Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet the Invisible Man
(1951)

THE WHITE RABBIT'S REVIEW OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET THE INVISIBLE MAN
Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man- ***

Here we are again, drawn into yet another Abbott and Costello movie. This time, the special effects out due the original Invisible man, and the humor from Abbott and Costello is at its best. This is one of the better films by them, most of the others are slow and somewhat boring. Here, its exciting and funny at the same time.

This is when Abbott and Costello are actually enjoyable to watch. Sure they overuse a lot of the same jokes, but at least there's some new ones too. I've never been a big admirer of Abbott and Costello, however there are a couple of their films that I really do love. I especially like their short skits, because they usually tend to be funnier. Here are some of my other favorites: Who's on First? Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein -Micah Knapp

Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff
(1949)

THE WHITE RABBIT'S REVIEW OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET THE KILLER, BORIS KARLOFF
Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff- **1/2

Although occasionally funny at times, this Abbott and Costello movies seems to get really slow and boring. The humor is so-so, and the plot is the usual Abbott and Costello type. If they made a few slight changes to the plot, added some funnier humor, and made it a tad-bit faster paced, it would have been a good film. I am not saying its not enjoyable, I am saying it could have been much better. But this is the usual problem with their films. There are only a few of there films that are really put-together well. Watch and enjoy, but just remember, it does get a little boring. -Micah Knapp

Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
(1953)

THE WHITE RABBIT'S REVIEW
Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde- **

Abbott and Costello's films always seem to be a hit or miss. This film, of course, being a miss. The problem with their films is that they seem to do the same routine in the exact same situation. Costello never believes Abbott when he witnesses something, and eventually finds out the hard way. Once you've seen this before, there's no need to see it again. Sure, some elements may change, but its usually the same thing. What happened to their best routines, one including, "Who's on First?" That was one of their most brillant routines. Just stop and think how hard it would be, and frustrating to write it. However, in most of their movies, they seem like they aren't even trying to think of a new routine. It's like they are to lazy to think of something new. They basically recycle the same jokes over and over. I disliked this film, but there are other Abbott and Costello films I can recommend: Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein or Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, where they actually seem to think of something new and funny. There are times when they may remind you of Laurel and Hardy. Who came first? Who knows. -Micah Knapp

Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein
(1948)

THE WHITE RABBITS REVIEW OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein- ***1/2

Finally, Abbott and Costello must have got some sense knocked into them. Most of the time, their routines are all the same, however occasionally they do think of something original. There are many great comic moments in the movie, and I guess having Frankenstein and Dracula in it, add to that. Watch and think about their routines. Look at it from a writer's point of view. These are the moments we cherish when we think of Abbott and Costello. This is when they are at their best. The whole opening scene is hilarious, and probably is one of their best moments ever. Abbott and Costello are funny at times, even though we all get annoyed by them also. We all, I think, want Costello to listen and believe Abbott, but at the same time, that's part of their characters. This is by far, the best work of Abbott and Costello. -Micah Knapp

Kiss the Girls
(1997)

A well put together movie!
This film may borrow from other films, and follow the usual pattern of most mystery-suspense movies, but at the same time uses new and exciting ways to make it tense and suspenseful. However, without Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd's characters the film wouldn't have the same touch to it. That's what's so unique about this film, is that their characters are so well done. Your always watching them, believing every word they say to actually be true. I need to especially comment on Morgan's Freeman's acting.

Usually, with most actors, you can tell they are just reading their lines and acting their part. With Morgan Freeman, he IS the part.

He's totally believable, like your actually watching a real detective at work. This movie may not be the most original movie I've ever seen but it's definitely very stunning and exciting.
