Takin' It Off
(1985)

A lot of skin and a lot of fun
If you're looking for a film that shows lots of skin, this is it. Betty Bigones (Kitten Natividad) sets out to make those big ones a little smaller, and her struggles to do so give the film a plot of sorts. The characters are shallow so no real oscar-winning acting is required here. Their erotic comments made to each other make for some laughs. The sound track isn't too bad either which might classify this movie as an "erotic musical" What makes this movie great, however, is the stripping acts by Betty and her friends in the "Little Playhouse" where they perform. Betty also plays several erotic scenes based on the diets she is trying. The ladies are takin' it off for sure and it's fun to watch. It's probably the best show of undraped femininity I've ever seen.

Last Summer
(1969)

Great acting by a young group provides a moving, emotional experience
Set in one of the most beautiful beach settings on the East Coast, Fire Island, New York, Last Summer centers around the struggles of Rhoda, played brilliantly by Catherine Burns. After meeting the other three main characters on the beach, Burns goes along with them on several adventures in which Rhoda's past tragedies and present hangups come to the forefront. As the story progresses, Burns is drawn closer to the character played by Richard Thomas setting the stage for the stunning conclusion of the film.

These are four young people sharing experiences and feelings together, with happy moments and sad moments. I felt like I was there on the beach with them and it was deeply moving.
