Anyone who says that he understood this film when he first watched it and didn't read the book is LYING! I just recently read the book and only now I understand the movie. I think I just have to watch it again to appreciate it. When I saw it the first time I thought it was a little slow and weird, but that's just ok. When you want to see this movie I reccomend you read the book first.

When I read the reviews of most movies I see reviews from people who hated the movie and from people who loved the movie. This film got an 6.7 average and I mostly see reviews of people who don't like the movie. Weird. But what the hell, I'm probably the only person on earth who noticed that. Now about the movie. I thought it was a great movie, with great acting, directing and a great story. I have seen To Die For 3 times now and it doesn't get boring. I recommend this movie to everyone. I gave it an 8.

If u liked the game Mortal Kombat u may like this film. The fights are pretty good although they should have made this film a lot bloodier, with the fatalities from the game. The story is very very incoherent (i used a dictionary for that word:P), the acting isn't very good and Christopher Lambert can't act. The scenery is very well done and Goro is cool. But if u never played the game u shouldn't watch this movie, because u probably will hate it.

Everyone should have seen this movie! Brilliant! The script is brilliant, the acting is brilliant, the direction is brilliant. Everything is brilliant about this movie. That's why: 10/10

I read some reviews on this page and I think many people don't see the true meaning of this movie. Many people are offended by the strong language in the movie, or they don't think it is funny. They only see this. But the movie is about something different. It is about the ridiculous censorship in America. In Holland we don't have this kind of censorship, u can say whatever u want on national tv. Well it's hard for me to express myself in English so I hope everyone understands what I'm trying to say, if not: "screw u guys, I'm going home!"
