Law & Order: Black and Blue
(2022)
Episode 10, Season 21

Bad reviews of new season are valid
I watch old episodes of Law & Order several times a week. I was really excited when I learned the show was coming back, but sadly the new season is no where near being the same. The topic of race wars in America is a horse well beaten to death, but more important, the writing is garbage, the acting is uninspiring, the film sets look cheap and poorly lit.and even the 90s CGI during the opening is cringy. I'm just going to pretend this season didn't happen.

The Matrix Resurrections
(2021)

A sad attempt to reboot a classic
Just watch the original and try to pretend that The Matrix Resurrections doesn't exist.

Congratulations, Lana Wachowski, for completing your actual transition from being a great filmmaker to officially becoming a terrible one.

Making the Cut: Finale
(2021)
Episode 8, Season 2

Are you kidding me?
So after everything the designers went through the final decision belongs to Winny "Pink is My Favorite Color" Harlow?! I wonder is she's going to choose the designer who shares the same cultural identity as her and for whom she's been a vocal proponent the entire season. Quelle surprise!

Should it matter that Adnrea's final collection was mundane and completely forgetful? Of course not! All that matters is that struggling woman of color support each other. Even if they are actually gorgeous, highly successful women with all the perks in the world, there is always room to pretend that they are the victimized underdogs who deserve a "chance".

Massive eye-roll, Heidi and Tim. I'm starting to miss Project Runway more and more.

The Lake House
(2006)

Good lord
So they're both experiencing this inexplicable shift in the four-dimensional spacetime continuum, but instead of investigating, or even basic interest, they decided to talk about their emotions! Please, by all means, don't send me lottery numbers from the future, instead send me a Jane Austin book. Literally, wow! The ultimate chick-flick, written by the ultimate chick.

High Score: Boom & Bust
(2020)
Episode 1, Season 1

Typical Netflix Agenda
A potentially solid episode ruined but a typical "woke" agenda that attempts to displace actually important people and events with a few historical fabrications:

1. Some random Space Invaders champion is transgender, even though she wasn't in the late 1970s.

2. Some random engineer in Silicon Valley who was black, so his contributions to the industry working for some failed company *must* have been overlooked.

3. Public arcades were strictly male-only spaces.

Irresistible
(2020)

Cute flick
The twist at the end was mildly interesting, but it wasn't worth sitting through the first 90 minutes. With all that "star power" they were still unable to make a movie that wasn't dreadfully dull and as compelling as, well, American politics. Is this art imitating life or the inverse?

Star Trek: Picard
(2020)

Gray's Anatomy in Space
I couldn't even make it thru the entire 2nd episode, it was like watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy. All melodrama, even 2 girls saying "omg he's so hot!". Wow. I was looking forward to seeing Seven of Nine again, but I'm sure the writers just turned her into some uninspired and unlikable character like everyone else on the show. Finally, just like in Discovery, the serialized format just doesn't work for Star Trek.

Grey's Anatomy
(2005)

Absolute Garbage
The first few seasons of this show used to be quite compelling. Afterwhich, the show clearly started trying to captivate a younger audience so the idiot writers turned their professional brain surgeons into melodramatic teenagers - everything devolved into tacky relationship drama. Now, with the show continuing to lack any identity of its own and follow trends, the show has become infested with politically extreme ideology.

The show isn't really a comedy, but I had to laugh out loud when one of the characters on the show, who is a gorgeous surgeon, played her race card and angrily told another WHITE doctor to "check her privilege". Honestly, I'm surprised there's no national support group for supermodel brain surgeons of color!

The show is now absolute garbage.

Ocean's Eight
(2018)

Illogical "Feminist" garbage.
Diamond heist? More like a cheap heist of a movie franchise.

There's a scene where Bullock threatens her ex with a prison shiv. The girls have a good laugh about it later over martinees, of course. If there's one thing you can count on it's that feminists will always have a good laugh at domestic violence! Hilarious, ladies!

There's another scene where they state that they don't want to recruit any men because apparently men are always the ones get attention, overshadowing the poor woman, but this time it was OK because they don't want any attention drawn to them during their heist. I guess these eight clever woman forgot that one of them is a star guest at the celebrity gala who was going to be wearing the jewels that they were all planning on stealing. Yup, no attention was drawn to them at all. None! All thanks to boycotting those typical attention seeking men.

Oh, but wait a minute, they did end up recruiting a male. They recruited Yen, the acrobatic contortionist from the original Ocean's movies to swing from the ceiling stealing many more jewels. Was his share even calculated at the end? Looks like the wage-gap isn't a myth, afterall! I guess "Ocean's Nine" doesn't have as nice a ring to it as "All Female-Cast Oceans Eight".

Life of the Party
(2018)

It's been a while since I turned off a movie
No one should spend much time reviewing something that is barely worth a review, so I'll just say this: Life of the Party is a dull annoyance written by and for adolescent girls. The only thing funny about this movie is how it actually got made.

Wonder
(2017)

Poor little rich boy
A kid at school is bullied because of the way he looks. Big deal! Though how perfectly appropriate was the ending when the school gave him the victim-award. I seriously cringe when I imagine all the wholesome upper-class families crying their eyes out to this garbage and giving it top reviews. Get real!

Wonder Woman
(2017)

Average, almost enjoyable action film
For a movie with such a strong feminist message they could have at least hired female stunt actors. Honestly, the overuse of CGI in this film was not only embarrassing, but it is so technically awful that it makes 80's green screen tech look realistic.

As for the generous reviews and upvotes of this movie, we just have to understand that these days marketing budgets not only pay for positive- reviews, but they also pay click-farms.

Gray Matters
(2006)

absolutely dreadful - if you're a smart person you'll hate this movie
Heather Graham couldn't play a convincing lesbian if her life depended on it. Who do the producers of the movie think they are? the ABSOLUTE WORST, most UNREALISTIC movie i've seen in as long as i can remember. This movie is so bad that i felt compelled to sign-up on IMDb and make sure the rating of this "film" drops.

omg i'm Heather Graham, i just kissed a drunk chick, so while she's passed out i'm REALLY going to pace around my room for HOURS asking myself frantically "WHAT HAVE I DONE?!".. Jesus heather, get over it and grow up... and i'd like to forward that same sentiment to the idiot producers... and while i'm at it, instead of this movie being all about an pathetic excuse for a coming out story, perhaps it would have been more suitable to focus the plot onto a character who's mentally unstable... like your so-called "lesbian" character... after all, i know the first time i had gay sex, when i left the next morning i jumped to the sky in excitement in the middle of the street... honestly b*tch, get a grip...

WHAT A JOKE! and please note there are many many many more flaws and appallingly stupid aspects to this lame flick, but i'm so sick of even thinking about it anymore. bottom line, if you're a smart person you'll hate this movie, and if you're not a smart person, then you'll love it... it's as simple as that.
