Bad Education
(2019)

Compelling & Constructive Crime Story
"It's not perfect but it works"(Film Quote), is a phrase we often hear as a justification for a corrupt rotten system. In the context of Pakistan, it goes something like this; "Khata hai tau Lagata bhi tau hai".

Once a man takes certain pieces of paper as his lord, the values of truth, honor, honesty & integrity go out the window. Greed becomes his sole companion. But as the saying goes, "avarice never made any man rich". Not merely because filthy lucre is an unfaithful mistress, but also because it robs man of his humanity.

That's the reality which propels the conscientious among us to state the following:

"Integrity, transparency and the fight against corruption have to be part of the culture and taught as fundamental values" ~ OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría

It often becomes quite impossible to make people realize that 'Nothing else Matters' - without the qualities of trustworthiness & financial integrity. But then, such films come along - & we get another chance.

How Do You Know
(2010)

"A very nice romantic comedy"
First of all "Great" cast,Owen Wilson,Jack Nicholson and Reese Witherspoon in the same movie.......I knew it would be good if not great and that's exactly what it was "a good realistic romantic comedy".

Well Reese and Paul are at the point in there lives where they have achieved everything and it's all downhill from there.Lisa(Witherspoon) gets cut from USA Soft Ball team. She has a boyfriend (Owen)who is a baseball player and earns $14 million a year. And than there's George(Paul) who's going to be prosecuted for stock fraud in his father(Jack)'s company.

It's a love triangle in realistic way.A very nice movie, very good acting and fun to watch.Take it easy relax & enjoy.

Assalam-O-Alaikum (May Peace Be On You).

Middle Men
(2009)

"Luke Wilson shines bright"-His best movie ever
Luke really did surprise me in this movie. He is a brilliant actor but in the past he hasn't got the roles that he deserves. This movie was perfect for him to really show his skills as an actor.

It's about a family man who's got a gift of getting himself/people out of trouble or rather out of difficult situations.Chronicles Jack Harris, one of the pioneers of internet commerce, as he wrestles with his morals and struggles not to drown in a sea of conmen, mobsters, drug addicts, and porn stars.

Well it's highly entertaining and keep's it's pace throughout the movie,in the last 30 minutes things really heat up.So watch it & enjoy.

Shab-Bakher (Good Night).

S.W.A.T.: Firefight
(2011)

"It's That Bad"
Well this movie starts OK,tries to set base but can't.The script is very weak.....no real story whatsoever. They just wanted to show a maniac with arms going after the good guys....even with these kinds of resources they weren't able to pull this off.

It has many flaws as well like: 1-When "Paul" makes "Watters" "the Sniper Man" instead of "Kellogg" the best shooter in the team.......it shows his poor judgement. 2-And than he takes "Kellogg" out of the team just to introduce a girl element.......ridiculous and childish. 3-You remember me saying that "They just wanted to show a maniac with arms going after the good guys"........well guys it's really true, there's nothing more in the story.....there's no "WHY?" in the script(well they showed that "the girl"committed suicide whom Walter Hatch(the maniac)allegedly loved, that's why he went after them),no link between stories. 4-Well our lead goes to Detroit on mayor's request to certify there "SWAT" team....and at the end of the movie he says "consider them certified"like killing that alleged "maniac" and "watters" getting killed was the certification they needed.

All in All it was a "boogusss" movie.....and don't just go there to see "S.W.A.T" in action ....you'll be disappointed.

The Holiday
(2006)

Utterly Enjoyable-''A Great Thought Of Hope''
Well,I expected this movie to be good but it surprised me in a good way.I had been feeling a little depressed and scenically & I was trying to escape, this movie worked wonders for me in a way that I can't explain.I got into it right from the first scene.

I always knew that "JUDE LAW" is a very good actor,I've seen his "Breaking and Entering" & I liked him in that role too but seeing him like this with his soft side on the lose was extremely special."Kate Winslet" was the girl whom I fell in love with after watching "Titanic" but I think her baring all over-shadowed her whole career & people started giving her compliments on her beauty rather than her acting. She is worth seeing in this movie, when she weeps and yearns you feel her pain & when she laughs it makes us happy too."Cameron Diaz" is the "lively one" in this movie who makes a bad thing look good.I really don't believe in the tags that people attach to actors,"Jack Black" is the perfect example for that known only for his comedy skills he really steps up in this one & shows that those people are wrong.

This movie is about "love",loving someone who loves us back. Its about finding the love that you were missing. Its "the" movie to watch over and over again.

Entrapment
(1999)

Flaws Or Not "I Was Hooked"
I am sure you'd have heard about this movie a little bit or have an idea, but let me introduce you to the cast "Sean Connery" & "Catherine Zeta Jones".

So it's a heist movie involving a thief & FBI(An insurance agent is sent by her employer to track down and help capture an art thief). It's not a movie thats extraordinary or mesmerizing but it sure is a "great fun to watch" and "enjoy".This Movie doesn't try to come out as a "masterpiece" or anything but it sure does what it gets out to do.You'll enjoy every bit in the company of Sean Connery and Zeta Jones.

Let's talk about the negative reviews or rather "comments".There No 1) problem is that they can't get the age difference between Sean & Catherine(actually the romance between these two).My answer to this question would be (actually it didn't go down there throats that a girl that beautiful could fall for an old man,i think they should "open their minds a little bit) that it was the demand of the script..........Catherine Zeta Jones admires and adores the genius of Sean Connery's art of theft. She has been his student in a sense that she idealizes him that's why she seems leaning towards him and then there is the other thing that she knows that she needs his help. 3)Some had a problem that Sean Connery wasn't as Legendary as he should have been in this movie.............i would ask them what did u expect Sean Connery's next 007 or Tom Cruise Style stunts performed by him,he did what he was supposed to do. 2)Many have provided some other holes in the script too & 7hat the twist's were not that good but again they don't burden the audience one bit..............there are worst movies than this,one-two even in the 007 series and in the Bat Man series.

And if not for anything else See it for the gorgeous Catherine Zeta Jones..............You won't be disappointed.

Ramona and Beezus
(2010)

"Ramona Will make You Fall In Love With Her"
First Of all this is my very first review so please don't mind anything. And yessss....... I standby my word.Ramona played by "JOEY KING" is definitely the "Sun" in this movie and the whole universe revolves around her. This girl is very imaginative and artistic who thinks that her family doesn't love her because she is different. But as in real life the movie goes on and she realizes that she really is "extraordinary".

Every little move that she makes is depicted beautifully in the movie. The Writers & director knew that anything that powerful needs character building and that's exactly what they did.Joey is full of acting genes, she is a natural talent & i have very high hopes for her.

So,the cast is superb too..........most of them are whom we know & love.Ramona has a big sister "Beezus" played by "Selena Gomez"(at-last a big sister who is not "mean").The part of the father is played by "John Corbett" whom we know from "United States Of Tara" & and the mother is lovely "Bridget Moynahan".Character of aunt bea is played by "Ginnifer Goodwin" and her boyfriend is "Josh Duhamel".All of them played their part nicely.

I am surprised that this movie hasn't got better ratings on IMDb............i don't know what's happening to people. But don't get put off by that & "Trust Me".Every moment of this movie is worth watching and most of all worth enjoying. So get your pop corns and chill a little...........you'll most definitely like it.

So peace until next time.
