I started watching this in high school and it used to pass the time. Now with Tivo I watch 6 soaps (Y&R, ATWT, GH, OLTL, AMC & DOOL)... out of all the soaps, Days is definitely the worst BY FAR. It's uneventful, boring and slow. Really naive and repetitive story lines. They drag nonsense out for months and even years sometimes. I literally fast forward every episode, to the point that it takes me a minute to understand the point of the whole episode. It's just dreadful. I was so excited that the Dimera storyline finally ended years ago, but now it's back. WHY? The Dimera storyline is so horrible and boring and unrealistic. Days really needs to pay attention to General Hospital and see what a soap can do... it CAN be fast-paced and engaging!

Yes at times this was cheesy and too "soap-like", but that's what it was supposed to be, so for a soap opera, this was the best and most exciting soap opera I have ever seen. We were all TIVOing it like crazy, my friends loved it, we talked about it, even my Mom watched it nightly and was also hooked. I'm 24 years old and it's hard for me to find decent shows that I don't think are extremely cheesy! And in my eyes, this was definitely a winner. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it deserves an award of any sort, but definitely the best MyNetworkTV will EVER do. The new shows... "American Heiress" and "Saints & Sinners" Wow that's a BUST, cheese factor of 100 right away, predictable story lines from the first episode. I miss all the hot people on Watch Over Me, and most of all the SONG!!!
