Overcomer
(2019)

Who am I? a good question to ask ourselves
I watched this movie with my church family, it's full house that day, a lot of people watching it in Indonesia. It's better than I thought. The most important thing is the message, it's honest and makes me ask myself, who am I? Cinematography is good, I especially really enjoy the view from the long distance race. The acting is believable, especially from leads, you can really tell that they have a warm eyes. There is plot hole. But I think this movie deserves your time. I hope for more Christian movies in the future.

Game Night
(2018)

So much funny moments that entire teather filled with laughter
While watching for the trailers, me and my friends decided to watch Game Night. And this is better than what we expected. From the beginning to the end, we thought that there's a reality in the game they decided to play. But actually it's more than that. We are laugh so much and we all agree, this is one of the best comedy movie. No sex scenes, though the jokes refers some, but i'm glad they focus more on the game and characters involved in. Rachel McAdams can be comedian, she's just so natural and I love her chemistry with Jason Bateman here. Oh, please stay until credit title, there are funny clips you gotta watch it yourself.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
(2017)

Nice sequel! Better than my expectation
I actually come to watch this movie with low expectation. I watched 1st Jumanji and it was really great (and I watched it a couple times). The sequel is a little different with it's successor, with the theme is still same, a game that involved real adventures to it's player. Four teenagers sucked into the game, and they become a character they chose (which is very different from their real life). The movie is so funny, and if you played RPGs game you will find this really entertaining. The humour is still suitable for young audiences, so it's a family movie too. And while it's a humour adventures movie, it still have a good message. So I really recommend it, hope you'll enjoy it too.

Very inspiring, romantic but won't make you cringe
So I'm not a fans of romantic movies. But this is not just about the love between Robin and Diana. To die is actually easier than to live, in Robin's condition. But he choose to live, as Diana keep staying on his side, even on the hardest time. She's pregnant, Robin suddenly paralyzed. People around Robin and Diana are also amazing, friends that doesn't leave you. I really think that Andrew will get an Oscar in the future. His acting keeps getting better. He shows all expression with his face expression, but not over the top. As for Claire Foy, she's a right cast for Diana. Her sadness, anger, bravery, all shown in her eyes. You will also enjoy amazing cinematography...thumbs up for Andy Serkis and team. Hope to see more of your movies in future.

Unbroken

This man is really extraordinary
I wish I can see more of Louis Zamperini. At some point, I'm glad, Louis Zamperini's story is told, and he still alive at the moment this movie was made. There's even a photograph of Louis and Angelina together. I will say this is a good movie. It's not amazingly good, but it's good. There are some part that I wish to be shorter, for example, when Louis and friends floating in the sea. Well, cut half of it and give it for another important thing. The woman sat beside me was crying (and I try hard to hold my tears), and I know that Louis's life is still touching a lot of people, despite that the movie wasn't complete. Hopefully after watching the movie, more people will get to know who Louis was and why he changed, what moves him to become an extraordinary person like we know today. I never read the book before, just read some articles about him. And now after I watch the movie, I want to read the book too. Rest in peace Louis.
