The wachowski brothers did a million times better job with the previous films (legends). If you put the first movie and this monstrosity side by side, this so called movie will look like as if it was done in 99 and the first one done in 2021. The script is so weak, the cgi is horrible with weird choices especially in that 2 frame bullet time animations of Neil's and that horrible train scene... This movie looks like they had no budget, no script, no choreography, no stunt management, no creativity, no cgi artists and no energy on both Keanu's and Carrie's end. I wish we were really living in matrix and we're able to restart from a previous save file in which this thing was not shot at all...

Do you know what Netflix's problem is? Not big budgets or hiring top level actors, directors. Not special effects or costumes or props. It is making movies without having a script. Let me underline this, I'm not saying having bad scripts.. This is another level. Having no scripts at all and starting to shoot something. Bad scripts is better than no script. Look at all Netflix original movies. Something or everything misses all the time. Sometimes they don't end; they start good but don't escalate. They start bad, continue bad and end bad. They tell nothing, characters are shallow, no plot, no story, and let's get back to where we've started, no script at all! Netflix please give up. You are not good at making movies. On serials, at lease 1/100 of your original serials are good. Throw your millions of dollars to the air, the wind will fly it to somewhere/someone and I am sure that this will be more entertaining.

Don't mind the rating here, it is a very fun to watch, filled with constant laughter movie

Yo sit in front of ethos, thinking you are starting the watch a tv series. But 2 minutes into the show, you become a part of it. Acting is so natural and almost perfect. The lighting, angles, cuts... no less than an art film. The soundtrack is on the spot. I'm not saying everyone should get behind their screens and watch ethos, I'm saying everyone should take their seat in front of the camera and become an invisible spectator in this flowing story.

Something must have went terribly wrong, this is what I kept on thinking while watching this movie. Like they had to cut the length in half. There are characters serves nothing, no back stories. How did the stars fall in love this deeply with so little happened. The daughter of the villain character serves nothing. The mother character is pointless. The robot, what is the need to that? And their family bonding? All the loving looks of the last standing crew. I don't care about your love stories since it is not told or even showed. Well yea this is a good example of how to burn millions of dollars.

After seeing all the negative comments and hate, I've almost skipped watching this. Glad I haven't. It was a good looking, full of action, descent movie. It has the same good taste of all the terminators with Arnold in it.

Horrible script. Another wasted idea. Most of the actings are ok unlike protector that is the only improvement. Archeologists guy sees his parents getting murdered and talks how he is shocked and thought he was the reason for the accident all time etc. and 2 episodes later he learns the same thing again and gets shocked and now this is the main focus of the episode. Really?

Netflix please stop making Turkish serials. Just give up! Spend your money on witchers, darks, star treks, peaky blinders' etc...

There are better written, acted and shot preschool children plays (ilkokul müsameresi) than this. Worst "thing" you can ever watch in Netflix and god you know how high that statistic is since Netflix is 90% crap... So let's dive into a deep analysis after first season.

Script: Weak script with shallow dialogues. Sentences keeps repeating, not natural, not believable. Well if you first write in another language and translate it back to native original language after, this is what you get...

Acting: Horrible, terrible, intolerable... you can take their acting diplomas and burn them in the fires of hell but wait, none of them are professionals... Under normal circumstances, the producer should be cancelling the show for good or re shoot it with different script, cast, director, cameraman, costume designer... till to the guy who serves tea in set... (Mehmet Kurtulus excluded).

Cinematography: Exteriors are fine. Even good. Nice drone job. Interiors are inconsistent. Sometimes the scene has great dramatic lightning that takes your focus from horrible actings and silly dialogues, and sometimes it's like shot with a very first generation camera phone. Full of gren, out of focus... scenes have continuation problems. Most of the skips are not tied up to the previous. The actor runs, and stops at the edge of the camera thinking that She is out of frame. It is full with mistakes like that. Mistakes that not even a fresh cinema student at his first year would make...

Color correction: This process saves a poorly shot scene, might fix bad lightings, give spirit to the product etc etc. I will just give one example out of millions, the car goes out from the underground car park to outside daylight, you wait 2.7 seconds for camera to regain contrast and focus. They show the audience 2.7 seconds long full white frame... so you know how seriously taken this thing is...

Special effects: There are 5 or 6 effects in all 2 seasons. You can find people making fun of these effects all over the internet. A 5 year old with a decade old computer can do maybe not better but the same at least.

Sound: As I can see from the shadows of booms all over the actors faces or on decors, they shot this hideous thing with sound. But it is dubbed in its native language so my guess is they even didn't get that right so they had to use those sounds as pilots for dubbing.

Fighting choreographies: Well this is the biggest problem in all Turkish shows. Very very bad fighting scenes. But in this thing, it is very well done. Good job.

Art direction: The few milliseconds long historic scenes are realistic and nice. Costumes are ok. Hakan wears the same patched jacked for 2 full seasons. Era decors are really bad. For example the bowl in first season. It's wood but painted like it's metal and everyone pretends that it's metal. Hilarious.

After watching the second season... I had high hopes for second season saying to myself that "well they can't do worse than the first season?" Well congratulations guys, you did the almost impossible and surpass yourselves. I was so ashamed that I took my eyes of the screen many times to not see. In this show there is the protector, loyals, immortals and a last minute oracle. They are all shallow... no origin stories, no details, no believability... the show is over and we have no clue about the what is these protectors, immortals and loyals about and you sadly you are not curious. you can't emphasize with any of the characters. Every death in this thing is a relief. "one less bad acting" you say.

This movie is on Turkish Televisions everyday. Same fictional stories, same lies... Everyday we see internal mails from the employees of the close to government companies in which the managers threaten the employees to go to this movie and bring back the ticket if they want to keep their job. Turkey is passing through very rough times these days with its fascist government. This movie is trying to cover the billion dollars this government and their families stole (which are proved with many legal tapes, photos and voice recordings but darkened); trying to hide the innocent civilians they killed and trying to hide the evil leading the country. What is fortunate about this film for the Turkish people is that it is so bad. It is horrible and therefore no one will ever watch it in Turkey or abroad. It would have been a good movie with horrible lies but instead it is a bad movie with horrible lies...
