Blade II
(2002)

Nice
Blade 2 had a been-there-seen-that effect on me. It`s not that different to any other movie of his genre that i`ve seen. But I have to say, the action made up for it all. Lots of martial arts and stuff. It also stars Hong Kong movie star Donnie Yen, which was a surprise for me. But either way he was very cool and played his part well. Overall the action kicks ass, but the story could use a little help.

The Mummy Returns
(2001)

SFX is good
The story is your average indiana jones plot. I haven`t seen the first one but I enjoyed watching the second one, the plot is okay but what I enjoyed most about the movie was the special effects, the water rising, the little creatures in the jungle and everything else made the movie a enjoyable to watch. But in the end it was easy to guess what happens. I won`t ruin it but let`s just say it`s easy to guess. I give it a rank of 8/10.

Rush Hour 2
(2001)

Kick Butt
Jackie and Chris make RUSH HOUR 2 a success ( not forgetting Bret Ratner and other cast and crew of course). Lee and Carter are back together again and this time the tables are turned. Rush hour 2 is mainly funny on the text. Especially Chris Tucker, everyone complains about the racist jokes but then it`s what makes the movie funny I`m not offended by it. Rush hour 2 is funny really Funny. If I had a ranking it 9/10. This one is way better than the first one.

Shun liu ni liu
(2000)

Cool
This movie is a die hard, blow`em up, non stop action type of movie. The action is fast paced. The best scene is the part with apartment buildings they`re jumping up and down and left and right through windows like rabbits. Add that to Matrix like special effects scenes and there you got a movie called " time and tide". But you might have to watch the movie a few more times before you get the plot.

Swordfish
(2001)

Very good.
This movie is one of my favourites. It`s brilliant in everything it has. I won`t give you my favourite scene because it`ll ruin it (hint: it`s at the beginning.) The plot is okay, but it has a good twist at the end. I`d say 8/10. Not such a brilliant smart plot but still it had it`s advantages.

Exit Wounds
(2001)

it was ok.
Exit wounds was okay. I heard that it had plenty of special effects, but there`s not much at all. They`re still great when they kick in though. It`s all similiar to Romeo must die really. So if you watched Romeo must die you`ve pretty much seen Exit wounds.

Dak ging san yan lui
(1999)

Kick ass.
Duc gen sun yun lui kicks ass !!!!!!!! I`ve never seen a action movie as good as this. Tse, Fung and Lee are cool as their characters. The action is pumping and non-stop as our three heros try to stop a notorious gangster named Akatora from reeking havoc in Hong Kong. Top notch and thumbs up. If I had a rating..it`d be 4/5.

Romeo Must Die
(2000)

pretty good.
Joel silver may have gained success with the matrix but it doesn`t mean that every movie that uses special effect would be good to watch. But then I found it pretty good to watch the plot that is. The plot was good as it has a twist in the end. But as for the action and everything. I didn`t like it much. Jet Li seemed to rely too much on strings and the way he spoke english made it seem like he just learnt it off set.

The Matrix
(1999)

VERY VERY VERY EXCELLENT.
The matrix has to be the coolest sci-fi flick around. Even the shops are selling it at a higher price than new releases. I`m not just talking about the whopping gravity warping special effects. I`m also talking about plot, which is smart and provides a background to all the gravity warping. Like they say, no one can be told what the matrix is it has to be seen to be believed so WATCH IT !!!!!...if you dont you don`t know what you`re missing.
