A 'tongue in cheek' cartoon version of Star Trek that is awesome. They trek their way around space with lots of weird and wonderful experiences. Love how the opening sequence "grows" with each episode. Fun to look back to the first episode to compare the changes. The lead actors play semi believable characters with great personalities. Lots of guest appearances from previous versions of star trek which helps tie in cartoon and real life performances. And lower decks even makes a guest appearance in Strange New World... Probably my favourite show of all . Highly recommend... Can't wait for season 5.
Wow, at first i thought i was watching the wrong series, with it starting in animation from the "star trek, lower decks" series. Wow oh wow, what a surprise and an immense treat. Nothing liked I expected. I laughed and giggled at all the hidden little Easter eggs and references to Star trek old and new. Had never thought of watching "lower decks" until now, and now I really want to see that series as well, to get another insight into all the different kinds of "Star trek". Extremely well written and directed, and an enormous change from the usual kind of story. So excellent i would give it 100 out of ten. Love love loved it :)
Started off okay, and seriously went downhill. It's like a rehash of "children of the corn". By episode 3 or 4 it lost any believability. Out of fairness i watched till the end, but wished i never had. Okay acting, okay cinematography, (didn't like the lighting that much, but that built the atmos). Too me it required the dull lighting, the sad sombre background music and foley sounds to breed it's atmos and create the feel the writers wanted, but,,,, okay i guess some people like it, but not me ... Horses for courses, one man's meat is another man's poison, and so on ... Glad i never worked on it.
