The Mandalorian
(2019)

TBH, I'm not even sure if Season 3 was...
...The Mandalorian Season 3 or Bo Katan Season 1.

It felt like the plot could have been compressed into about half as many episodes which made the show drag on a bit. I like Bo Katan, but it almost feels like they are writing Mando off the show.

The writing suffers when compared to previous seasons, there are glaring drops in quality with the acting (sometimes) and the fight sequences (alarmingly often).

Mando has become a passenger in his own show, tied to Grogu due to Disney's fear to have them spend any time apart.

If Star Wars wouldn't be dead already, this once beloved show with hope for the brand shows that there is no hope, and Disney should not move forward with anything else Star Wars.

Pirate Gold of Adak Island
(2022)

They should have made a documentary...
...about Adak island in World War 2 and the role it played in retaking Attu and Kiska Island which were invaded by the Japanese Army.

But no, instead they chose to make another "Reality TV" format about an imaginary pirate who "totally surely" buried gold there. Yeah, sure.

Source for the pirate's story is either trust me bro or Twitter or Redditt. Not that anybody would care about that to begin with.

Then they cast the worst and most talentless yokels they could find at the back of a Alabama 7/11 at 2 a.m., and et voila there it is another "quality" reality tv format.

Thor: Love and Thunder
(2022)

Thor: Bore And Blunder
So basically, it´s the same cringey jokes with underwhelming CGI just like Ragnarok.

Ragnarok, a movie, that turned the Asgardian apocalypse, into a punchline for dumb jokes, but everybody was praising it.

Thor was my favorite Marvel movie back when Marvel was actually cool. If I wasn't completely burnt out with the MCU at this point I might have the energy to be upset by this abomination of a movie.

Taika Waititi is the director version of Ryan Reynolds! Sometimes he is amazing when he is restrained and thoughtful but most of the times he does the same thing over and over doing his thing no matter what the movie calls for.

But at least they gave Natalie Portperson some nice cgi arms, tbh, she almost looked like a real human.

Warrior Nun
(2020)

Get to the point!
Why is it that every US Netflix show has this absolutely uninteresting sidestories nobody cares about.

Get to the point and spare us the unneccessary sidestory with these spoiled rich brats and all that "I'm jealous because you have the Halo and not me" crap.

It's a figurative and literal story about the fight of good versus evil, so tell that story about it and not Malaga, Spain, 90210, ffs.

Also tone down that obnoxious American female nun, the rest of the world has had enough of that! We're sick and tired of that "I'm a such bad*ss from da hood" crap!

Tbh, 10 episodes for the first season were 5 episodes too much, even an editor with marginal traces of talent could easily cut these first 5 episodes down to 1 episode without missing the main storyline by an inch.

Too long, too contrived, too many cardboard characters aka Lillith and the "Girl from da hood" nun.

I really do hope that season 2 gets better, as the story in itself has massive potential.

Morbius
(2022)

The morbiest movie of all times!
I have never morbed like this in my entire existence on this planet, CGI was morbiuosly morbin tier level and Jared Leto's acting was morbiously morbidly morbin.

The quote "It's morbin time" opened my third eye and made me elevate to the next plane of existence.

I rate this masterpiece of movie making morbidly morbin /10.

Halo
(2022)

Worse than my already low expectations
Just another franchise ruined by talentless but politically correct hacks, nothing to see here. Disperse!

I rate this insipid garbage Kwan out of ten.

Red Notice
(2021)

I watched it and I'm struggling to even remember half of the movie.
This is the kind of movie you put on when a few friends come over to visit on Friday night.

It's not overly offensive and you can have a conversation and no one really cares that they are missing the plot. Best of all you can do it again in six months and no one will remember that they saw it before.

The Wheel of Time
(2021)

Cheaply made, not even near the novels...
...but that's ok, everybody and their mom expected that from the get go.

This show, is like watching Highschoolers with millions of dollars making fan fiction films for YouTube.

I really wish that Amazon had chosen some other fantasy series to butcher, such as Dragon Riders of Pern for example.

Santa Inc.
(2021)

Even the worst Adam Sandler movie is better than...
This unfunny, mean sprited pile of horse dung made by two slacktivists and wannabe comedians.

Seriously, why are these two Rogen and Silvermann still have a career in Hollywood?

Ah, yes, ofc because they shout at old white men, in this case embodied by Santa himself.

Dear Seth Rogen and dera Sarah Silvermann stopp making tv-shows and sty over at your second home which is Twitter.

You're not funny, you're not talented, you're just another two slacktivists with no clue what you're doing.

Cowboy Bebop
(2021)

Another beloved IP ruined by Netflix...
I wonder if the inept dangerhaired clowns over at Netflix are payed by the number of ruined projects?

Seriously, who greenlit this atrocity?

Most of the dialogue is so bad it seems it was either written by a bot or a 12 year old. I've seen Highschool plays with better dialouges than this joke of a tv-show has.

John "I'm only in for the paycheck" Cho and Daniella "I'm acting like a plank of wood" Pineda are not even phoning it in, so lazy and bad is their acting.

Their action scene in the first episode on New Tijuana was so laughably bad it made me almost suffocate while laughing my southern end off..

The only likeable character in this show is Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, everbody else is just a laughing stock and I won't even get started about what they did to Gren.

Vicious while being a multi-layered antagonist in the anime, is nothing but a useless clown in this newest Netflix nightmare. Why Netflix? Why?

If you haven't done so already, go watch the anime it's way better and more fun to watch, than this pile of crap.

Thanks for nothing, Netflix.

Star Trek: Prodigy
(2021)

Great! Another season of Star Wars Rebels, oh wait...
... this was obviously thought to be a new Star Trek series. Seriously? As in, are you serious?

Well, to be brutally frank when the first thing which comes to the mind of a viewer is Star Wars instead of Star Trek you have massively dropped the ball during the creation of this tv-show.

Not that I would have expected any better by this danger haired soy-latte drinking Twitter addicts over at CBS who obviously have not the slightest clue what they're doing.

I rate this 2/10 because the CGI is good and the voice actors did a really good job, but other than that it's a blatant Star Wars rip-off.

Star Trek: Prodigy, my foot!

P. S.: The General Grievous copy looked really good, even better than the original, I'll give them that.

Foundation
(2021)

Did anybody reall think this would be above mediocrity?
How the hell did Apple TV's exec's see Goyer's CV and thought "Yeah that's the guy who can pull that off"?

To me it is pretty obvious Apple's Foundation was more about buying an authors famous sci-fi name than making a somewhat faithful adaptation of the underlying ideas.

When even the absolutely mediocre 2004 Will Smith movie "I, Robot" is more faithful to its source material than this medicore pile of garbage you have failed miserably.

Titans
(2018)

Season 1 was actually really good but at Seasosn 2 they started fumbling the ball...
...and Season 3 is nothing more than an out of control dumpster fire.

Actually, who writes such garbage, are there no competent writers left in the American tv-industry?

I'v read far more interesting DC-fan fiction which would have been worthy of a tv-show than this uninspired, being gritty for the sake of being gritty, boring garbage.

Stargirl
(2020)

Season 1 was really good but Season2 went down the...
...drain really fast the usual teenage angst garbage, frankly said nobody older than 12 gives a flying fart about.

The teenage actors while really good in Season 1 really just go the usual, so often already seen, teenage brat route which is always a sign of lazy writing.

To be brutally frank they should have made Stripsey a real super hero and made it an adult tv-show.

Which would have been way better than this lame tv-show obviously aimed at 6-12 year olds.

Sorry, but I'm just bored to death of these formulaic tv-shows with just another "she's the one" Mary Sue.

The Tomorrow War
(2021)

Good to enjoy after work with a beer in your hand
This was one of the only recent releases I've watched all the way through. No preaching, no virtue signalling or self flagelation.

Nice!

The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch
(2020)

Another worthless "reality"-tv show
If your into that stuff this might be something for you, but for people who can think and breathe at the same time, just avoid it or you will hear your braincells die.

The Midnight Sky
(2020)

A claustrophobic science fiction film based on Stanislaw Lem's novel Solaris
The Midnight Sky is a calmly told story. One of the dream of bringing human existence out into space, but also of the tragedy of failing on a global scale shortly before reaching the goal.

Most of the time, the film is mainly carried by Clooney himself, who is the last scientist on the station to have a job to do, knowing full well that it will ultimately not change the result. That makes his figure a particularly tragic one.

The pain of the loss - on a personal, but also larger level - can be seen in Clooney's eyes.

It plays subtly, and yet says more than any word could. Its story is the more interesting one, but it is always alternated with that of the astronauts on their way back to Earth.

The Midnight Sky ends as it has to end.

With all consistency, without giving a false hope, without relying on the typical Hollywood happy ending.

The night has fallen on humanity, the last tango has begun. The end is here.

Cosmic Sin
(2021)

Soon Bruce Willis will make Movies with Steven Seagal
Yup, here I said it. Bruce Willis' career or what remains of it is faster and faster circling down the drain to Steven Seagal bad movie levels.

What the hell happenend Bruce? It's pretty obvious now that he is not even pretending to care anymore.

Is that man so desperate for a paychek that he even outdoes Steven Seagal and Nicolas Cage in terms of bad One Dollar Bin flicks?

Jesus Christ Bruce, what the hell happened?

Manifest
(2018)

Had potential, but this ain't it...
...The storyline would have been good for a 5 episode mini series or maybe a two-parter but three seasons of thinly veiled sci-fi mystery at season1 and after that rapidly devolving into a "Days Of Our Lives" soap opera. Nope, this ain't it!

It really looks like this is one of the many half baked storylines which have been aired on network tv over the last years written and developed by talentless but politically correct hacks.

The actors are mediocre at best and some of them look like they are just phoning it in for the paycheck.

Even Ghostbusters 2016 is more enjoyable than this snooze fest and that should tell you something.

The Lady and the Dale
(2021)

Just another piece of "trans people can't do no wrong" propaganada
This is the result when transgender propaganda gets out of control. Liz Carmichael was a fraudster and a con man, end of story you might think. Nope, enter the transgender propaganda brigade and watch their attempt to whitewash a conman and fraudster into a "empowering", "stunning and brave" Trangender hero and ofc a victim of the vile media. The whole series tries to portray a horrendous criminal as a good person because of a gender change. Nobody cares what gender it was, it was a fraudster and a criminal, end of story.

Avenue 5
(2020)

When progressives do comedy it seldom ends well..
HBO - Really? Imagine a space ship filled with idiots and captained by an idiot. Imagine a company run by idiots. Imagine space travel has been taken over by idiots. Imagine a complete tv-show written by idiots. Imagine actors in dire need for a paycheck. Imagine Josh Gad is considered an actor. That's Avenue 5 in a nutshell and it's painful to watch. Seriously, who wrote this contrived utter garbage? Who greenlit this bloody toss? It seriously looks like some progressive hipsters developed this show in an organic vegan diner while sipping their soy-latte. I really can imagine the production meeting - "let's make a satire set on a space liner, but we have to remove all the humour because humour is problematic." Stop pandering to the social justice crowd at Twitter and start making tv-shows for your audience again, ya know, those you actually pay for HBO.

Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé
(2019)

Plese leave yoiur echo chamber
This is the example of an artist who has serious problems with delusions of grandeur. Cultural movement? My foot! This movie consists solely of huge loads of virtue signalling, borderline racism and is as a whole nothing more than overblown egotistical Tosh.

The Tick
(2016)

Thank god no Marvel/DC codswallop
This show takes a huge crap on all the other superhero tv-shows/ movies out there (who take themselves way to serious, like e.g. Arrow, Flash, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and the like) and it does so in the most weird, strange and adorable way possible!

Doom Patrol
(2019)

Thank god, a superheroes tv-show which doesn't take itself serious.
A superheroes tv-show which doesn't take itself serious. To be honest, that was long overdue after all the super hero crap riddled with more or less subtle political agendas. Haven't had such hard laughs while watching a tv-show for a long time. Go watch it.

Doctor Who
(2005)

Doctor Who Season 11
I did not watch the original series so I don't care what other people are talking about. But I do know that I just wasted time staring at the tv. I was done with this steaming pile of woke crap after the Arachnids in the UK episode. The whole seson so far consists of a very uninteresting premise combined with horrible acting and dialogues. It's not good as an adventure, nor drama, nor comedy. This is just another fine example of a tv show going down the drain, casued by getting "woke" done by terrible writers like Chibnall. It's dead, Jim.
