This movie is one of the best war movies hands down. The movie has a very good and closely true story of an event in World War I. The movie is very brutal, it is very sad and shows the truth of war. Brutal, depressing, and honestly a really sad movie. The movie is also done very well, perfect shots, great acting, and effects are well done. Amazing and one of the best war movies. Masterpiece 10/10.

This movie is really one of the best getaway drive/criminal trying to escape crime movie. The story has been done so many times some good and bad but this is executed greatly. Ryan Goslings mysterious and antisocial character is a driver, doing jobs legal or illegal for cash, he finds a woman he likes and begins caring for her and her child until the father comes back from jail. The father is in a deep debt and Ryan Gosling tries to help but things turn and go bad. Very good movie.

The movie is realistic and merciless (though at times it may be unrealistic), the movie is not afraid to kill off a character just out of nowhere, it is very dark and violent movie. The story is very engaging and great, a man left for dead by his squad and his journey to revenge. This movie is a true masterpiece 10/10.

The characters were good, the effects and chase scenes were great, and the music was good and it was a bit funny at times. This movie is definitely pretty gory and could disturb some people but its nothing over the top, if you want to see something disturbing see "Salo and the 120 Days of Sodom". This movie is very suspenseful and does has a perfect setting, a house in the middle of the woods during a snowstorm, just a perfect feeling of isolation and being trapped. The movie is set mostly in one room the majority of the movie and is still very entertaining, trying to figure out how he is going to escape captivity. Hope keeps dying more and more as time goes on.
