Bad Santa meets Dallas Billy Bob Thornton is the only reason to watch this show besides the eye candy but I just find myself wanting to turn off the volume in every Ali Larter/daughter scene. The story line could have been pretty good but his girls just make it a hard to watch show. BBT holds it together otherwise I wouldn't have kept watching. Probably only watch season 2 because of BBT but even he gets kind of old if he's the only thing holding it all together. Writing isn't great and the roles are kind of weak. The best part besides BBT is Cooper's saga with Ariana. It's the only part that seems real.

Just another zombie show. Sure add in a few different themes, different travel itinerary, different cause and cure, different characters, updated societal themes and different villains it looks a little different but it's the same nonsense. Like some other HBO shows ( Boardwalk Empire, Succession, etc) its differentiation is that they're well made, well acted even written ok but mostly do nothing for me or are unwatchable. I gave it a 4 because of the writing and acting and production. This is still a zombie apocalypse and since George Romero came up with the Night of the Living Dead, really no one has changed the script. Don't waste your time....
