Harry "screaming," but when I read the book and learned that Sirius died, I cried more. This movie was nothing I expected it to be; so much was taken out from the book! In the first, second, third, and fourth movies, it pretty much followed the book, but this movie did nothing of the sort. 1/10 stars!

Ratatouille
(2007)

Wonderful!
Ratatouilli is a wonderful Disney Pixar film. Remy was really cute, and when he was guiding Lenguini to do the stuff in the kitchen, it was really funny when he kept bumping into everything. But, there were some parts that were really gross, like when the rats were cooking. Another part that was gross was when the lady shot the top of the chandelier, and it fell down, and then all the rats were found there. Ratatouilli was really funny, though. The credits were cute, because they were cartoons, as well. I hope that no one thinks that Ratatouilli is just a lame Disney movie, because it isn't; it is definitely worth seeing. Although paying to see it in the theater was a lot of money, it was definitely worth seeing. I really liked the romance between Lenguini and Collette, because it was a really sweet part of a really funny movie. Ratatouilli is wonderful, and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD; I will definitely buy it, and watch it every day!

Cory in the House
(2007)

great!!!!!!
Cory in the House is such a great show! My favorite character is Sophie because she is really cute and funny. When I first heard about this show, I was worried that they would ruin Cory from That's So Raven. In That's So Raven, he was an annoying younger brother who was obsessed with money. In Cory in the House, he is still obsessed with money, but he can't really be an annoying younger brother since Raven is gone. What I don't like about the show is that the plot doesn't always stay the same. Like, in Ain't Miss Behavian, President Martinez goes to a dinner with just Sophie. You would think that in the white house that the president would go to a dinner with his wife, so it seemed like he didn't have a wife. But then, in Mall of Confusion, it shows for the first time the First Lady. This show is great. Since Cory and Victor moved to the White House and it's just the two of them, I think that their relationship as father and son has grown. In That's So Raven, Cory and Victor were rarely shown together, but now in Cory in the House, most of the episodes show them together. Although the plot doesn't always stay the same, Cory in the House is definitely a show worth watching!

Cory in the House: That's So in the House
(2007)
Episode 16, Season 1

awesome!
This episode of Cory in the House is absolutely awesome because Raven guest starred! I was so happy when she arrived, and it was just so cool. I liked how she had a vision about the president, because it was just like in That's So Raven. I found it really funny how Newt had a crush on "Raven" when Cory was pretending to be her. What I didn't like about this episode, though, is that Raven just quickly told President Martinez that she was psychic. She didn't even ask him to keep it a secret. Also, when I saw that Raven was going to be in an episode, I was glad because I thought about how funny it would be if she met Sophie, but Sophie wasn't even in this episode! I was very disappointed with that. I was just really glad, though, that Raven was in the episode, especially since it was funny. I hope Raven will continue to guest star in different episodes, because then she might meet Sophie, and she might have a better relationship with President Martinez. If Raven ever guest stars again, I will definitely watch it, because I was very impressed when she was in this episode.

Dancing with the Stars
(2005)

my favorite show
I started watching Dancing With the Stars in the middle of the fourth season, and I absolutely loved it. At first, I wanted Billy Ray Cyrus to win, even if he was a bad dancer, because he is one of my favorite country singers, and not only because he was on Hannah Montana, although that is how I knew he was a country singer. But after Billy Ray Cyrus lost, I wanted Apollo to win, because he was a good dancer and he was cute. I was really happy when he did win. I like this show because dancing is my favorite sport, and I don't like how people don't think it is a sport. Dancing is a sport! Dancing With the Stars was very suspenseful during the results. And, the dancing was fun to watch because each pair had a completely different idea to choreograph it. Dancing with the Stars is one of my favorite television shows, and I am definitely going to watch it every night it is on, because it is great!

Toy Story
(1995)

awesome!
Toy Story is awesome! When I was little, I watched it all the time because I loved it so much, and I still watch it all the time! My favorite character is Woody, because he is so funny. My favorite part of the movie was at the very end when the toys were spying on Andy's friends when they were going to Andy's party, and then all the presents started growing bigger and bigger. I think that the story was really cool because there weren't only boy toys, but girl toys, too because of Andy's little sister. The animation was great, the actors were all talented, and the whole storyline is awesome! When Andy started to like Buzz Lightyear more than Woody, I felt really sorry of Woody, but I'm glad that Andy didn't just get rid of Woody; Andy still loved all his toys, even though he liked Buzz Lightyear more for a while. I'm glad that although Woody and Buzz Lightyear seemed to be enemies at the beginning, they ended up being friends at the end. If you have not seen this movie before, you have to go to the library and borrow it so you can see it!

Lizzie McGuire
(2001)

not the best but not the worst
Lizzie McGuire isn't the best show, but it isn't the worst show; it's just somewhere in the middle. It entertains, I'll give it that, but the actors were annoying, especially Hilary Duff, who plays the main character. Also, this show seems to be showing girls that they have to follow the latest trends, have a crush on the most popular boy in school, not have the best relationship with their parents, have a worst enemy, and take forever to get ready for school each morning. Girls should wear what they like, not what a magazine likes. They should not let boys control their lives, but if they have a crush, it needs to be a boy they really like, not who everyone else likes. Girls should have a great relationship with their parents, and not try to avoid them. Girls should try not to have an enemy, but if they do, they shouldn't get distracted by it. And, girls should only take five or ten minutes to get ready for school. Sure, Lizzie does care about presentation and she tries hard academically, but if she was a real girl, she just wouldn't be a good role model.

Return to Halloweentown
(2006)

cool!
I know that a lot of people didn't really like this movie because Kimberly J. Brown was replaced with Sara Paxton, but I believe that Sara Paxton did a pretty good job in acting as Kimberly J. Brown did. Sure, she didn't look exactly like her, and she couldn't be as brave as the old Marnie was, but that was just how Sara Paxton did it. I liked the story line, and it was suspenseful until the very end. I liked the character of Dylan Piper. I also liked the character of Ethan Dalloway. I found it funny when Marnie went back in time, and Sara Paxton played Aggie. I really liked the character who was a genie. That was so cool! Anyway, I was impressed by this movie. I know that it wasn't exactly like the other Halloweentown movies since it doesn't include Kimberly J. Brown, but the movie is still worth watching. I definitely give this movie ten out of ten stars!

Two of a Kind: Prelude to a Kiss
(1998)
Episode 3, Season 1

good
This episode of Two of a Kind is fine. I love when Mary-Kate told Ashley to duct tape someone to the floor when they fell asleep, and then tell them the house was on fire. I also liked when Kevin said that the ice cream was really hard after already scooping a lot of ice cream, and then Carrie told him to put it the microwave for a few seconds. The advice Carrie gave to Ashley about having a first kiss was really good. She said that her first kiss should be for her and not for her friends. I sat through this entire episode because it was really good. I liked the plot and the jokes. The only thing I didn't like was the acting. Although Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson have been acting their entire life, they aren't very good at acting. They were really fake. The girl who played Jennifer was even a worse actress. Although she was supposed to be one of the most beautiful girls at the entire party, she was actually the ugliest, in my opinion.

Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board
(2007)

awful
Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board is awful! The actors didn't know how to act, and they probably couldn't since the words in the script were so unrealistic. Jake T. Austin's voice was really whiny, and his character was just plain annoying. Rose McIva did a bad job. I know that she couldn't use her real accent, and it might have been hard to act, but I can't see why she couldn't have used her real accent. It was really stupid how Carla was marrying Johnny's grandpa, because she was practically the same age as Johnny's parents. And, you couldn't even tell if Johnny's grandpa was Johnny's dad's dad, or his mom's dad, because they both called him dad. And, the song Hold On by the Jonas Brothers kept on playing, and it was so annoying. When I was watching this movie, I couldn't stay put for the entire thing. I kept on getting up to read a book or go on the computer, but I still kept the movie on, half watching it. This movie is definitely one of the worst Disney Channel Original Movies ever made.

Bridge to Terabithia
(2007)

excellent
When I saw the previews for this movie, I expected it to be completely different from the book. I believed that AnnaSophia Robb wouldn't do a good job being the Leslie that the book described, and I thought that the entire movie would just be Jess and Leslie's imagination with special effects. Although AnnaSophia Robb didn't look like the Leslie described in the book with hair shorter than a boy's and wearing boy clothes, she still did an excellent job in acting like an outgoing girl that was happy with life. And, although the previews just showed what the special effects were, the special effects only took about five minutes during the entire movie, and it's mostly about Jess and Leslie talking about how they think the creatures look like, and not showing. I also thought that Bailee Madison, who plays May Belle, was very cute for a little girl, and I thought that Josh Hutcherson, who plays Jess, was very good looking. But even though this movie wasn't what I expected, it still isn't a lot like the book, but the way the movie was put together was wonderful. It's not better than the book, but it's about the same, even if it wasn't like the book.

8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter
(2002)

cool
This show is awesome. I thought that the two episodes where Paul died were so sad; I actually cried. But the other shows were awesome; Kerry was my favorite character, because she was in "the dark side." I also thought that Bridget was funny because she was all perky. I also thought that guy who played Kyle was really, really cute. I loved it when Kerry made sarcastic remarks about everything. The guy who played Rory was cute, and Paul, played by John Ritter, was really funny. This whole entire TV show is funny, and I wish they still showed it on TV. when they did show it on TV, though, I watched it every single time it was on. The next time it shows, I will watch it over and over again.

Life with Derek: Marti the Monster
(2005)
Episode 9, Season 1

10
This episode of Life with Derek was so funny. I liked how Derek was like a really good big brother, and Marti was so cute. Actually, she is cute in every episode, but this episode was all about her, she this was the episode where she was cutest. There should be more episodes that revolve around Marti. My favorite line in the show was when Edwin said "You are a lucky girl!" That was because Marti made Derek dress up like a girl because she was playing makeup. And then Derek went out with a girl that Edwin had a crush on. The girl that Edwin had a crush on was nice, and if she was a real person, I know that I would like her. This show is excellent, and I like to watch it whenever it is on, because it is quite entertaining.

The Perfect Man
(2005)

fine
I didn't really like Hilary Duff who played Holly, but the story was okay. It was interesting about how Holly tried to get her mom and her friends uncle to hook up, but it wasn't nice. I would be really mad if someone did that to me, but I liked how everything turned out. I'm glad that at the end of the movie, Holly's family ended up staying in the same house, but I found it very ironic how they never even moved once in the middle of the movie, and only once at the beginning to help show the story of how Holly's mother moved after every time she got dumped. The story was fine, but the actors were bad. Nothing really seemed to be perfect at all, so I give this movie seven stars. It was fine, but not good or great.

Raise Your Voice
(2004)

If you look beyond Hilary Duff, you'll like this movie.
I liked this movie when it first came out, because I like Hilary Duff, but I don't really like her anymore because I find her annoying. I give this film an eight because now that I watch it, I find her really annoying. But, Oliver James is so cute! And, the guy who plays Kiwi is funny. He was in the show "Quintuplets," and my sister always told me that his character was mostly like me, and that was what I thought, too. I really like the story, though. When Terri saw the movie that her brother made that got her into the school, I cried because it was so sad. Terri and her brother were so close like me and my brother are, and if my brother died and did that, I would start sobbing, too. But although that part was so sad, at the end when Terri performed her song, it was so happy. Even though I am not a big Hilary Duff fan, I still liked how the song went, but I didn't like her voice or the "dance moves" she did on the stage. It was very tacky and her voice was whiny. This movie is worth watching, even if you hate Hilary Duff, because behind her horrible job at acting is a touching story that is worth knowing.

The Devil Wears Prada
(2006)

surprisingly nice
Last summer when this movie came out, my mom and my sister forced me to go see it with them, and I was hesitant to go because I had no idea what it was like, and I didn't think I would like it since it wasn't what I was used to. I knew that Meryl Streep was in it, and I knew who she was from "Music of the Heart," and I also knew who Anne Hathaway was from "Princess Diaries." The only reason I decided to go see the movie with my mom and my sister was because I knew who those actresses were. At first, I thought that I would just listen to my music for the whole movie, because I thought that I wouldn't like it, but the sound in the theater for the movie was so loud that I couldn't hear my iPod when i turned it up all the way, so I was stuck watching the movie. Surprisingly, I sat through the entire movie, looking at the screen, without leaving once to use the restroom, even when I had to go. Once the movie came out on DVD, I begged my mom to buy it, and she did, and I watch the movie over and over again.

Music of the Heart
(1999)

entertaining, inspirational, and musical
When I was in second grade, I started to play the violin because I loved the sound. After I started, my mom and dad kept urging me to watch "Music of the Heart" since it was about violins. I always said that I would watch it sometime, but I never got to it. I could never find the tape in our house, and then one night, it was on TV. I went into our living room to watch it, and then when it went to commercials, my dad gave me the tape and I went to my mom's room to watch it. I was surprised about how entertaining and inspiring it was. After I watched it, I immediately took my violin out and starting practicing. Whenever I watch the movie, I practice my violin afterward because I am so inspired to play my best. And, it isn't only inspiring for violin players; my sister plays the flute, and she is inspired to play her instrument well, too. "Music of the Heart" is an entertaining, inspirational, and musical movie that I'm sure will please any music lovers.

Sky High
(2005)

actors were great
I love this movie so much! Fantasy is one of my favorite kinds of movies. After I watched this movie, I looked it up on IMDb, and found out that Kelly Preston, one of my favorite actresses, was the mother. I also found out that Danielle Pannabaker, one of my least favorite actresses, played Layla. Ironically, Layla was my favorite character in the movie, and I was surprised that an actress I didn't like played my favorite character in a movie. I also found out that Kurt Russell played the father, and I knew who Kurt Russell was from the movie "Dreamer." My sister had a crush on the actor who played Warren, especially after he smiled in the movie. I didn't really like him though, but then I looked his name up on IMDb, and then I found pictures of him on google, and I was surprised about how cute he was with short hair. I wouldn't go crazy about him and call myself Mrs. Strait or anything else obsessive, but I would look for other movies he was in. The actors in this movie were great.

What a Girl Wants
(2003)

touching story
The story for "What a Girl Wants" is touching. It is about how Daphne goes to the other side of the world to find her father, and she tries to have a really good relationship with him, but it just didn't work out because Daphne was a city girl from New York, but her father was all perfect and was trying to become the prime minister of England, and he was all proper. I loved the end when Daphne was at a wedding, clearing the tables because she was a waitress, because her father unexpectedly showed up and told Daphne how much he loved her. And, it was so sweet when she told him that she loved him, too, and she called him Dad, unlike Henry like she called throughout the entire film. Then, she and her dad went to the dance floor to finally have the father daughter dance that she was hoping for throughout the whole film. When I walked out of the movie theater, I nearly had tears in my eyes, and I was only in third grade when I went to see it.

The Princess Diaries
(2001)

good
I really liked this movie. I first watched it when I was seven, and I loved to watch it. Now that I'm thirteen, I have had more and more fun watching it. Now that I'm older, I can understand more, and I've read the books, and although the movie is not anything like the books, I still love them both. Also, I've started listening to Mandy Moore's music (Mandy Moore played Lana in the movie). I found her song "Stupid Cupid" on limewire, which was in the movie. When I was little, I liked the song, but I didn't have it on a disk or anything, so I would always fast forward to the part with the song in it, and rewind it over and over again to listen to it. But now that I'm older, I found "Stupid Cupid" on limewire, and I put it on a disk so I could listen to it whenever I wanted to without turning on the TV and all that. Six years after the movie came out, I still enjoy watching it. I got the movie on DVD, and I love to watch it when I don't have school. I'm sure that any girls would love to watch it, and maybe boys would want to watch it, too.

Life with Derek
(2005)

Awesome, awesome, and awesome!
Life with Derek is an awesome show! I love to watch it. I'm not totally obsessed with it, but if I'm bored and I turn on the TV and see that it's on, I will watch it. But, I don't check on the Disney Channel website to make sure when it is on and then get upset that I don't get to watch it. I mostly like this show because Michael Seater, who plays Derek, is a hot boy, and Ariel Waller, who plays Marti, is cute for a little girl. I wish that Disney Channel showed this show more often, because then I would have more of a chance to watch it. I don't check when it's on, because I'm not obsessed with the show. That's why I like it; it attracts me, but doesn't make me obsessive. I like the different plots it has.

Reba
(2001)

The Characters are too Different from Each other
This show is really funny, but the characters are too different from one another. Reba is the serious mother who tries to make the best out of bad situations every once in a while, but not all the time. Brock is the ex-husband who is dumb and cannot balance his life with Barbara Jean, Reba, and at his dental office. Barbara Jean is the annoying, perky stepmother who annoys anyone except Brock. Cheyenne is the teenager who was pregnant, and she misses her life before she was pregnant, and she keeps trying to go back to the life, even though she has a daughter. Van is Cheyenne's husband, and he only seems to like her, but not love her. Kyra is both the annoying little sister, but also the strong older sister who tries to stand everything. Jake is the cute little boy who gets weird thoughts into his head, but still tries to be a regular younger child. Kyra is my favorite character, because she's not very funny, but more serious. That is the kind of character I like to act out when I act in school plays. Barbara Jean is my least favorite character because she seems to have a fake perkiness. It is like the character wants to be perky, but she isn't really perky. All in all, the characters are way too different from one another. If you love one character, then you'll definitely hate another character. This show can partway satisfy anyone, but it can't fully satisfy someone. But, on the plus side, it is funny, clean, and it deals with real life situations. Although the characters are a bit too wacky and everywhere, this show is great because it is appropriate for any age, it makes people laugh out loud, but it also makes people go serious and actually think about the plot. Other shows just go on and off, and no one actually thinks about anything, but after Reba,I'm sure that anyone would spend time thinking, despite the large difference between all of the characters.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody: Maddie Checks In
(2005)
Episode 3, Season 1

awesome
"Maddie Checks In" is awesome because it is mostly about being yourself. I like it because it doesn't tell you to be yourself and not care about what other people think. In the show, Maddie tries to be someone she's not to get Jason to like her, and, sure, Jason did like her for the person she wasn't, but he liked her even more for the person she really was. Usually, when a show is about being yourself, they show that the other person doesn't like them because of who the person really is, and that just encourages children to be someone they're not. I believe that if the writers of a show want the show to be about being yourself, they should show the advantages besides not having to sneak around.
