The Night Agent
(2023)

Extremely Discounted Jason Bourne
The series may appeal to those seeking a somewhat unrealistic premise - a beer-drinking age teenage actor from rural Alabama who takes on the role of a savvy intelligence agent.

However, the lead actor bears a striking resemblance to Jason Bourne, and the plotline can be perceived as implausible and lacking in depth.

Some may view the storyline as somewhat cheesy, and the overall premise feels dated in the modern era of entertainment.

As viewers, we have evolved beyond the traditional tropes of FBI and CIA secret agent shows, and it is time for filmmakers to update their approach and offer new and engaging narratives that reflect the present day.

MH370: The Plane That Disappeared
(2023)

Conspiracy Theory Festival - based on "when in doubt, blame russia"
This so-called documentary on Netflix is a complete disgrace! It's poorly done, ugly, and filled with outright lies and conspiracy theories. It's so transparently biased that it appears to have been funded and produced by the US military war machine to scapegoat Russia. How utterly ridiculous!

This sham of a documentary is an insult to the victims who tragically lost their lives, and it's appalling that Netflix would even consider airing such garbage. Shame on you, Netflix, for perpetuating this baseless and offensive narrative. The producers and creators of this abomination should be ashamed of themselves for contributing to the spread of disinformation and fueling dangerous and unfounded accusations. Do not waste your time with this appalling excuse for a documentary.

It was evident that the filmmakers had a specific conspiracy theory agenda and were cherry-picking information to support their point of view, without exploring the topic fully. There was no attempt at presenting both sides of the story, and the interviews with the so-called experts seemed dishonest and uninspired.

I would strongly advise against watching this conspiracy theory-filled documentary on Netflix. It was a waste of time and lacked any redeeming qualities. It was poorly executed, biased, and lacked any depth or real insight into the subject matter. Save yourself the trouble and skip this one.

Lost in Space
(2018)

I couldn't stop laugh the laugh of derision
Even before I clicked on the first episode, I wondered how Netflix would handle the SJW angle ?!? You see I read the introduction which said it was a family lost in space. Now that presents a big dilemma... how will they accommodate multiple races into the cast, if they are all 1 family? Then I surmised the cast will be a white family that had adopted a black kid... just a whimsical assumption that made me chuckle. Then I clicked play, and lol and behold! A white family cast with a token black girl. I stopped watching because I couldn't stop laughing at the forced multi-racial...

You see I've decided to only watch shows that have cast that makes sense, not shows that try to be PC, just so that they can relieve their white guilt.

O Homem do Futuro
(2011)

One of the excellent Time Travel Movies
An excellent treat of a time travel movie! The protagonist not only defines the time travel hypothesis but also underlines the impact. I don't want to say anything more, so that I don't spoil the movie for anybody. Must watch movie if you like and understand time travel paradoxes!

13 Reasons Why
(2017)

Stupid SJW show
all guys are gay looking beta male ... all girls are annoying know-it-all type...

acting is below average, with no emotional range story... does not build up as expected.... this is one more of those new SJW generation shows that Netflix shits out every day.

The Killing
(2011)

Most gripping and realistic crime thriller I have ever seen
Dexter, Bones, Shits, Stubs and all other series can go suck (round objects)... This is the real murder mystery, real crime series. Hands down, the best I have ever seen.

The story is interesting The characters are realistic The suspense is gripping The acting is top notch The background music is hauntingly ominous.

There are no likable and unlikable characters in this, because the show strikes the right balance in showing why people behave the way they do.

I especially liked the silly humor that the character of detective holder runs with and the psychopathic lead lady.

The Last Days on Mars
(2013)

Crappiest Mars movie ever made
This was by far the most crappiest of the Mars movies ever made! And there were Mars movies which actually had Matt Daemon growing food out of actual crap... but this movie had more crap than that movie.

The plot was stupid... there was no scientific explanation given behind why a bacteria would turn people into zombies.

Acting was horrible and flat, with almost zero range of emotions.

The set was a shoddy rip-off off the movie Alien.

The story was nonsensical! Even after knowing that the zombies would attack them and turn them, most of the crew would just stand there instead of running away, or try to talk to zombies.. or shout NO! NO!

I mean, when a zombie attacks you, you run, you don't stand and scream NO! NO!

Stupid story writing, worst acting, crappy interpersonal interactions between the crew.

Don't waste your time on this pathetic movie!

The 4400
(2004)

Perfect example of how to ruin a nice plot
The idea had a huge potential to be a very interesting sci-fi show, but they screwed it so bad... I couldn't watch past half of second episode of first season...

the lead duo have no chemistry, they look like two employees at a DMV office rather than mystery solving partners!

In the second season.. the lead female couldn't be more dumber... instead of leaving the Bailey dude alone... they shoot him for no reason!

The other characters are way too much of a cliché...

Its a pandering set of characters, none of them alive or involving.

The writers should just go jump into a shark infested waters.

Warehouse 13
(2009)

Astoundingly Stupid Show
Warehouse 13 starts off as a very promising sci-fi TV show, but soon devolves into a silly, illogical, improbable, unimaginably stupid, awful piece of junk ever to be seen on TV.

Cast Review:

Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer) - starts off as a promising character in season 1 with goofy comedy similar to the lead in Bones. By the mid of season 2, he is insufferable and irritating to the max.

Joanne Kelly (Myka) - Instead of exploring the potential of a romantic involvement for the female lead, the writers make her dry, uninteresting, moronic character. She also promisingly delivers the stupidity of her character.

Saul Rubinek (Artie) - This is one of the redeeming characters of the show, he is a good actor playing a reasonably interesting character on the show. The character builds up and keeps the viewer involved in his story and the mystique surrounding the Warehouse.

Allison Scagliotti (Claudia) - She is the saving grace for this otherwise pathetic TV show. Her character is both interesting, witty and enjoyable. She is the probably the only character on the show who appears passionate, reasonable and involving.

Rest of the cast have either boring or irrelevant characters which appear to have been built to just fill in the time by building up a non-interesting storyline around them.

The most abysmal pitfall of the show is the plot holes. Writers are a bunch of lunatics and idiots who would not know sci-fi if it came and chopped their asses off. They appear to be a set of loonies who just write whatever crap comes to their mind just to get paid.

There are astounding errors in logic, in situations where the supposed warehouse agents (who have secret service training) could easily stop a disaster from occurring, they just stand around criminals talking to them like morons until the criminal executes the crime. Then they try to desperately deal with repurcussions. In some episodes, they lock away relatively innocent people who use harmless artifacts for lifetime or either end up killing them. On the other hand, they let criminals who kill innocent people go. There is no rhyme or reason for anything they do!

The plot lines of some of the episodes borders on criminally stupid.

Nikita
(2010)

A Worthy Nikita Series
When I thought about watching the new Nikita series, my expectations were low and felt it might not have the mystique of the previous series.

But I was in for a surprise. Maggie Q is awesome as Nikita. The series exceeds the expectations for a sequel kind of story. All actors bring their characters to life and keep the old Nikita mystique intact, some even make it better than the previous series.

Shane West does a good job in his role as Michael, bringing in a new funny guy dimension to that character. The chemistry between Maggie and Shane is very good.

Each episode has a good plot, with some episodes bordering on awesome! They are fast paced, action is good and story line is engrossing.

Star Trek: The Next Generation
(1987)

Beautiful series
I just bought the entire star trek TNG (The Next Generation) on blu ray. I am writing this to express my thoughts and feelings about this series.

Star trek series, especially TNG is the most awesome series I have ever watched. It is an incredible series, which intrigues the mind with 100% sensible science fiction, satisfies the emotions with an incredible array of human experience, fires up imagination with the unlimited possibilities, provides comic relief with antics of some of the most adorable characters ever produced like commander DATA (an android life form), raises ethical and moral questions and dilemmas which will puzzle the mind and finally opens up the mind for limitless thinking that the human mind is really capable of.

Gene Roddenberry the creator of both Star Trek original series in 1970s and the fitting sequel TNG in 1990s is a brilliant writer and producer, to understand the hidden meanings in his work is like watching a series of Matrix like movies.

Each episode of TNG is an inlook into the most basic notions of human existence, some of them intense enough to change your outlook towards a facet of life. An episode called "Inner Light", for example defines the human existence all by itself. Episodes dealing with DATA's desperate attempts to become like a human showing how invaluable our lives as humans is. The episodes dealing with the character Q (played by John de Lancie) exposes the enormity of the universe and the limitless capabilities of existence while exposing the frivolous nature of our day to day lives. The episodes dealing with battle, honor, death and morality expose the complex constructs of mind and society that we create and follow to justify our limitations. The final episode of the final season is a masterpiece, which shows the achievements possible by resolute human efforts. Episodes like "Cause and Effect" are so correct in their science fiction material, nothing can ever come close (Star Trek movie recently released is a stupid blabber in comparison, created only for commercial purposes). The episode I liked the most, "Survivors" opens up the mind to limitless possibilities of existence, shedding the notions of justice, human limitations, limitations of time, space or possibilities.

You would not enjoy watching TNG if you did not watch the original series, which is flimsy in comparison to the latter.
