Street Legal would have to be one of New Zealands most successful dramas - up there with the likes of Shortland Street (in its tenth year). It is currently in its third season and judging by the ratings it has given the TV2 Network there will be more to come. The popularity of the show could be because the main character in the show (Jay Laga'aia) was in the hit Aussie drama Water Rats, but overall Street Legal is a very well acted and well written drama.

Although Roswell struggled in America it has been a big hit in New Zealand getting better ratings than shows such as Smallville and Dark Angel and gets the best ratings in its timeslot. I regret to say that Season 3 hasn't been as good as the first two seasons but the show still has great storylines, characters and combines drama and sci-fi very well. I thought this show would have potential to last a bit longer than 3 years and it will be severely missed by its kiwi fans.
