Nightmare City (1980)

What a waste

This film makes me angry because it could really have been a gem of its period and instead it ends up being ruined with one of the stupidest and most banal endings that the world has ever devised, an ending that will then be taken up by many other films with the result always being tremedo except in a few very rare cases. Watching the film one can easily ignore the not so excellent special effects also because the film is still from the eighties because it still manages very well to entertain and give the spectator a strange sense of anxiety throughout the film, but the ending really makes you throw away everything the film and it bothers me tremendously.

Wow

A fairly underrated film that deserves a little more consideration because it represents a small light in the Italian cinema scene and demonstrates that sometimes even with a simple story you can make beautiful films. The film is very beautiful and well branched in its stories which all have a very valid moral and even the twists are very valid and looking particularly at the evolution of the characters the latter are also really well constructed. So in conclusion I recommend watching this film.

Hercules (1983)

Bad idea

The screenwriters of this film must have surely thought that it was a brilliant idea to merge robots with Greek mythology, it's a shame that their consideration was wrong because it is actually a terrible idea, but really how can you come up with something like that and thinking that this stuff could really work and be nice to look at, for heaven's sake, the film is so strange and particular that in the end it's even entertaining but still it's really bad and you can't overlook everything that's wrong with the film.

This film is an absolute masterpiece, fun and entertaining from start to finish with truly brilliant jokes and gimmicks that make it truly magnificent. I would like to add that we don't see many funny and senseless films like this anymore and this is a real shame because this type of film gives lightness and beautiful moments to all spectators. So in my opinion this film is highly recommended to anyone who appreciates comedy and light films but full of entertainment and beauty. In conclusion I want to say that this film is beautiful.

The Land of Dreams (2022)

Boooooring

I start from the assumption that I personally like musicals quite a bit and therefore in general I tend to evaluate them all a little too positively but in this case I feel forced not to do so because you can't be good with this film because it is extremely and terribly boring and confusing. , not even all the choreography or the strange and ambitious plot manages to generate interest in the film. Then the plot is handled really badly and even if very particular it is still terribly poorly made and it's a shame because if at least the plot had been handled a little better the film would perhaps have been acceptable.

Already from the plot I anticipated that this film would be a small action comedy pearl and it turned out to be just that, a small masterpiece of its genre, a fun and very light film which actually deals with a quite heavy theme if looked at in a detached manner. So in general the film is very good and above all it is really very entertaining and on top of that the stellar and very perfect cast only enriches the already beautiful film even more. In conclusion I would dare to say that this film absolutely must be watched, but everything must be done very lightly because even if the film is quite violent it still wants to be very light.

I don't know how the writing of this story went but merging Leopardi as a child with a story of similar werewolves I don't know what a great idea it was, yes certainly a rather original idea because even just imagining it is truly imaginative and therefore it certainly takes talent but that doesn't mean the stuff works. That is, if it had been a normal horror film without historical characters it would have been enough but the addition of Italian poets makes you smile but nothing more and actually ruins the purpose of the film a bit.

The Wrong Daughter (2018 TV Movie)

This film is extremely particular because it is one of the very few films where the beginning is cute, the development is horrendous and the ending is cute, so I recommend seeing the beginning and the end skipping the middle because in the meantime you understand anyway and skip the boredom and terrible annoyance that the central part of this film gives you. So in general I can recommend watching this film with a peace of mind and be prepared for the disgust you will witness because otherwise there will only be terrible annoyance and resentment in seeing this film.

Revelation (2001)

My goodness, what horrible rubbish, at the beginning the plot even seemed acceptable or even beautiful but it doesn't take long to understand what horrible rubbish this film actually is. First of all, it must be said that the plot is developed in a very bad way and the further it goes on the worse the situation becomes because the plot actually worsens, at the beginning it is not clear where the film wants to go and this is a good thing because as soon as you understand it you can also understand the disgust of this film. Speaking of the only positive the acting isn't too bad.

The Manitou (1978)

In my opinion this film has too punitive and negative an evaluation and deserves a reevaluation because it is a good horror film, yes it has enough defects but many are also due to the years in which this film was released. So let's say the positive aspects first, first of all latrama is very cute and quite original as well as managed in a quite coherent and beautiful way. Speaking of the rest, the hand-made special effects are really beautiful to look at even if obviously in the twenty-first century they are slightly laughable.

Walled In (2009)

Truly inglorious evaluation for one of the most underrated films that exist. The film is really very good especially thanks to the very interesting plot and the unexpectedly very good acting. I really don't understand all this negativity in the ratings when there are thrillers out there that would pale in comparison to this one with extremely higher ratings, with this I don't mean to say that the film is a masterpiece because I recognize it is full of flaws but more credit should be given to the the fact that they tried to make a good film and didn't fail.

Saturn 3 (1980)

The slowest robot ever

A film that is certainly ambitious and clearly wants to be a gripping science fiction thriller, but fails above all in the thriller because obviously as a science fiction film it is also generally acceptable because it has all the elements of the genre and with these elements it also manages well to arouse curiosity the spectator, but as a thriller it is a more unique than rare shame because you never, under any circumstances feel the danger and this is mainly due to the fact that the main villain is quite ridiculous and that the robot is devastatingly slow, one wonders just how is it possible that something so slow can put intelligent people like the protagonists in difficulty.

Orion and the Dark (2024)

In my opinion, this cartoon should be watched because it represents a true masterpiece of cinematography for children which aims to teach how to face the fear of the dark in a nice and very profound way. A film that crosses different stories and timescales while always remaining faithful to the message it wants to convey without ever getting lost, an instructive message thanks to the beautiful moral. In my opinion, the cartoon is suitable for everyone and must absolutely be watched if in general you are a fan of cartoons or in general if you have children.

Labyrinthus (2014)

Horrible special effects, let's start like this, but everything else is very nice, especially the plot which is really well done because it combines a classic youth adventure story with a bit of video game science fiction which gives a little spice to everything. With films like this one must first of all understand that the target audience is children and in my opinion, considering the film as a film for children it acquires a lot of value as it is light and entertaining and even leaves room for a final moral which, even if obvious, is always very important in this kind of film.

Squadron 303 (2018)

From my point of view, the film is quite underrated because it deserves at least a passing grade without any shadow of a doubt because it tells a valid war story in a very beautiful and engaging way without being heavy or slow in any way. Compared to many other films about war, this one stands out in my opinion for its extreme lightness which is very positive but obviously sometimes leads to small errors or drops in tension that make the viewer slightly lose. In conclusion I would dare to say that the focus on extreme lightness greatly benefited the film.

Death at a Funeral (2010)

From what I know this film is a kind of remake but since I haven't seen the original I will evaluate it as if it were unique. So the film is a very normal American comedy with a very normal, very vulgar and cheeky kind of comedy that has no middle ground and it's stuff that even in judgment has no middle ground because either you like it or you don't like it, you can't just be a banal middle ground. In general, in my opinion the film is quite funny and has some very valid moments, the advice I would give is to watch it with friends to have a laugh without thinking too much about the plot or anything else.

Apartment 12 (2000)

A useless waste of time

This film is a horrendous disaster for several reasons, first of all the plot is banal but it gets over it anyway, the problem is that the whole film seems to have been made without the slightest effort and therefore the result is a boring film full of useless parts and meaningless that ends exactly as everyone would expect without twists and without the slightest involvement of the viewer. This film is like a story that you listen to distractedly just waiting for it to end because you can't stand watching something boring like this anymore. Last thing to say is that the beginning of the film is so senseless as to be unacceptable.

Evaluating many films I must say that in general I really like films of this type and therefore my opinion for this film too can only be extremely positive because this film is a very classic teen comedy drama that makes you laugh and entertains a lot. In my opinion, the film is one that is absolutely worth seeing if you are passionate about this type of film because it is extremely light but at the same time still manages to communicate something to you, a movie that even if extremely banal is also very valid.

Dave (1993)

I don't know if it's a positive or negative comment because it depends on personal tastes but there are almost no such light, genuine and flowing comedies nowadays, because this comedy is one of those that you watch without putting in the effort to see it just to move on lightness for a while, with a very nice and particular plot even if it's really linear which even manages to deal with social and corruption issues but does so in such a light way that they practically don't affect the viewer. In conclusion I must say that this comedy is as light as it is worth seeing.

Creed III (2023)

Third chapter of the spiritual sequel saga of Rocky, I start by saying that even if it may seem strange even if this is the third chapter and in any case the first film I have seen of this trilogy and I must say that everything is understandable very well even without having seen any of the predecessors and as a story itself it is very beautiful, compelling and full of twists. I must therefore say that the film surprised me in a positive way and above all it really entertained me completely without ever disappointing me from start to finish. So as a final comment I say that now I will watch all the other films too.

Jexi (2019)

I read the plot and let's say that the film didn't inspire me much, in fact I was ready to see yet another horrible senseless and uninspired comedy and instead this film amazed me extremely by revealing itself to be a small pearl in the panorama of romantic comedies. This film is genuinely very funny and also really cute and analyzes in a really nice way the dependence that many people have on electronic devices, showing us how the latter are useful but are not actually everything. Really very cute.

If they asked me for a word to describe this film, obviously in my opinion the right word would be boring, because the film is extremely boring and it is absurd that it is boring because the plot is something incredible because it is a journey into space but in reality it is a journey into the concept of humanity and solitude done really well and moreover that spider is really done in a beautiful and extremely realistic way and finally Sandler's interpretation is masterful, but despite everything the film is still boring.

Kids in Love (2016)

This film is terribly underrated because it is a classic romantic comedy for teenagers and in this it works very well. I really don't understand the low rating because the film is very entertaining from many points of view, the acting is really good and the plot, although banal, is really very well written and for a romantic film for young people it is really very beautiful. So let's say that it's true the film is banal and to enjoy it you have to overcome some gaps in logic, but apart from this the film personally seemed really extremely valid to me.

I have to say that I really liked the first film but this one disappointed me ridiculously, everything that was good in the previous film is completely thrown away or ignored here, making this film particularly stupid. In reality it's not all to waste because the violent and fight scenes are really done quite well but apart from that there's nothing good. Let's start with the protagonist who, unlike the first, is completely useless in this film except in the final moments and this is a real shame because in this film he is just a helpless victim of events and so let's say that the management was not at all satisfactory .

Guy Ritchie's the Covenant (I) (2023)

Film about war that isn't really about war but more about the concept of honor and brotherhood towards one's army colleagues. Film that essentially wants to tell more about a relationship of ''friendship'' and sacrifice rather than a mere war between two armies and this in reality is the great advantage of the film which becomes very interesting precisely by departing from the classic and all the same films about war. In my opinion this film really deserves a lot because it entertains by always keeping the level of tension very high, without ever dampening it.
